Jalaja stretched, then groaned, then crossed her arms and huffed as she stood at the school gates. Ughhh, why did mama and papa have to send her to such a boring-looking place? The professors were probably all dull and stiff and no fun at all, and the students! She bet they were all just goody-two shoes who always went to class and always tried to suck up to the teacher, or something. No, this wasn't fun at all, and she didn't want to be here.
"Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, I want to go home."

"Oh Jala, if you didnt cause so much trouble, we wouldn't be here." Jiten brushed his hand briefly through Jala's hair to rearrange a strand from her horn. He pressed a kiss against her hair in an attempt to appease her, shaking his head.
"Just deal with it. I'm sure you'll find something good about this place. Just give it a chance, Jala."

"EW don't touch me." Planting a palm against his cheek, she shoved him away, and puffed her cheeks out. "And I'm not a little ghoul, I can take care of myself! You didn't have to come." Alas, she knew their parents wouldn't have approved of her coming her all by her lonesome self, but if they thought sending Ji was going to keep her out of trouble...
She put her hands on her hips and frowned once more at the ominous school before stalking back to her brother... and hopped on his back. "Ok, take me to my room."

Jiten dropped her. He leaned back and dropped her off his back.
"You said you can take care of yourself, right?"
No regret about dropping her.
"So don't hop onto my back cuz you're too heavy Jala." He scowled, turning around to pull painfully at Jala's cheek. "I've told you, I'm not cleaning up your ridiculous messes and doing your ridiculous whims here." Jiten was determined to start a new life, not his old one, according to Jala's whims.

She let out an "oof" as she was dropped to the ground, and winced as she rubbed her backside. "Ji, you jerk-OW!" She was no delicate rose, but even she had to admit Ji's pinches hurt.
Rubbing at her cheek, she scowled back at him. "Then go HOME! I never wanted you here, you stupid... stupid..." She sniffed, and pulled her knees up to her chest, burying her face in them.

"Ok. I'm heading off to my new dorm now then." Jiten walked ahead of the fallen Jala, waving his hand in a good-bye. "I know it didn't hurt that much so fake tears isn't going to take your anywhere, ok, sis?"
He picked up her bags, the action natural to him, as he headed roughly in the direction of the monster dorms.
He could deal with being a stupid jerk, as long as Jala learned something out of the process. He did remember her room number though, to drop off her stuff.

It was no fun when he didn't play along, and she only lifted her head when she no longer heard his footsteps. Stupid Ji. Why did he have to come too?
Dusting herself off, she stretched, letting out a groan. Oh well, at least she could make the best out of it and do some exploring, and maybe it wouldn't be so bad here. At least mama and papa wouldn't nag her about everything, and she had her own room too! That was kinda a bonus.
Unfortunately for Jiten, the only thing she'd proabably learn were new ways to get on his nerves, as the old ones clearly weren't working, but for now, having found her room, and somewhat pleased he at least brought her stuff, she threw herself into a big pile of pillows face-first. Unpacking could come later.

"Jala, I'm heading off to my room!" He called out, dumping her stuff in the open doorway. He was looking forward to his room and didnt tell Jala his room number, although she would find it soon enough. Jiten just wanted peace and time to roam the school for a bit-- He might as well take advantage of Jala's exhaustion.

Hearing his voice, she only gave a muffled reply, which probably was just some sound of acknowledgment he was there. She waited until she heard him starting to walk away, and then got up, frowning at the pile of stuff. Stupid Ji. Not only did he humiliate her, but he dumped all his stuff in front of her door. He could have at LEAST brought it in... and unpacked it, and do a proper role of a brother, but no. Well, if he thought she was letting him have things go his own way, he was sorely mistaken. If she had to suffer, then so did he.
And so, pushing her stuff aside, she snuck out the door, looking around to see which way he had went. They were in the same dorm, so his room couldn't be TOO hard to find.
