Peklo was quietly tending to the tiny hearth in her wonder, fastidiously fixing and tidying the ashes so they were perfectly aligned in the pit. It sat directly in the center of the room, the shining pinnacle of power for her.
After deeming it acceptable, she put away her poker and little brush. She'd made it the most important part of her day, tending the fire. Peklo wasn't sure why, but it felt key to her mission to protect the princess.
When all was said and done, she pulled one of the pillows up beside it, and began meditating. Not meditating so much as not fidgeting. Peklo was a very fidgety person, always needing to fix and tug and pull and twirl and tidy. Maybe part of the reason it was such an important part of her day was because it always followed with quietness. Just the crackle of the fire, and the bubbling of the tiny spring that ran laterally across the room.
It was quiet, but not too quiet. The perfect amount of noise for concentration. She was determined that today would be the day her ancestor presented him or herself. If she just meditated hard enough, it would work ... right?carneli sorry ive been so slow getting these out!

Alfheim was using his Surrounding pass for the first time, almost like he just had to test if it worked. He had gotten it from his sister, and didn’t really question where she had gotten it. She had claimed to know a few of those Zodiac whatevers, although knowing they had these to offer he realized he probably could’ve been a less roundabout loser and gotten his from Hara proper.
But he hadn’t even realized they existed until he had one tossed at his head.
So now here he was, exploring, wandering, hoping Hara’s tales of man eating fish and space whales didn’t come to fruition while he was here.
He had accidentally stumbled on the wonder of Peklo, although he hadn’t realized it and he definitely couldn’t name it. But once he had found it he wasted no time exploring, poking his head into the meditation room and finding he wasn’t alone.
