Nicolae was still sure that Zia was one hundred and twenty seven percent out of her mind, even though he had to admit, the way he had just changed his clothes quickly like that had been pretty strange.
He made his way towards the house, feeling kind of confused about everything. What was really going on anyway? Was this all just some sort of trick? How could he not be himself? And how would people not know who he was…and just what was going on?
When they got to Noah’s, he looked at Zia and shrugged. “I really still don’t understand what’s going on, okay? Noah’s going to just laugh when you try to pull all of this on him, you know.” Noah would have the answers. To be honest…he was really starting to just think that Zia was off her rocker.
But hey. There had been something strange going on, he was going to give her that…he just wasn’t sure if he believed that he was a magical knight…and had forgotten being one for the past…who knows how long.

"It's just hard to explain," Zia said with an anxious whine before she pounded on the door, demanding an answer until an exasperated and exhausted Noah made his way out of bed. While she waited for the lethargic shuffling beast indoors to make his way to the entrance, she turned to invasively touch Not-Nicolae's face some more. "Are you sure your head feels okay? Do you feel okay? Oh god, poor baby..."
Noah had been working a variety of weird schedules and was in dire need of sleep he couldn't seem to make happen, and when he finally, finally did, someone was pounding on his door. And wouldn't go away.
He eventually jerked the door so hard the hinges seemed to shriek in agony from the strain. It was an older house he was still in the process of renovating, and it still needed a lot of elbow grease. And regular grease.
"Zia," He practically snarled, seeing the culprit. Of course his sister would burst over unannounced. Rude. But with a strange boy? That didn't help matters. He jerked one thumb towards the blond. "Who the ******** is this?"

Nicolae scoffed, trying to pull away from Zia, to save his lovely face from her crabby and crazy hands. “I feel fine. I seriously think you’re losing your damn mind.”
He fell silent when Noah exited the house, though raised a hand in greeting, grinning for a split second until it seemed that Noah really didn’t know who he was. What was going on here? Seriously? “The ******** are you even going on about, you a*****e. I’m you’re cook. I’ve been your ******** cook for I don’t even know how long now. I’m Nicolae. Jesus, are you and your sister just trying to punk me or something? Is that what this is all about? Am I getting promoted?”
For a moment, the blonde looked slightly hopeful. Promoted would be a very good thing…more money was a good thing, and hey! Maybe he’d get to actually cook something now, instead of dishes. He was sick and tired of dishes.

The accusation of being crazy made Zia withdraw her hands and shuffled them nevously as her mouth twisted, but when she saw Noah, she tackled him and bawled.
"I'm so sorry I broke Nicolae," She wailed.
It was at least enough to catch him off guard and let them both in the house and offer coffee and a place to sit at the table. It had been a month since Noah moved in an packed boxes still filled a lot of corners, but at the very least the kitchen was set up, there was a couch in the living room and a table in the dining area.
And a babbling, bawling Zia rapidly firing off about knights and the Negaverse and purification. It needed a specially skilled linguist to decipher all of the disjointed sentences and gibberish.
Or someone who had only known her since she was born.
Noah understood, but the actual content was still making his brow contort as he stared at the stranger.
"So..." He finally said, scratching at the stubbing as he leaned back in a dining chair. "You're seriously telling me that my dishwasher was a Negaverse officer, who decided to side switch tonight, and now after Camelot knighted him he's a Polaris squire who doesn't remember being a negaverse agent and looks like a random strange dude in my house."
"Yes!" Zia squawked, pulling out her phone and pulling up the picture of Mariposite. "See? See?!"
"...No." But that was mostly because she was shoving it in Nicky's face, not Noah's.

The blonde stared hard at the picture on the phone. The guy was blonde, just like he was, and was kind of dashing, just like he was, but other than that he shrugged. “I have no idea who that guy is, Zia. But I think you’re trying to show your brother, not me…and Noah, dude. What the heck are you talking about.”
He was starting to feel slightly sick to his stomach. Just what had gone on…because clearly something had. And it was something that he was starting to really not like, or understand or anything…
“Noah, you really don’t know who I am? Do I look any different? Seriously…I’m just…just me. I run around, chasing girls? We had this conversation not too long ago…”
Finally he looked between the siblings and shook his head. “What is going on. Zia. What did you do?” Because…she was the one there. Clearly this was all her fault somehow. Something happened to him, and it was her fault. Did he fall? Black out? Drink too much?
“What did you do to me?” He repeated again, sounding on the verge of anger. Or tears. Whatever came first.

“I didn’t do anything!” Zia was still worked up, and tears were still making appearances although she had stopped bawling like she did earlier.
She turned the phone to Noah. “This was Nicolae, I swear!”
Noah’s brow was still knitted in confusion and skepticism, but he was knight. He knew about glamours and magic and while he didn’t know the ins and outs of purification, he knew it was possible that the Nega he was being shown very possibly could’ve been Nicolae as his civilian identity. Just, without him powering up into that form now the internal, magical walls that barred recognition stayed up.
“I don’t understand how he forgot the war…”
“I don’t understand either!” Zia sputtered and turned to stare at Nick, still looking like she was going to implode at any second. “Corruption ******** with your memories, purification probably does too? I just… It’s really inconvenient.”
She fiddled with her phone before addressing Nick, instead of just looking at him while blabbering. “You’re a knight,” She tried to explain from the top, even though Camelot had already told him that. “When you power down to your civilian form, people don’t recognize you, because of magic. And now that you’re a knight, and not on the dark side, I think your magic still protects you? Noah can do it too,” She glanced at Noah, giving clear body language he was supposed to demonstrate.
He just shook his head no and scowled.
This s**t was too weird.
