Erionda and her two Khehora companions continued to stand outside watching the snow fall. With Kioda there it was interesting how the world seemed to still remain relaxed. As if the energetic and somewhat upbeat Khehora could actually remain still. Had her own age finally started to mature her? She chuckled mentally with the thought. It was also strange that she had never heard the female speak of anyone she was interested in. Even if she did come around often.
Her mismatched eyes continued to follow Lanzecki around the tracks he was laying out in the snow. She could feel the love of running and jumping. Every now and then he would scoop up a mouthful of snow and leap away sideways from the place he had just snapped his jaw at.
"While I don't lay eggs." Erionda began. "You are still correct. I did in a way have a clutch. I gave birth to twins. A baby boy and a baby girl." Erionda was happy with her abilities as a mother, but she often felt disheartened as of late.

The Ysali Khehora nodded slowly. There was something different about the aura around Erionda. As if she had been mellowed out in some way. Maybe because she seemed better at seeking ways to calm her mind? Kioda was envious of the hybrids skills. Was it because she was a mother now? Or because she was so powerful? The silence still made her restless even in the extremely cold air. How could her companions remain so unchanged? They didn't seem as easily bothered by the snow. Not the way Lanzecki was running about, or the way Uassae stood by Erionda as if guarding her.
As Erionda spoke Kioda closed her eyes to listen. She had very little experience with the very young two leggers. Even though she had seen Erionda as an infant when her parents fled Serenia didn't mean she had seen any children since then. She wouldn't doubt Erionda would not want to show these 'twins' to her. She herself was a feral Khehora after all.
"You don't sound all that impressed. That or you're not satisfied with your place in life?" Kioda said at the break in Erionda's speech. Her eyes focused on the strange bug that had circled around already once before.
"What is this strange thing?"

Erionda gave Kioda a long hard look. For a feral Khehora she was oddly perceptive of the world around her. " You're probably right, I guess I've become a bit lonely. Not that I haven't always been. But with my children following my mate. I'm left alone."
Sighing as her eyes settled on the creature floating about Erionda extended her hands out to give the bug a soft place to land. The air filling with the tinkle of tiny crystal like wings pumping in the air. The Virana circled around the cupped hands but refused to land. Something about the way it moved and the soft sound it made, had a way of pulling a smile to the surface. It wasn't often she smiled anymore. Unless Lilith was about.
"And I don't really know what they are either. In all my time on Aisko I'm still learning what lives out here. These all seem just far to new for me."

Kioda heard a strange rumble from Uassae as Erionda spoke. Was her mood effecting him? She had heard of the strange way a bonded acted with it's bonder but this wasn't something she felt comfortable experiencing. Even the way Erionda spoke seemed to be heart breaking. The hybrid had known little love in a world of misery. Despite her hate for the blood thirsty birds, she had seen first hand how the two leggers tore one another down.
Focusing on the small creature hovering just out of Erionda's reach Kioda pushed forward with her muzzle. "I bet could catch it for you" Opening her mouth she closed it around the tiny snow bug. Shuddering a several sharp pains rushed across her tongue. Opening to let the creature out Kioda only felt a cold sensation melting on her tongue. Much to her horror she had killed the tiny bug.
"Or maybe I can't help you catch it." Kioda sheepishly whispered taking a step back.
