Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus had come in for a landing near a stream. He was feeling a touch thirsty and had decided now was as good a time as any to get this dealt with. After all, he'd been bored today. No sight of anyone or anything to... interest him in anyway. Nothing on the ground caught his eyes either. He hadn't even spotted anything properly helpless to eat. What a boring day.
He trotted to the water's edge, and knelt to drink, lost in thought as he did so. Perhaps he should head back towards where those idiot 2 leggers lived. He might find more Soquili there, maybe a luscious little mare or 3, or a pretty boy... Hmmm yes this wasn't a bad idea. He could do that, and as he flew, he'd keep an eye out for anyone who looked likely, and preferably alone.

Semira had left her home lands some time ago with the intent of finding an interesting male to bring home to her sisters. Her mask she wore on a strap slung over her shoulder. It was something she only used when on duty or fighting. This sort of adventure had so far been peaceful and she'd begun to doubt the need to bring it along at all.
Unfortunately for her, all of the males she'd encountered so far had not been of the health or quality she preferred. Or they'd been too docile. While she appreciated a nice, docile male in the long run, she did quite enjoy the challenge presented by a real fireball.

Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus finished his drink and turned away from the stream. He pondered, and decided he'd walk for a bit, find a better clearing for him to take off in. This was an ok spot, but he prefered larger. Less chance of fouling his wings in the take off, less chance of getting injured.
Also he hated being grounded. Sure, wing injuries tended to lead to others being sympathetic and doing stuff for him, but he was no fan of discomfort at all.

When Semira passed the glade she caught sight of the stallion from the corner of her eye and did a double take. He was interesting in appearance, that much was for sure. And from the way he'd adorned himself she could guess that he took great pride in his appearance, something she valued highly in a stallion.
He was at least part gryph, and part something else. Kalona? That was most likely it. Nice tail feathers too. She smiled. Now just to figure out how to approach him.

Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus stops and stretches out his wings as he ponders the space he's currently in. Was it wide enough? Perhaps. He stretched out his whole wings, trying to get an idea of the full width of the glade. He wanted to be sure, after all.
When he was sure it was wide enough, he went back to the entrance, preparing for take off, nodding slightly.

Semira stepped out of the dark forest and into the light, giving her best smile. It was, admittedly, not the single most beautiful smile in all the lands, but she had never really been all that interested in going the extra mile in the pursuit of beauty. It was far more important to her to keep up with her training and keep her body strong. She was healthy, and that much showed through at even the smallest glance.
"Hello there," she said, trying to sound sweet. "It's strange to meet others of my own kind out this way."

Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus's head turns, and he looks a bit startled, not having known there was anyone nearby. He certainly hadn't spotted this mare when he was flying. "Ah... Oh! Oh hello there." He blinks at her, taking in her feathered hair, her clawed feet, and her tail. Finally he adds "Your kind? I assume you mean Hippogryph, since I have not any Cerynei blood in me?"

"We're both hippogryph halfbreeds, at the very least," she mused, stepping forward into the glade. "That's quite the wing span you have," she added, making a point of glancing up and down his body.

Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus grinned a little, pleased that he was being admired. "Indeed, that is true. And why thank you. I am pleased with my wings." He spreads them a bit so show them off, his head tilting in an invitation for her to have a full view.
"What brings you out this way, so far from everyone?" He asks as he semi poses. "I haven't seen anyone at all as I've flown..."

She walked closer, taking the full opportunity to get a real close look at him. After all, it wouldn't do to bring home a male who wasn't in his prime. She had her reputation to consider! He appeared to be in good condition... She circled around to the other side.
"Mmm... Just curious. You know? Spend so long in one place and you begin to wonder what sort of foreign delicacies you may find if you venture out a ways."

Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus watched her, a little bemused. He was not unused to being admired, but she was taking an unusually in-depth view, as far as he could tell. He wondered why she was examining him so closely. He just let it pass, in the end, figuring it'd come clear in time, and not minding being admired.
"Ahhh indeed. I am a wandered myself, always in search of.." He smirked just a little. "Foreign delicacies.""

She began walking slower as she came around to his front again. A bit full of himself, but he'd learn his place in time.
"Those are quite a powerful pair of wings, I've never seen any so... large," there in lay the only problem. He could fly where she couldn't follow. It would be tricky to lure him back without arousing any suspicion. "You must be a very skilled flyer."

Lady Aria Starstone Arcturus stretched himself slowly, and then grinned at her. "Oh yes, they're quite effective. It makes my life more interesting, as it gives me what I need to travel long distances." He ponders, and decides that he might see what he can get out of this mare.
"I can try and show you?" He 'snaps' his wings open, and lets one hit a tree. It looked a lot harder then it actually was, but that was fine. He could play it off. "Oh! Oh dried dung, that hurt!"

Semira's eyes shot wide, partly due to honest shock and concern, and partially for show.
"Oh!" she exclaimed. "I could hear that from here!" She made a show of wincing, "Are you alright?"
