 Winter isn't all about ice and cold weather. It's also about playing outdoors, whether having a good old snowball fight, ice skating, or other fun games. It's about snuggling up in blankets with a good book, chatting with friends by the fire, or relaxing with some hot cocoa. While living in this northern realm may require some work before the fun can begin, it can be very rewarding as well.

  Katerina is regal, but polite, and comforting. She has a steady head on her shoulders and doesn't get angry easily, nor does she rush to judgement. She has a matriarchal yet motherly personality and does her best to protect her followers and treat them right. While her realm is cold and snow-covered, she does her best to make sure there are comforts and ease for anyone who resides there, even if they may not be suited or used to the cold.
While many may assume a deity over Winter would be a harsh mistress, unable to show warmth and kindness, that's just not the case. She is able to be stern to wayward followers if absolutely necessary, but she is not a malicious entity. However, if anyone were to threaten her or her people and not listen to reason, as a last resort she would not hesitate to bring down a frozen wrath upon them to the best of her ability.

 (map coming soon) Far to the north of the Pockettu world, is the Realm of Katerina, the Goddess of Winter. While usually cold and snowy it nonetheless has an inviting feel and is often referred to as a Winter Wonderland. Beautiful pine forests, lush with wildlife, grace gently rolling hills. A river cuts through the landscape, wending its way from the northern mountains. It widens to turn into a large lake before narrowing again and resuming its course south.
If you start from the furthest southern fringes of her realm and head north, outlying abodes start to appear; Pockettu who prefer the sparse, quiet wilderness mostly. Any paths that do appear are generally traversed by sleigh or sled more often than cart, being an easier travel method in this neck of the woods most of the year. As you get further north, more homes and communities start dotting the landscape and more well-traveled roads start to appear the closer you get to the heart of the realm.
Eventually you will see the city - walled and nestled against against the majestic mountains. But what truly stands out is the castle behind the city - seemingly carved out of the icy mountains themselves; here is where Katerina and those closest to her reside. The castle is not, however, some grandiose statement of power or wealth; instead if serves as not only a home for her and many others, but a place for those who need aid, and a place of protection as well, either for individuals or in case of a more general threat towards the kingdom. Those who live within the castle are not pampered elite; all do their part towards its upkeep or helping around the rest of the kingdom instead.

Arctic foxes are Katerina's unique limited. They're friendly and playful for the most part, though there are always exceptions, and many are a bit on the mischievous side. No matter what, though, Katerina expects them to help and protect the people of their Winter realm. So while they're likely to play a lot, and may not seem very attentive sometimes, they can be very serious if the need arises.
Arctic Foxes also have the innate ability to blend in with their surroundings (including their scarves). So no matter how brightly colored they are, they can blend into their natural habitat easily. This does not typically apply to areas outside of their home, however, as their power is gained from the snow and cold of Katerina's realm. They can sometimes manage it if another land is particularly cold and snowy at the time, but it's harder for them to maintain it if they aren't in the Winter Realm. It is also only meant for their natural surroundings; fir and pine trees, rocks and of course, snow. If they were in a snow-covered city, for example, they wouldn't be able to blend in with artificial constructions at all.

 Do you have Pockettu who would be a good fit to follow Katerina? If so, use the form below and post in this thread. Keep in mind the following things:
* Katerina is a GOOD-aligned goddess. Mischievous types are okay to follow her, but no one who is inherently evil should be applying~
* They don't have to be wintry types! Anyone who doesn't mind some cold weather and snow in the pursuit of a happy life can join up. Pockettu of all types, everything from fishermen to merchants to carpenters and everything in between, live in her realm.
* While it's okay to have Christmas-y Pockettu follow her, don't focus on that aspect in your reasoning to join. While she does like to hold some winter festivals, and is definitely not against gift-giving, she doesn't tend to focus on such mainstream holidays. xD

 As Katerina is a new Goddess to the Pockettu world, she does not yet know the other gods very well, and of yet, has very few opinions, bad or good, on them. As she gains more information on them, this may change, but for now, she will let her followers mingle with any other gods' followers. The only exception is the Cursed; as open-minded as she is, she still cannot condone relationships of this type.

 Katerina is not really the type to create a harem. However, while she would likely have more than one love interest over the course of time, though not a crazy amount, she is not the type to love them and leave them, either, so she would still likely keep romantic interest in past lovers even if she finds someone new. If a Pockettu wants to enter a relationship with her eventually, they must be understanding about this. It also works the other way around; if she finds love with someone, she does not mind if they have had past relationships, or have future ones as well. Also, Katerina is straight, so would only be interested in male Pockettu.
If you are interested in having your Pockettu pursue a romantic relationship with her, I am up for RP. She is not generally prone to falling in love quickly, but it can happen; though usually only if she is very impressed with them for some reason.
