This morning's wake up call was not something Xander preferred. While yes, he as willing to do what the higher ups assigned him but he was just a bit put out about how early it had come. He had only gone to bed three hours previous after all. He was changed and hanging out by the front waiting on his mission partner with a cup of hot tea in hands about twenty minutes after he got the message. He glanced at his communicator to reread it again even if he knew what it said by now.

Jack yawned and rolled over as he heard a buzzing noise, reaching out to shut the alarm off the teen noticed it was not the object producing the noise. Siting up he rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he grabbed the communicator. After reading the mission he got up and got dressed. This seemed like it would be harder than the last mission. How were they even going to find a team that might not even be in the area? He sighed and grabbed some toast on his way down to the front. He ate it quickly hoping to be finished before he got to the meeting spot. The fact that they had capitalized each word in the last sentence bugged him, it seemed like they were putting a stress on it. He sighed, hoping that the mission would go well.

Xander took a sip from his tea while keeping an eye out for his partner. When he saw the Trainee coming he hid a smile behind his cup. He thought it might be his Probie they were testing. He raised a hand and gave a short wave.

Jack waved back to Xander he headed over to the grunt. He double checked that he had Viper's pokeball on him and was glad to find he had it. The teen was surprised to realize that he had a backpack on him as well. He must have grabbed it out of habit while leaving his room half asleep.

"You ready for this?" Xander asked as he stretched his arms above his head, careful not to spill his tea. "This has the potential to either be very boring or very interesting. Depends on what we find." The blond wondered if the teen was told about the test or not.

Jack nodded, he wasn't as nervous as he was at the start of the last mission. Part of him hoped that it would be boring but that would mean that they wouldn't find anything. Which would mean failure and that was bad. The teen was completely unaware of the fact that he was the leader and this mission was a test.

Xander nodded and took another sip. "Go sign out a car so we can go." He said with a smile. Lets see how the Probie does shall we?

Jack blinked confused but nodded and left his bag next to Xander as he headed over to the car area. He wasn't sure how he would be allowed to get a car since he didn't now how to drive yet but it was probably just so that he would know how to latter.
He entered the car bay and headed over to the table and got the papers from the person running the desk. Once it was all filled out, the car was driven out to the front for him and he headed back to Xander. "Its done." He said softly.

Xander nodded and finished his drink, throwing away the styrofoam cup in a near by trash. "Good, lets climb in then." He said and lead the way to the car. "Remind me to teach you to drive later." He said absent mindedly as he climbed in the driver seat.

"Uh sure." Jack said as he followed Xander into the car that he had signed out. Settling himself in the seat he pondered how well he'd be able to learn to drive for a while before realizing he was unsure of where they were going.

Xander put the car in drive and drove over to where the road meets the parking lot before stopping. "Directions? Should have been in the return papers you got with the car." He asked/said.

Hmm? Jack made a confused noise, he had assumed the older male knew where they were going. Hearing that they were in with the papers he had gotten back when signing out the car he grabbed the envelope and pulled them out reading them. "It says to head to Katarina." He said softly picking out the biggest detail on where they were heading as he continued to read the little paper.

Xander gave a nod then pulled the car out onto the road. "Whats the address for it?" he asked. "Might want to keep it handy. It will be a little while before we get there but it's best to keep that on hand."

Jack finished the note and went to fold it up when Xander asked for the adress. "its 3338 Cinder Cider Island Road." He said, before realizing how fake that sounded and pulled out the letter to re-read the line. Yeah that was it. Was this a joke? Or did team magma really like fire that much. The teen sighed and hoped they weren't being sent on a wild goose chase.

Xander couldn't hold back a snicker at the address. "Well at least it would be easy to remember huh?" He said with a laugh. "Well either way we should be there in an hour or so."
