Creature Attempted: Borgnah:: Very like a Bognotti. But bigger, meaner, and hungrier. unlike a Bognotti, the Borgnah is intelligent and can learn that one is a source of food and not prey if tamed. They can and are used as mounts by some of the light weight Magescians.
»»» For Step 1: -20. They are dangerous and difficult to catch.
»»» For Step 3: +10 to train them. Once they are tamed, a Borgnah is quite loyal and doesn't want to leave you.

Kirosh listened to Kadryn as she told him her plans.
“Ride a Borgnah?” He said dubiously. “Why would you want...” He paused and thought a minute. Why not? He wanted an Arrical and that was a huge bear, so why shouldn’t she want to ride a huge spider?
“Well, if that’s what you want. Though I hope it can get along with the hastars.” He sighed and gave Tarlon a pitiful look as they entered the kitchen. “Do I have to help you do dishes?” Kadryn snickered as her Uncle grinned evilly.
“Ah course ye do! Kadryn’s out clearing the forest of spiddies, ye can stay with Ol uncle Tarlon. ‘Sides it’ll be good for ye. Builds wrist muscle it does. And with Laasya out with her babe, Ah need a helper.”
Kadryn squeezed Kirosh’s hand. “It’s not that bad Kirosh, You get fed tasty food right?”
“Yeah… but I hate chores.” He sighed and looked about the kitchen. “Why can’t you teach me to cook?”
“Cause Ah gots tah feed edible food tah the customers, not experiments. And iffn ye don’t do dishes Ah do…which takes away from me cooking. So… Dishes is what ye do.”
Kadryn laughed as she escaped the kitchen and flew off back towards the last place she’d been looking. The Borgnah’s seemed to have abandoned the area about the one tunnel that had been raided by Khehora. Where had they gone? She flew through the woods, looking for signs of them, but she couldn’t spot any. There was webbing here and there, but it was only Bognotti webs, not the tunnels of the Borgnah that she wanted.
She spent all day wandering the forest about her home town. Crawling through thick underbrush after what may have been a Borgnah trail, wandering through farmer fields and asking them if they’d seen any or had farm animals go missing. But no one had seen any or lost any animals to them; Dragons and Khehora yes, but not to any Borgnahs. Sad that she couldn’t find them, she headed back home.
Maybe I should bring Kirosh with me, he’s better at tracking than I am. I bet he’d like to get away from Uncle Tarlon for a bit! She giggled as she entered the café and saw Tarlon teasing Kirosh yet more. Yeah, I think I’ll give him a break. No need to let Uncle have his way completely!
“Kirosh, you should come with me hunting tomorrow. I can’t find any Brognahs... it’s like they vanished somehow.” She sighed and leaned into his shoulder to stare pitifully up at him. He looked at her and grinned, “Of course, anything to get out from your uncle’s thumb!”
“Wha? No! ye can’t take me dishwasher away Kaddy! Ah need him here.” Tarlon mock pouted and tossed a roll her way as she laughed.
“Oh please Uncle. Fallon has tomorrow off from school; steal him from Da for a day and you’ll be fine! Fallon’s developing some good muscles from helping at the smithy so I’m sure he can be just as good a dishwasher as Kirosh is!”
Tarlon smiled and relented. “Just dinna let the villagers see him coin’ an goin’. The idiot salt merchant spotted him a few days ago and is all in afizz about Oblvinite spies and what not…”
“I’ll be sneaky don’t worry.” Kirosh grinned. He knew half the reason he was in the kitchen was because it was a safe place to hide.
