It was a protective sachet for a close friend of mine that just got a dangerous job. It contained: marigold, lavender, hyssop, dried elderberries, a piece of black tourmaline, an amethyst point, black obsidian and a polished bloodstone for quick thinking!
I tied it in a white organza drawstring bag and then again in a small burlap one.
I'm quite proud and pleased with the end result and it fits perfectly into the pocket on the front of his bullet-proof vest.

Sanguina Cruenta Cool! care to share why you chose each of those ingredients? ^_^ Marigold, Hyssop and elder berries I all chose for their protective properties. I happened to know he loves the scent of lavender so I added quite a bit of that because it's something I associate with him and since he'd be carrying it around in his clothing, to make it smell nice.
Black tourmaline, obsidian and amethyst for their protective properties as well and the blood stone to help in "here and now" decision making, because he will have to be doing a lot of that and one wrong choice can mean the difference between life and death.

I hope your friend likes it. 3nodding
I love making little sachets of herbs and crystals to help in certain situations, especially if I'm making them for friends or occasionally, family. I've found they're a neat way to help focus one's intent and energy and no two are ever really the same.

I've never made a sachet sweatdrop
I think if I did, I would embroider something on the outside. Maybe a bindrune or something. 3nodding I like working with thread.

Thorns and Spices I've never made a sachet sweatdrop I think if I did, I would embroider something on the outside. Maybe a bindrune or something. 3nodding I like working with thread. I've done something similar before. It's a fantastic way to concentrate energy and intent. Especially if you like working with thread. smile
