"Ah, man! It was so close!" Henry gave a dramatic little exclamation before picking up another apricorn and threw it a few yard in front of him. "Okay, lets see if we can get it this time, Aggron!" The boy was obviously playing a game with some invisible friends of his. They seemed to be the only ones he could make, unfortunately. He held his breath for a few minutes, acting out his anticipation before giving a spontaneous shout of delight. "Yeah! Caught one! Just another member of the family now! Good job, Aggron. You did such a great job," he reached out his hand to pet his imaginary friend's belly as a sign of praise. He was playing on the outskirts of the city after an afternoon of exploring Katarina.

Henry seemed to be picking up his apricorn, completely unaware of the oncoming attack until it was to late. At the last moment he saw a flash of black and orange and then the boy was on his back. "Oomph," he huffed from getting the wind knocked out of him. Initially he was frightened. He had never seen a houndoom before, but eventually he came to realize that this was a friendly greeting. Well, friendly enough. It's not like he was bitten or anything. "Oh, hello there!" the boy laughed and tried to sit up but goodness was this pokemon persistent, and Henry didn't exactly want to push it away. He adored the affection. "Are you wild? No, can't be... goodness, are you lost? You and your little Charmander buddy?" Yes, Henry had seen one of these before. To his understanding they were particularly rare to come across. "I bet your owner are worried sick about you." Little did he know their trainer wasn't far behind them.

By the time Zak had made it to the boy the Houndoom was lapping it's slobbery tongue at his face. Laughter was drawn out from Henry's lungs as he tried to block the kisses with his arms, only to be overwhelmed and overpowered by the affection. Finally, the older boy dragged his companion away with the help of a verbal command and Henry sat up, still giggling. "That's okay. I'm fine, really I am." The boy glanced up at the boy, his eyes scanning over him- forever observing everything. He seemed a bit older than Henry but not by much. He grabbed the boy's hand once it was offered, dragging himself up off the ground. "These are all your pokemon? Wow... you have an awful lot. Are you like a trainer or something? I'm Henry by the way. Henry Elliott." He assumed Zak wasn't from around here on account of having never seen him before. Henry would have given his full attention to the man but his keen interest in pokemon had him crouching down to observe the charmander, smiling at it wildly because that chatter of his was so fascinating.

Green eyes were constantly flicking from one pokemon to the other as they continued to fill with joy and bliss. He had never been surrounded by so many unique species before and it was overhwhelming him with a sense of happiness to be in their presence, let along petting them. The moment he offered the Charmander it was obvious how much of a shock it was to the curly haired boy. "I'll be super careful," he muttered softly as he reached out and ever so carefully took the tiny lizard pokemon into his arms. The reason his voice was so small now was due to his amazement and not wanting to frighten the creature he was now holding.

Henry's smile was overpowering everything else in that moment. When Zeke knelt down Henry's sparkly green eyes observed the other's. It wasn't often other kids played with him or showed him things like this. Let alone cool older kids with amazing pokemon. "Zak- Zaki-...Za...." he fumbled over pronouncing the name but it never seemed to fall from his lips right. "Zak! Got it. I'm Henry. Henry Elliott and I live here in Katarina." It seemed like Zak knew exactly what the younger enjoyed most already and began naming off the pokemon he was staring so hard at. "Oh, heh- I very much would like that, yes I would." Henry began to stroke over the top of the lizards head as he held him close to his chest, being weary of his tail. "I've never heard of a Dra... a Dragon-something before. What kind of pokemon is that?" The boy was still learning of course, but one day he planned on learning them all. Henry was already quite fond of this kind stranger, and it showed with how the boy would shuffle closer to him every now and then.

They seemed like some sort of comedy act. Pokemon attacking each other in a 'playful' manner. At least that's what Henry had decided the Seadra was trying to do. The young boy of fifteen wouldn't have believed that two pokemon on the same team could ever be enemies. Had they been his own he would have placed them both in a room and not permitted them to leave until they were buddies. Then again, that might have been a recipe for disaster as well.

"Oh, your Seadra is amaz- Gah!" Henry was cut off by a shrill screech. It was dragged from his lung on pure instinct as he felt a long serpent like body wrap around him. At first he was a bit weary of the beast but as it constricted him gently the curly haired kid melted at the affection. "Aww, I love Dragonairs!" Yes, this was his new realization as he continued to smother the creature.

"So you go on all sorts of adventures with your pokemon? You're so lucky... If I had the money I would go on adventures too!" His mother was struggling as it was though. If only the boy had a means of making cash his own way to help out. He'd do just about anything to give his mother a comfortable life.
