Shika was trotting about on this nice day as she is still looking for clues to her past and about her breed. This time away from her adoptive family Shadow and Tsumetai makes her feel lonely but pushing through that to continue and finish what she sat out to do is something that she is set on. Stopping at a river as she gets a drink. Her eyes lock on something that looks like the sun. While drinking she finishes with one last swallow. Standing up straight as she then trots towards this thing that looks like the sun. Once closer she sees that it is a colt. One of her breed. Oh maybe his family or even he would know something about her. Filled with joy she prances towards the young one. "Hello there." She said in a cheerful way.

Looking at the young one closer. He really did have the color of the sun on him. Oh cute she thought. After all this young colt was just to cute to the point she wouldn't mind adopting him. She looks around not seeing his parents or family. "Are you alone?"

Shika looking at the young foal. "Well you shouldn't be all alone at your age. Where is your family? Or friends? Maybe even a baby sitter?" She wonders a bit as as she heard him ask if she was alone. "Yea I am alone for right now. My adoptive family is back at our home but I am looking for answers to my past. I am unsure if I belonged to a herd and if any of them are still alive and maybe looking for me." Smiling as she can't help but think that this young colt will be a fine stallion one day. "Yea it can be dangerous to be out wandering about and all alone. Well young one I am Shika-Nijiiro but you may call me Shika. And sticking together sounds like a wonderful idea. It is also wonderful to meet you Liam."

Thinking to herself that this young colt was just too cute. One day she wished to be either a baby-sitter or mother. So befriending a young colt is sure a nice feeling. He was the first colt well foal she has ever met so this was a nice change but she knows that he wouldn't hold any answers to her past. But that was fine. She gets to meet a new friend and that is much better then learning of a past that might be painful.
