Under the city of Shard, within the crater Samus II where Shard City is now built, one ancient natural phenomena, akin to that of the Starwell, is the World Nexus. Under a complex weave of trees and dirt is the gigantic cave-like area that gives home to yet another giant incline in the ground, but roots climb up and join here. Experienced druids and Weathermancers are usually the only other people to be able to interact with the Nexus. It was once that brilliant and colossal World Tree that was thought to keep Magic Earth together as it is, it also gave the Fae their short lived immortality until it was destroyed by the Samus II impact.
