It had been a long time since Ajax had seen his little ride. He had come to the woods where he had met his pidgey friend often but he had never seen the bird Pokemon since. But here he was again. Ajax had the day off so he was able come to the woods again in hopes that he would find Zephyr. How was he going to help the bird grow stronger and faster with training if he did not see him again?
He had come alone but he knew his group was still close by. Maybe this time he would introduce his special find to his group. Though he was still no sure he was ready to share his special ride. Maybe he would to Ura. She would love a flight but not the the other boys and Zephyr would be waisted on Caileen.

Zephyr walked around the forest and sighed as he picked up a silver chain. "I guess I really will have to get a new place. I don't have enough space in the tree anymore..." He began whistling as he walked still trying to get used to having legs.

Ajax sighed not having found any sign of his friend yet. Though he jumped a bit hearing the a jingling of a chain. He tensed a bit and wondering if maybe it was a poacher of some kind though that might have gotten his friend. He sighed and suddenly filled with anger ran forward to find this bad person who hunted down his dear friend. He was going to give that person a piece of his mind for hunting here!

Zephyr smiled decided to sit at the base of a tree to eat. His thoughts drifted to Ajax and began to feel guilty with how long he hadn't seen him. Would he be mad?

Ajax saw the large man sitting at the end of a tree. He sighed a bit what a strange looking guy he was. He was clearly a Poke-human so was he hunting Pokemon? He sighed and moved to hide in a bush. He tried to sound big when he spoke, "What are you doing here? Hunting Pokemon for your dress?"

Zephyr paused as he heard the voice and looked around. "I'm not a hunter of pokemon. I live here. If anything I'm a hunter of shiny objects like necklaces and rings and stuff. Now who and where are you? You sound familiar." He was a little worried now. He didn't want to get in a fight with anyone. Especially over a misunderstanding.

Ajax smirked, "So you say. But who knows if that is fully true. You have scared off maybe fine Pokemon who used to live here by your presence." he said and sighed. The voice sounded similar but it was speaking english and not the typical Pokemon speak. He shook his head he was just reading too much into things. But then again he was no stranger to Pokemon becoming human. But there was nothing special about this feathered man that could mean it was his little ride and even if it was he could not red on this child's back like he would have the Pidgey he had befriended. That and it would not make much difference any more.
He sighed though not wanting to really start a fight when he was alone. "As for who I am, my name is Ajax and trust me if you are lying to me I will hunt you down!"

Zephyr frowned as Ajax spoke feeling more and more chastised and guilty for this new form. When Ajax finally gave his name the young Pidgey tried to smile. "We've met before. I'm the Pidgey that let you ride on his back. I'm Zephyr. I didn't recognize myself either at first. I'm still trying to get used to this."

Ajax raised a brow not looking convinced when the other fellow spoke about them meeting before. He rolled his eyes but then stopped and looked at him his eyes slowly growing wide as it started to dawn on him, "You found a star didn't you. Oh my god I am so sorry Zephyr. I seemed so rude."
He sighed, "Man you really did change so much. I am sorry yeah it is hard to get used to hands. But I must say you lucked out in the growth. Though I could hardly recognize you."

"It is alright. I don't think we ever told you where we lived." he gave a laugh and looked over his tall friend. "So can you still fly around now that you have changed? Though I guess the training with me won't be needed. I would make much of a weight difference to you now...though if you still wanted to train to get faster like that I do know someone larger but I think she would be way to large for you."
He sighed so much for the training, and he had been so looking forward to it. But maybe he would just have to find another flying type to train. Maybe tame a wild Pidgey and make sure it never found a star.

Zephyr looked down, "Yes I can fly, you are disappointed aren't you?" Zephyr sighed as he sat down, "I'm sorry, Ajax... the star was in my shinies one day. I didn't know it would change me."

Ajax shook his head, "No I am not really that disappointed. I mean I can't really ride you now like I could. So it is not as fun. But it is good that you have found a star and are able to grow like this. There are so many pluses to being part human. So you should enjoy it." he smiled and looked over him, "Don't look so down. It is a good change. You are going to be popular with the young ladies that are also changed like us."
He grinned brightly at that. "i mean at least you shall be able to enjoy a lady. I don't get so much of a chance to date anyone being so small. So you should embrace it the change did you well."

Zephyr tilted his head confused, "What do you mean about the ladies? What do you mean?" He shuffled his feet as he looked at his little friend. "We are still friends right? I still want to be, if that's okay."

"Oh simple enough, for a kid your nice and tall and your handsome so I am sure the girls will want to be close to you. I mean unless your tastes run to the fellas then I am sure they will be just as equally wanting to be your friend and get to know you." he looked at his friend's confused face and sighed, "Ah yes sorry...your still a kid huh? Um...well forget what I said until your a bit older. Then you will understand what I mean by the ladies and the men. I guess it really is too soon to talk to you about the Pidgeies and Beedrills." he waved his hand in front of himself as if to dismiss the conversation.
"Yeah we are still friends. Sorry if I worried you a bit ago. I was just really upset that some human had frightened away my little friend here. But it turns out he is not missing just changed so of course we are still friends." he grinned at the larger male and gave his shin a pat.
