In a nutshell, he's a novel character who became the youngest company leader ever, I think something along the lines of being called the "Young King" by many because of this.
Personally I doubt it, the current sculpt, while old, is an excellent Goodwin sculpt that goes to show just how well he designed the current patterns of power armour.
So, for me a big fat effing NO, the mini has aged well in my honest and humblest of opinions.
