"Tell me everything you know about Shinju Mizushima!"
"Hmm," the officer hummed. "How about you tell me about yourself? I must say, for a girl with a vendetta, you're cute when you're angry."
"Rragh!"
Lennyka's fist banged onto the table, causing both of their cups of coffee to hop in place. For the passed half hour, the man known as Osmond Willis had been running her in circles with flirts and hadn't once taken her a step closer to finding more about the Galactic grunt known as Cetus. Her other hand, curled around the grip of a gun with her index on the trigger, pressed firmer onto the man's knee under the table.
"Keep up these games and I'll blow your knee out!" she warned in a harsh whisper.
Osmond chuckled. "Go right ahead," he returned. "As long as you don't aim four inches to the left, you can do anything to me."
"Y-You!" Lennyka couldn't help an angered blush. "What're you playing me for? A fool? Why won't you say anything? I know you know her! I do!"
Osmond rested his elbow onto the table and held his head up with his hand. "Yes, I do know her," he replied. "What my relation to her is something I won't say, but I do. What I want to know is why are you interested in her?"
"That's... confidential," Lennyka grimly replied.
"Then what I know is too."

Lennyka slapped her face with her open palm. "What... What do I have to do to have you tell me?"
Osmond clutched his chin in thought and grinned wryly. "I can list a few things," he replied.
"N-N-N-Nothing sexual!" she quickly added. "Or illegal!"
"Damn..." Osmond's head hung from his shoulders. "That wittles down my list to one."
Lennyka narrowed her eyes at him. "And what is that?" she questioned.
The officer's face grew serious. "Tell me who you are and why you want to meet Shinju."
Lennyka sucked her teeth and looked aside. "I told you, that information is confidential." "And as I said before, what I know is confidential until you start talking. So are will you or won't you? Of course, I am willing to speak if you'd like something else-"
Lennyka clamped a hand over his mouth and silenced him. "Okay... I'll talk," she said with a sigh. "S-So listen carefully, I won't repeat myself!"

So, like the drone of a vacuum, Lennyka spun the most intricate story she should come up with. "I'm an orphan from Hoenn... My parents died in a fire and, because I had no relatives, I had no where to go. I wandered from region to region looking for some kind of purpose, and I became a hero to those who had nothing. I heard about Shinju's story and wanted to exact the revenge of those lives who suffered under her falling. She would not go down without knowing the pain of the lives she left to wallow in filth!"
"Hmm..." Osmond thought aloud. "That's... That's a load of BS, isn't it?"
Lennyka flushed. "You've got to be..." she began, but concentrated on Osmond again. "You read the book, didn't you?"
"Saw the movie," he corrected her. "But nice try."
This time, Lennyka's head hung. Gritting her teeth slightly, she sighed next, and admitted, "Look, I know you want to know about me... But I can't tell you anything. I just can't. You're a police officer... Heck, pulling a gun on you is enough to land me in jail for a good number of years, let along mortally injuring you. Would it appease you to know my name is Lennyka? By no means, it is not a common name and knowing it is better than nothing. Does that work?"
Osmond smiled lightly. Lennyka reminded him of a younger Cetus. Slightly. "Yea, that works for me," he replied. "I'll just run that name through the precinct's database later. So what do you want to know about her?"
Lennyka swallowed. She had forgotten that the police had a record on her. "I... Uh, erhrmm." She cleared her throat. "Where does she live?"

"With me."
Lennyka rolled her eyes for the umpteenth time. "That doesn't answer my question."
Osmond's lips slanted to the side. "Technically, it does."
"Where!" Lennyka nearly shouted. Suddenly, Lennyka ripped the gun away from his knee. Her anger and adrenaline shot her to standing and her chair clattered back as she pointed the gun straight at his face. "You've been testing my patience for far too long, Mr. Willis. Where is she?"
Osmond flattened his open palms to her and leaned back a bit. "Whoa, whoa," he pleaded, his eyes glancing around to the people about her. The coffee shop had gone quiet at her overreaction and most gazed in horror at her firearm. "Calm down, Lennyka... We don't... We don't need any trouble, okay? I'll tell you where she is... Just put that thing down."
It was far too late, though. Someone screamed, phones were flipped open, and a dozen brave individuals dived onto her.

Lennyka screamed at the top of her lungs for the many bodies to get off her of. When they wouldn't budge, the teal-haired woman resorted to kicking and screaming until she was physically restrained by two men. As they held her, one of them dug his nails into the curve of her wrist, causing her to drop the firearm. A woman stood before her, one hand to her hip as she jabbed a finger to the center of Lennyka's chest.
"What the hell, lady?" the woman shouted at her. "Are you asking for trouble?"
"Trouble?" Lennyka glared. "Prepare... for trouble."
"What?" The woman and the two men blinked at her utterance. Suddenly, using the strength in both of her arms, she tripped the men up and collided their faces together. Wringing her arms loose from them, she jumped backward onto a free coffee table and injected her finger at the stunned group. Suddenly, as if she were awaiting her cue, Daffodil popped from her Pokeball and stood alongside Lennyka, mirroring her stance.
"Err..." Lennyka glanced at her with a blink. "And make it double!"
Winding a hand up in the air, she proclaimed, "To infect the world with devastation! To unite all peoples within our nation!"
Fist pumping the other, she continued, "To denounce the goodness of truth and love! To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Lennyka!"
"Rai, rai!"
The agent scratched the back of her head when she realized Daffodil was also getting into it. "Aha... W-We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and all night! Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
The people of the coffee shop were drawn to silence and the entire mass sweat-dropped. Suddenly, a few whispers filled the void.
"Is this some kind of performance show?" someone asked.
"What in the world?" another questioned.
Osmond face-palmed and sighed. What the hell was she doing?
Lennyka grimaced. "Just... Just roll with me here," she told the people. "Asking all of these questions just ruins the moment, y'know..."

The woman from before spread her arms out in questioning. "Are you stupid?" she woman barked. "We're not here to play games; you just pulled a gun on that man!"
"I-I know," Lennyka sighed. "But in the anime, Team Rocket always does stupid stuff and gets away with it... It's never even questioned. Listen, just to keep the plot of my creator's solo roleplay going, play along!"
There was another mutter of whispers across the group of people.
"Anime?" someone asked.
"Creator?" said another.
The woman curled her her hand into a fist and banged it on the table beside her, quieting the crescendo of voices. "You're just crazy!" she shouted, then turned to Osmond. "Aren't you an officer? She had a gun! Arrest her!"
Osmond held both of his hands up and sweat-dropped. "Off duty," he informed her.
"Hmmph!" the woman harrumphed. "To not even rely on cops... Get her!"
The same bodies that crushed the teal-haired Rocket agent launched at her again. This time, the agent had the upper hand and managed to make a diving roll over them. Daffodil blinked to her trainer in fright as she became the prime target of their attack. Defensively, the Electric-type used a Thunder Wave, and managed to paralyze them to make her escape. Osmond rose to standing, his arm outstretched, as Lennyka and her Raichu made their escape. Flopping back into his chair, he wasn't sure if he should report the mishap to the precinct or not. Moreover, he wondered what was to happen between Lennyka and Cetus.
To think I have kinship with thieves... he sighed to himself. What have I gotten myself into?

Osmond kept his lips shut and not once mentioned he was at the coffee shop incident. Unfortunately, the very same woman who tried to stop the Rocket agent came forward with complaints and the officer got an indefinite suspension from the precinct. Forced to stay in his dingy apartment until the chief crooked his finger for him to return, Osmond ended up drinking and stuffing himself full until they did.
One evening, as he was passed out on his couch, his cell phone vibrated on his side. Slowly, his eyes cracked open and he moaned from the pain radiating across his temple. Sliding a hand into his pocket, he licked his chapped lips and flipped the mobile open.
Who's messaging me so early... he thought to himself, striking off that it couldn't be Cetus because they had lessened their contact of each other or the precinct because it would be an official call.
"Meet me at Hotel Morning. Len," it read.
Not evening questioning how or why she managed to get his number, he replied, "Fine."
