The Material Plane subforum is for roleplays set in the real, physical world. Real world training and missions belong here as well. If your roleplay takes place at Murmuring Pines Psychic Summer Camp, Majesco Psychic Academy, is set on campus, in Psychonaut Headquarters, your character's home, or anywhere on planet Earth, then you're in the right place!

The first post of any roleplay should include who is involved, characters and their players.
For training and missions, please include the objective; what power is being practiced, what is the goal of the mission, etc. If you want to run a course for training, please do so in the astral plane.
Please also include the location the roleplay is set. You may also want to include: what season is it, the time of day, the weather, or any other information you think is important to set the scene. REMEMBER: you are not restricted to roleplay on the camp or school grounds and can do so even in your character's hometown or anywhere else that is plausible. Please label accordingly.
➧ RULES
- ① Do not control or imply control over a character that does not belong to you without permission from the player.
② You must use dice roll mechanics for powers at all times. Dice rolls and usage rules differ between standard and unique powers.
③ Do not make your character aware of any information they could not personally know, such as from profiles. Please keep your in character (IC) and out of character (OOC) knowledge separate!
④ It is suggested to shoot for around five sentences in roleplay posts, but really just do your best to give your partner something they can actually react to -- whether that takes two sentences or two paragraphs!
⑤ Try to keep OOC chatter to a minimum in roleplay threads. Small comments in brackets (( such as what you're rolling for )) are fine, but major discussions should be kept elsewhere. We have an entire plotting subforum for you to make use of!

Invitation only roleplay with a small number of people.
[ORP] - Open RP
Open roleplay that anyone with an accepted character can jump into.
[CRP] - Class
Official roleplays with staff for growth requirements.
[TRP] - Training
Solo or invitation only roleplay with the purpose of practicing powers.
[MRP] - Mission
Solo, partner, or team based roleplays with assigned objectives.
[META] - Metaplot
Official roleplays with staff controlling an overarching story.
