It was near twilight in the forest, and the whole of the forest was quiet. It was the sounds of the day taking leave and letting the night take over. It was here in this clearing that a certain girl watched the stars. She could feel her pelt almost shine in the moonlight coming from the rising moon. She stretched her wings. She wished she was able to fly above in the stars. She could fly, but as much as she tried she couldn't get to the stars that called to her so fiercely. She longed to be with the stars, and the moon in the sky.
Galaxia was unaware of her surroundings, she knew that not many ventured this far into the forest, and she wasn't concerned with any others that might come around. She continued to stare up at the stars. As she was watching she caught sight of one of the stars breaking free from it's place in the sky to race across the sky. She raced after it, her hooves thundering against the ground as she tried to catch it before it disappeared. It was like her secret game with the falling stars. She stopped her sides heaving as she tried to catch her breath from the run. She whispered to herself "One day..."
She would catch the stars that fell from the sky, It was as if they could speak to her, but she knew that was impossible. For now she just watched and waited to see what would come. She wasn't watching where she was going on her way back to the clearing from which she had just run from. She could use a cool drink of water from the small stream that ran through the clearing. She smiled to herself as she continued to watch the stars, instead of what was in front of her on her way back. She was always in good spirits, and she was still happy even though she hadn't caught the falling star, One day she would, and that was all that mattered to her.

Bláán stood at the stream drinking heartily. He had run farther than he had intended today, and this seemed like a peaceful spot to stay for the night. The trees in the clearing were tight around the border of the grassy area. It was a good place to stay for the night; perhaps he would linger a bit in the morning and watch the stars fade. The brook he was drinking from ran swiftly, but not too swift of deep that he couldn't run into it. Too bad that there was not a pond or little lake to bathe in; he would have loved a bath. But all he did was move into the water and let it flow over his hooves. It was nice to feel the coolness of the water after such a long run.
He loved to run and fly. There was nothing better than feeling the wind in his mane. Though he loved his curls to death, feeling the rush of the wind around him was something that made his heart soar as high as the sky.
He looked up at the stars above, and not for the first time in his life had he felt as small as an ant. He chuckled to himself and thought that the stars must feel like him standing next to the ant. Big, bright, and beautiful, and if not careful of the beings below, could hurt with one thoughtless action.
He smiled as he saw a falling star. The stars and moon were kind to the Earth that they looked down upon. Just as he would not knowingly, or willingly hurt the ant, nor would the world beyond the sky hurt the creatures here below.
He then heard the soft sounds of something in the brush, and made ready for a quick escape if necessary, but the shape of another horse came into view and he turned his head in curiosity as it seemed to be watching the sky more than where it was going. He settled down and continued to watch as the horse drew nearer, and nearer without looking up. He wondered if the other saw him? How could they not with his bright coloring?!
“WATCH OUT!” Bláán cried just as the other kept coming (yes, the horse just kept walking. He didn't know why, but it just did) and could only just now realize the stream was right behind him….

Galaxia watched the stars as she continued walking forward, unaware of the other Soq until it was too late. She heard him say 'Watch Out!' And she looked down at him just before she bumped into him, it was a soft bump, but she did bump into him. It would have been much worse if she had been running as she had before. She knew she messed up by bumping into him and tried to find something to say.
"Um... Hi... I'm Galaxia... And I'm Very sorry for bumping into you!" She said as her words started to run together, she tended to be a fast talker and try to get everything out at once. "I hope I haven't hurt you or anything!" She had no idea what to say or to do to the one she had just bumped into and she felt a bit odd, considering not only was it another Soq, but, it was a male soq. Her mind started racing a mile a minute. 'Oh No! What if I have angered him!' and then 'Wait... Will he be made at me, I'm sure he will be mad at me, but will he still want to talk?' from there her mind went to 'Oh My... I hope hes not angry, and I hope I can convince him to be friends' Before she knew it she just blurted out.
"Do you wanna be friends...?" Once she realized it she blushed a bit, mentally she said to herself 'IDIOT!!', but shook her head to clear the blush away. She hadn't had much contact with others like her, and she noticed that he also had wings. She could fly with him, and she could see if he wanted to join her in finding the fallen stars. They had to land somewhere, not everything could stay up in the air forever. She knew because she had tried. Without any success she had given up and decided that she would leave the hovering to the stars in the sky. She waited eagerly for the response from the male that stood in front of her and she hoped desperately that he wasn't angry with her for bumping into him.

Bláán, who had been bumped into the stream, opened his eyes and the first thing he noted was his hair, is beautiful curls were destroyed.
“MY HAIR!” he exclaimed, “My hair is ruined!” He sat still for a moment then said; “Wait, I’m wet?” realizing next that he was wet all over.
Bláán stood up from his place in the stream. Luckily he landed in the part that had smooth pebbles in the bottom. However it was deep enough to give him a small soaking. The water came up a little past his knees now, and he plowed through to the bank where the other Soquili was standing.
He stood apart from the other, not really getting a good look at the other since his mane was not cooperating, and so proceeded to shake himself off several times before he could see who was there.
He had heard the other speak, catching some things, mostly a name and apologies. He flipped his mane over and looked at her. He now understood why she was called Galaxia. He shook his wings to get the excess water off, and then smiled a bit.
“I am Bláán.” He said a little amused by her skittishness with words, “And no, you have not hurt me,” he really didn't want to sound petty so didn't mention that his curls were messed up, “just my pride.”
Bláán looked at her for a moment still before answering with a smile, “I see no reason not to be friends.” He extended one leg and bowed his greeting to her.
He the stood and said, “May I ask why you were watching the sky rather than where you were going?” He looked up at the stars and said, “Though the stars are pretty tonight are they not?” He looked back at her and smiled, “I saw a shooting star earlier… Did you see it as well and make your wish?”

Galaxia watched as the other had fallen in the river and winced a bit at the sound of the splash. She knew that it was her fault he was in the river and she hung her head slightly figuring he would be angry. When he reached the bank again she waited for him to get up onto dry land, once he was there he shook himself off, sending droplets everywhere. She felt the drops as they splashed onto her, and she made a squeak. The water was cold and she had a thing against cold. When he said his name was Bláán, she smiled, at least she had gotten a name out of her new friend. She was even happier when he said that she had not hurt him, but that she had only hurt his pride. Pride was something that could be healed easier then a wound in her opinion and so she wasn't concerned with it. She almost leaped into the air when he told her that he saw no reason not to be friends and she was happy that she hadn't ruined her chances to befriend someone like him. She liked finding others like her that had wings. He seemed to be a nice enough Soquili, and he wasn't even angry for her bumping him into the river. When he asked why she was watching the stars instead of where she was going she simply blinked at him.
"I was watching the stars because they are more interesting then whats in front of me..." She said then realized that seemed a bit mean and so she said "Well... that is... I don't meet others... Often...." She said stammering to try and figure out what to say. Usually she stuck to herself and Watched the changes in the stars. She did hang out with her friends Argyris and Remiel when they didn't have anything else to do, but mainly she liked to go on adventures and she enjoyed exploring new places.
When she heard him ask about the shooting star she got excited, "Yes! I saw it! I tried to catch it, but again it was faster then I was..." She said in the same fast excited voice she had spoken to him before with. She heard him ask about the wish and she looked at him, a bit of shock showed on her face. "You mean you can wish upon the falling stars...?" She was surprised at this and had never been told this before. She needed to go and find this fallen star so she could make her wish. "We need to go find it then!" She turned to start walking in the direction she had just come from. "I know it went this way!" She wasn't even thinking about the fact that the Star may not have even hit the earth, she was just thinking about the fact that she hadn't made a wish on the fallen star, she didn't want to not get her wish because she didn't know about it.
She looked back over her shoulder at Bláán, "I mean... If you want to... Or we could...." she trailed off, she had forgotten that he might not want to go searching for the fallen star. She tended to focus on something and then everything else seemed to just be pushed from her mind. "I mean... we did just meet, and I don't want to force you to do anything you don't wanna do... But you seem like a lot of fun... and It's always more fun to find things and go places with others right...?" She didn't want to seem like she was a complete airhead, but she tended to be just that. She waited for an answer from him, and she watched him hoping that he would choose to come with her to find the fallen star.

Bláán watched Galaxia as she talked about watching the stars, and not watching the things around her. Bláán wondered how a Soquili could not admire the nature around him… But then again, were not the stars a part of nature as well? But how could one not meet other Soquili often? He wondered if this mare was alone in the world just like he was.
He listened as she talked about chasing the falling star and wondered why she would chase it. Apparently this wasn’t her first time chasing the stars, as well as hearing about wishing upon them. His mother used to speak about such things when he was little and the world was new.
So far his wishes had not come true.
Bláán blinked at her request to find the fallen star. That was new. He had never tried to catch one before. He had never thought about trying to find them. So far he had never heard of either a Soquili or even a two-legger finding one.
Bláán smiled at her wish to find the star. Perhaps that was her wish? He mentally shook himself, and thought a run, even though he had just had a nice flight, sounded like a good idea, especially with a companion. He lowered his head, and nodded in agreement and said, “I won’t make any promises on finding a fallen star, but if we do not find one, make your wish regardless, the spirits will hear you, I am sure.” He nodded to her to signal to lead them off, “I will follow you whenever you wish.”

Galaxia watched as Blaan seemed to take what she had said into consideration. She shifted her weight from side to side because she couldn't sit still long. She was excited to find the fallen star, but she didn't want to put off this new potential friend with acting to rashly. She thought to herself 'Calm... collected... serene...' she was trying to ignore her adventurous nature. She also wanted to go to find the star before someone else found it.
She almost bounced with joy as he nodded to her and told her that he would go with her. What caught her off guard was the fact that he told her to make her wish regardless of whether they found the fallen star or not. Silently she closed her eyes and stayed still for a moment as she thought back to the falling star she had seen just a short while ago. She silently made her wish. 'I wish that things will continue to improve, and that maybe I will meet The One soon...' She had been hoping for a friend and a companion that she could share everything with, someone who would love her for her weird quirks, but she wouldn't dare say anything about that out loud. She didn't tend to do well around others because of her randomness and her actions before thinking personality. She had been hoping one day someone at least would accept her and love her. She shook her head, she needed to focus on the stallion in front of her and on the journey they were about to make together.
She stared at him for a moment her eyes wide as she thought about that for a moment or two. He was a stallion, He said he was going to follow her wherever, and they were about to go on a journey together. Her mind raced with so many thoughts at once. 'COULD HE BE THE ONE?!' was all her mind was screaming over all the other thoughts rolling through her head. She blushed deeply, but turned around quickly to hide it.
"We... Umm..." She said trying to get her mind to work. "We should head this way.... It fell somewhere this way...." She said through the blush, she quickly tried to hide the blush as she tried to clear her head. Mentally she added 'Stop being an Idiot! He may not think anything of this journey!!' She started walking in the direction she had come from hoping he was following her like he had said he would. Her thought still racing, she could help but be overjoyed that someone wanted to share this journey with her. She had a bit of a hop to each one of her steps. It seemed like she could have almost been gliding as her wings flapped happily as she walked.
She glanced back for a moment, Hoping the blush was gone, to see if he was actually following her. She smiled to him.
