Full Name: [Sawenah] Nicknames: [???] Race: [Earthling: Wind/Alkidike/Shifter] Gender: [Female] Role: [???] Age: [Prentice] Date of Birth: [???]
Religion: []
Political Affiliation: []
3 Base Traits: [- Expressive – Good Natured - Disciplined]
Personality: [Sawenah is an expressive, good-natured soul who is working on becoming more disciplined. She is very eager to one day become a Rider and receive her mount.

Sawenah is a very expressive individual. She is very affectionate and responds well to affection given to her, she loves surprises and will often accept last minute invitations to promising events; especially if she is evading boring and repetitive tasks. However her expressiveness goes both ways… the power of her feelings is difficult for her to control and occasionally unleashes itself through outbursts of temper. This usually happens when she is provoked by someone or something known to bother her.

Despite her occasional outbursts of anger, Sawenah is a very good-natured person. In general, she is happy and wants those around her to be happy as well. She usually uses her sense of humor to cheer up others. Sawenah strives to inspire others to achieve their goals and is always eager to help in any way possible; even at the inconvenience of her own goals. However he generosity is so freely given that it is often taken advantage of.

‘Discipline will make you a great warrior someday.’

This is what Sawenah is always told, and though she strives for it, her other qualities tend to stand in the way. Her training requires repetition and it is well known that she hates repetitive tasks, on top of that her mentor demands perfection of her to advance her training; which leads her to train a lot. She also is not very practical with money. She sees it as something to be spent and rarely saves it; unless, of course, there is something that catches her eyes, requiring her to save.]

Her clothing is going to be similar to the people of the ice tribe due to the fact she will be moving there. She desires to have a raptrix as her mount when she becomes a Rider, and there is no better place to get a raptrix than Secer.

Accessories: [Goggles: her goggles are very important when she is riding her Raptrix. They keep the wind from her eyes, giving her a clear sight of the land around her. They also adjust to protect her sensitive eyes from the sunlight. The lenses can be switched out for curved seeing lenses because over her lifetime she will develop far sightedness.]

Weapons (if any): [Spears/Lance]

History: [Abandoned as a child, she traveled with a caravan of Wind traders for a while, until she met up with a friendly village in Jauhar. The families took turns watching after her and housing her until the Alkidike began invading them; then it turned into every man for himself.

One day a group of traveling mercenaries came to the village to help bring the peace to the area, or better understand what is going on with the Alkidike in the area, and why they decided they have to invade. This is where she met Gaddok Dragol, and sort of became attached to him as an older brother/ father figure. Watching him in battle inspired her to take the steps necessary to pursue her dreams of becoming a rider.
(Still working on this. Welcome Feedback/Ideas to better help me develop her history.)]

A few things here to start off with and then more questions to come. Because this is an Alkidike mixed character with multiple lineages, it will be more questioning and really pinning her down and making her believable before I let her loose in the world lol

We'll start easy and then move to the harder parts:

She's very interesting looking, but I have a slight problem with her eyes. Alkidike have bug-like eyes mainly because their pupils are so large they only appear to have black. Having earthling lineage would not really cause her to have black sclera and a paler iris, since the Alkidike don't really cary those traits themselves (if that makes sense. It would be like having her have a double ring of irises) Her eyes could be Alkidike in appearance and have a gray color, or some other variation of some sort of alteration of the genetics.

The rest of her looks are cute and ok with me generally speaking.

I'm assuming her crystal colors are a mix of the shifter and wind mix she has in her?

Now to the harder stuff. Her being the mix that she is I have to ask what her full story is? I know she was abandoned and found as a child, but when did that happen? When she was a baby or a younger child? Does she remember her parents?

Who were her parents in actuality? How did they meet, what was their story, and their full lineage? Is she half of one and quarters of the other? Why did they abandon her? Basically can you just go into more detail about her beginnings and her parents? The looks she has makes me think that she is more earthling than she is Alkidike.

And then after this I'll go with a second round of questions :]

Yush!

Quote:

I know she was abandoned and found as a child, but when did that happen?

When she was an infant; literally days after she was birthed.

Quote:
Does she remember her parents?

No, Her mother was ½Alkidike ½Wind who happened to be born with assumingly Nonfunctioning reproductive organs
She has a v****a.

Lela was the lovechild of her mother, Lelani (Full Alkidike) and her love interest, Lilah (Wind Female) Lelani was forbade to see Lilah, but her love only grew the longer they were apart. She was gifted a child whom closely resembled her and her lover, however this child had parts alkidikes didn’t. She kept the child despite the scrutiny of her fellow alkidike, and though there was skepticism the child grew and adapted well to the alkidike life, and they began to accept her (Tolerate her?) in their society.

Lela became a seamstress/weaver and created clothing, blankets, Useful things, which she traded with the neighboring villages in Jauhar.

The war between her people and the Shifters made things in Jauhar hostile. It was increasingly hard for her to trade, but she loved it; loved the travel, meeting people, seeing how her craft brought joy to so many.

She came across Shifter resistance, who forced themselves on her. She resisted, of course, and though she was well trained in combat the Shifters had the upper hand. When the incident was over, Lela fled to a village she frequented and sought refuge, which she was granted. They were deeply saddened by her predicament, but what was done was done. When she was well again, Lela returned home, and stayed there.

Lela became very ill; stomach pain, vomiting, nausea. Her own kind alienated her for fear of contamination, and it wasn’t until several months down the road her mother learned she was pregnant. Fearing for her childs’ safety, and that of the unborn abomination in her stomach, Lelani traveled with her daughter(Lela) to the tribe of her lover(Lilah).

Lela served out her pregnancy there with Lelani and Lilah at her side when she brought Sewenah into this world. Lela did not live through the delivery due to expected complications. Lela knew that her fate was foreseeably sealed while carrying the child, but the fact that she was able to brought her such joy she did not want to abort.

Lilah had started a life away from Lelani, so she could not take her grandchild. She wasn’t even aware she had a child with Lelani until they showed up in her village. Lelani could not bear the sight of the creature that took her daughters’ life, but did not have the heart to take its life. Lelani found a basket, and wrapped her in a blanket Lela had made, then wrote her name on a slip of paper and left her in at the foot of a statue of Begrchi.

Quote:
Who were her parents in actuality?

Lela was a traveling seamstress/weaver. Her father is a Shifter of unknown origins.

Quote:
How did they meet,

A cold dark night Lela would rather forget.

Quote:
what was their story

D: Very sad…

Quote:
and their full lineage?

Lela was born of Lelani, a pure alkidike and her lover, Lilah, a wind earthling.

Her father is an unknown Shifter from Jauhar.

Quote:
Is she half of one and quarters of the other?

¼Alkidike ¼Wind and ½ Shifter.

Quote:
Why did they abandon her?

Her Mother died giving birth, and no one knew who the father was (Not even Lela). Her grandmother, Lelani couldn’t bear to raise the child that killed her own, and Lilah had no idea of her own Daughters’ existence let alone tackling a grandchild.

Quote:
Basically can you just go into more detail about her beginnings and her parents?

There isn’t much to be said about the relationship between her mother and father because the child was had under unpleasant circumstances.

Lela loved being pregnant though; after the sickness there was still pain, but she was fascinated with the fact that there was a being growing inside of her. She could feel it moving inside of her and knew that bringing this child into the word might be the very last thing she did, but she couldn’t bring herself to rid herself of it; if she was meant to return to Aisha than that was meant to be.

It would definitely disappoint her that her mother, Lelani, wouldn’t take the child, but Lela was a very forgiving, kind soul (Very different from the Alkidike she grew up around)

Full Name: Lela (Sawenah’s Mother)

Sex: Female

Race: ½ Alkidike ½ Wind

Religion: She was born and raised among the Alkidike so she worships Aisha.

Weapons (if any): She was trained at a young age in the skills of a warrior, but never felt a connection to her warrior heart like her fellow Alkidike. She carries her dual blades when she is out traveling she does her best to conceal them, so as to not appear draw unwanted battles.

Occupation(s): Seamstress/Weaver: Lela had a knack for making clothing, and a high sense of fashion (Though among her Alkidike brethren she looked odd with all her intricate clothing and accessories).

Interests: Making clothing, blankets, accessories (Knapsacks, satchels, hats, scarves, etc…)

Serious Problems/Flaws/Addictions/Disorders/Disabilities: Lela had a subconscious feeling that she was never good enough. When her Alkidike brethren were hard on her or when she was cursed out for being alkidike by the shifters, she would rationalize it as being partially her fault because she was half. She realized that the Alkidike felt as though she was not entitled to the land and would most likely not be chosen to ask Aisha for a child because she was part earthling. At the same time she knew that when walking among the earthling she would be treated harshly by some because the alkidike are not well liked outside of the Chibale isles.

Relationship History: Lela never got attention from the other Alkidike, due to her strange sense of fashion. If anything they would interact with her purely out of curiosity as to why she was the way she is. In the rest of Tendaji she had a few fleeting encounters with both gender of earthlings, and did not find herself desiring permanent interactions with either. Lela preferred to just simply be, and when someone caught her eye, she would pursue, but never settle…

The night her child was conceived scared her away from connecting to Earthlings on a physical or emotional level. She did manage to meet her mother, Lilah, and develop a shaky relationship with her before her passing

Family:

Lelani- Her pure alkidike mother. This woman raised her, and taught her the ways of the alkidike people. She also encouraged her differences, and helped her develop her craft. Lelani had a fierce kind of love for Lela, and stood behind her no matter the consequences.

After her daughters passing she returns to the Chibale Isles and joined the fight against the earthlings. she also gained a vengeful hostility toward shifters, and never spoke to Lilah or tried to contact her ever again.

Lilah- The other half of Lela’s gene pool. Lilah did not know about Lela’s existence until she arrived in her village almost 20 years later. In the brief time she knew Lela, she found her to have many of the same qualities that lilah found so appealing in Lelani, and was so proud of her for carrying the child despite the circumstances.

After Lelani left, and she explained her past to her husband, Lilah watched after Sawenah from a far. She hosted the child in her home on more than a few occasions, and when it came time for her to move on with one of the traveling merchants, Lilah was sure she was well prepared. The one regret she has is never telling the child who she was.

Lilah had no hostility toward Lelani and had even thought about reaching out and trying to explain what had happened. Even trying to learn more about the daughter she never truly got to know, but part of her knew that when Lelani left that would be the last she saw of her.
