Her life was like a fairy tale mixed with a dash of adventure. She had chased ghosted, parlayed with a pirate, traveled Kawani, and had two amazing parents who supported her dream to be an adventurer. The only thing that she was missing from her tale was the twist of a love interest. It did not mean that she had not felt feelings toward others in the past, she had, but they were not the one she could see spending her life with. She was Aderyn yr Eira Duliisdi, daughter of a story teller and an exotic mare who for a short period of time became his muse. The dark colored mare stood on top of the hill of flowers, letting the wind filter through her wispy mane. What did the day have in store for her, how would her story continue? What part of her destiny would fulfil?
A giddy laugh escaped the mare, “The day is young and the true adventure has yet begun.” She ran down the hill, galloping at her top speed. She felt as if she was flying across the meadow and her heart soared, keeping pace with the gliding hawk moving gracefully in the clouds. Time seemed to have no meaning as she ran, her worries vanished, the sense of destiny was a thing of the past, and the urge to adventure diminished. As she ran she was in the moment and nothing else seemed to matter.
Finally after she had traveled a great distance did the mare slow to look around at her surroundings, she had left the flower covered hill and ran across a flat plain to come to a stop in front of a breathtaking lake with calm waters that reflected the sky. With slow awe filled steps the mare walked to the edge of the crystal clear waters of the lake and gazed upon her reflection before she took a drink of the cool refreshing liquid.

Damir had been watching from the tree line, relaxing in the shade from his afternoon nap. His days had been so boring, and lonely, more so than he cared to admit or think about. Bored bloody out of his mind, a red streak zooming over the plains he had camped next to was the first encounter he'd seen all day. Watching, ever silent, he smiled a little after the energy the red mare emanated. It was almost tangible, her energy.
He continued to watch, his curiosity keeping him well hidden in the tree line.

She continued to drink from the lake even though she felt a shiver go down her spine that signaled her brain that she was being watched. Carefully she scanned the area around the lake, nothing seemed to stick out to her; with a slight shrug she continued to drink the water and cool herself down after her long gallop across the plains. She really had to do that more often, the fun, the thrill of it was like nothing she had experienced walking.
Her pale grey eyes looked to the sky, a pang of longing shot through her heart. Oh how she wished to have wings like her mother. A story then came into her mind, one told to her by her father about the wingless soquili who wished to fly and so he commissioned wax wings. He did not listen to the warnings of the creator and flew close to the sun, melting his wings and crashing to earth.
Aderyn shook her head, she would not be as foolish as that, so that is why she ran and pretended that she could fly amongst the clouds.

Damir, feeling the ever more rude for intrusively watching this mare, decided the water looked good and he was incredibly thirsty. Not to make the mare feel intruded on either, he quietly made his way towards the lake, a far ways from where she stood, keeping his eyes down, walking lazily.Thalea >.> Adding fluff to a mute is difficult.

From her peripheral vision she watched as a white figure moved from the tree line and walked silently to a spot across the lake from her. Curious she looked up and spotted the stallion. His head was down and his long white hair cascaded down past his knees and barely brushed the earth. He was blindingly white, like freshly fallen snow upon a mountain peak. "Hello!" She called out in greeting, always happy to meet new people. For life was an adventure and she could not help but live it. Roman Foi I am curious as to how she is going to guess his name lol xD

Damir's head raised up in surprise. He hadn't been expecting her to speak to him, as most didn't really notice his presence. He blended in well that way. Just to be sure he looked about to see if she hadn't seen someone she recognized or knew. After a quick scope, it was clear they were alone. Blinking several times, he nodded, his jaw slightly down. Thalea >w> I might have that problem!! /excitement/ You'll see in my next post! /dances/

It was hard to tell, but she could have sworn she received the nod. The mare took that as the okay to come toward him. She continued the rest of the short distance between the two of them. A wide smile appeared on her countenance, "Hello! Lovely day we are having is it not? I am Aderyn yr Eira Duliisdi. What is your name?" The whole concept of do not talk to strangers was not ingrained into Aderyn's head, for her father talked to strangers all the time. And everyone was a stranger once, until that first greeting. Roman Foi This will be interesting haha!

Damir looked apologetic to the mare, smiling a little bashfully at her. He opened his mouth as if to speak, and made a point to make eye contact, then closed his mouth and shook his head no.
Just about then, a fluttering red blur flew between them and up into the air, singing a beautiful melody, before twirling and plummeting right back down, onto Damir's back. Hopping left and right to get a good line of sight on the mare before them, Eliron tweeted happily. "Hello, hello misses!"

Smiling, Damir turned his head just enough to smile at his little companion, then again at... what was her name again? It was so long he hadn't been sure she hadn't said her whole family.

The mare watched the stallion as he opened his mouth as if to speak and then closed it again with a shake of his head. Realization struck her in that moment that her companion could not speak. How was she to learn his name if he could not talk? Before she could finish that thought or even think of a way to guess his name, a bright red bird flew out of the sky and landed on the white stallion's back. A smile appeared on the mare's countenance as the bird sang its greeting, "Hello there, I am Aderyn. I was just introducing myself to your friend there. Might I inquire both your names?" She never had a friend before who could not talk, there were always times when they played the silent game, at which she always seemed to fail.
