Nevada stared blankly at the sky, it was so blue. So serene...so quiet. Even with all the training going on around her and the loud calls of the sun hunters, she felt a quiet peace with that around her.
She could even ignore the sun hunters rally...
she really could...
it wasn't like all of them were obnoxiously loud...
Except all of them really were....
God were they chanting Kokoro and and Feelings still.......
"ugh sun hunters..."

"'Ey, whats wrong with Sun hunters, KyoryuViolet?" A voice appeared, along with a face that was now blocking the sky from view. Yup, Milo was now standing overhead and a stupid smile plastered on his features as he stared down. "ZyuPink is one an' all ~" They were dating, weren't they? Or something.. or other.
Anyway. Hey look, he found a nickname for you Nevada! And a legit one too, all purple and girl. Thank you tokusatsu magazines. (Hopefully she was kick a**, he hadn't actually seen her in action but she seemed like it).

"KyoryuViolet?" She repeated the word and lifted her eye to meet Milo's, wondering why Sun hunters came up with their own language. She was pretty sure that type of nickname was Solomon and Dorian and Chelsea's thing too! "Oh are you calling me a purple ranger?" She laughed, pushing herself up. "Never seen one of those before, thought they stuck to the basic colors. White, Black, Green, Yellow, Blue, Red and Pink?"
She hesitated at the mention of Chelsea. "Haven't seen her for awhile to be honest, So I don't know if she's out there doing....sun things." She waited....
"Wanna spar?" She gave him a lazy smile, "Need to get a workout on before my next nap."

"Ya!" He replied enthusiastically, moving back to allow her some room to get to her feet. "Found out one of the newer series had a girl in purple, only other one I knew of was GekiViolet... and didn't think it right to nickname you after a dude." Nevada was too pretty to do that. And that thought got him to laugh a little nervously at himself and scratch his head.
The mention of Chelsea brought his mentality back, though a continued scratch at the nape of his neck while he looked skyward. "Guess we haven't crossed paths either, sure she's just a little busy, ya?" Everyone had their moments of extreme productivity.
"Would love to spar," Milo replied next with a wide grin, "haven't gotten to see you in action."

"I'd hate to be compared to a man but...At least I know I can be a badass Purple Power Ranger." She teased, smiling at him. "I hope the purple power ranger is pretty badass too as a girl."
"She is?" Nevada looked away, "I wouldn't know really since I came back from the outpost. It's been a hell of a time back-" She chuckled, "With a lot of feelings that are not mine involved."
She took a couple steps of back, stretching. Once done, she summoned Leroy and let the barrel of the gun scratch at the dirt. "I hope you don't mind being shot at." She brought it up, swinging it up to her shoulder and let the weapon sit there.
"I'll try not to disappoint you though."

"Haven't seen her in action, but she's got to be a badass being a power ranger, ya?" Milo smiled back cheekily as he too took a step back from her, giving the pair a nice bit of breathing room before their spar.
His lips thinned, though, for a moment at Nevada's response about Chelsea. Mostly just uncertainty if he wanted to delve into questions about feelings and why she was looking away. Instead, all he responded with was an awkward kind of shrug and was just thankful the conversation progressed back into their spar.
"Nah, don't mind at all. Gotta test reflexes and be ready for anything, ya?" His grin returned as he gave her weapon a good look over. Hadn't had the pleasure of sparring against a gun and oddly enough, even Koume seemed pretty intrigued. So, just as she showed him her's, Milo soon summoned the nagainata into his grip and spun her in a flourish as he usually did.

"Oh a spear?" She nodded to the weapon and started to circle. "Good mid range, extends your reach."
"So Milo, do you like anything else besides the power rangers?" She commented, firing a spray against his shield.

Getting pinged by bullets made Milo realize that, yes.. yes he had been shot at before. By Konstantin's weapon. Which could have been more of described as pummeled him. That had been a rather painful spar. All familiar now, but at least this was a series of smaller bursts than just like a laser cannon to the chest. Koume still didn't like it. And it still stung.
"An' the weapon of choice of a few awesome rangers," Milo replied once he recollected himself from her initial attack to attempt his own counter. And missed. Apparently, not calculating the range quite right.
And speaking of, to her next inquiry. "Well, the toku runs deep," he explained in a bemused manner, "but I'm not that single minded. I like stuff people think normal. Like running, surfin' and movies and stuff."

She nodded, avoiding his ranged attack and shooting back just in case.
"To....ku?" She stared at Milo with a blank expression...."Surfin'?" She squeaked, "Where did you leave that allowed you to do that?"
She laughed and shook her head, "I wouldn't have thought that anyways, You're handsome and sweet and encouraging, So you like power rangers....That puts you a level under Solomon and he's a giant manchild." She nodded.

Milo simply laughed, well at least got a good bit out before he suffered through another assault of bullets pinging against his shield, over her confusion over the word. "Toku's all those live action shows in Japan," he told her as he shifted his stance, drawing the blade of Koume's naginata behind him (trying to look very dramatic and cool), "there are a lot more then sentai, 'll have ta show you sometime." He smiled, taking a step forward only to pivot on the ball of his foot as soon as it touched ground to turn his body as force-ably in a neat circle with the blade swinging out along with at Nevada. He'd probably seen this in one of his shows at some point. Pretty sure.
Which was said to how he ended up after hitting her, with his back to her and the blade in front. Almost a mirror of how he started. (In his head, explosions might have been going off along with Koume yelling at him to stop messing around.) He turned back around then, facing the Mist again.
"Grew up on Hawaii," Milo explained next, "pretty choice waves there." All things easy enough to respond to and answer. The compliments made him feel oddly awkward, even thought they were nice words. And about something he strived to be, you know, a good guy and all. Just a little weird hearing it, perhaps. Made his smile grow more, though.

"Well I'm all about getting educated!" She laughed, "I'm not a big questioner though. If you've got time, maybe I can harass you in the next couple of days?" She smiled, "That is if you've got some dvds or something with you!"
She didn't understand why he was doing like odd twist and turns but when he finally did hit, (because wow just standing there confused to why he was doing what he was doing) it hurt a lot.
"Those are a lot of fancy moves for one big hit..." She teased, looking at the small scratch on her arm from where the nagita hit.
"Hawaii...." She stopped and thought fondly of her one trip there with Tuck. Good food, good beaches, great sex. Yeah. Hawaii.
"Oh Handsome," She softened, "You know just how to give a lady the compliments."
She rewarded him by shooting at his fear shield more.

Those fancy moves didn't help with getting out of the damn way or deflecting those bullets, however, and each one of them took a nice little dent from his shields. Then again, training against dummies didn't really help Milo work on cool looking sentai dodging techniques. So he took them, with a few winces and a big step back. "Don' see anythin' bad with addin' a little flair, ya?" The sun replied as he took one big step forward, swing his blade up behind him to bring it back down on Nevada.
"No DVDs yet, but Jerry mentioned Allan-taichou might have a way about gettin' some," he went on, "so, I'll giva ya a heads up when I do. We can have a party of it or somethin.'" Nothing said a good time to him than watching little kid shows.Quote: hp: 22/40 damage: 4 charge: 2/3

"Any of the life techs too would help you get them." Nevada grinned, "I've got a portable dvd player runic'd with a couple of disney movies that me and Stormy watch over and over again. Cost a fortune but I'd be willing to help!"
Her grin widened even more.
"I love parties! Make it a sleep over and you got a deal Handsome!"
She didn't warn him of her charge taking form, as it usually was lesser damage but sprayed plenty of bullets on his shield.

Wasn't like he really ever got a warning (not like he gave one himself, either) and like most it was rather painful, taking a significant chunk of his shielding away. It rippled, it spazzed for a moment and Milo almost fell backwards from the impact. Nevada was good and he was terrible at fighting against projectile weapons.
And Koume was making comments about it.
"Aa, its still good," not really. It was low and probably obviously so. And of course Milo was too gung-ho to want to stop. Going to keep going until the bitter end, the Sentai/Rider way! Course his counter attack couldn't reflect his inner spirit, his jab was a little weak and his form a little shaky from her onslaught of bullets.
Still, Milo held a playful smile on his face. "Just as long as you bring the popcorn, ya?" So now there was a little more to do to finally get his shows on island but at least things seemed promising. "Think they could help with downloadable stuff? "Still good?" She adjusted her shooter glasses, eyeing him carefully to make sure he wasn't lying. Sun's were also pushing the boundaries as far as limits.
She wouldn't disappoint him though, bringing up her gun to fire again.
"I can do that!" She laughed, "hmm I don't know, if you find the right lab tech. Maybe Dwight?"
Not Mark though.
