Esmeralda was tired, really tired and yet her small smile could not be wiped off. There was a small bundle of joy in her arms, one that she had carried for nine long and painful months and helped bring into this world for more than a few hours of work. However she could feel the little girl stirring in her arms and knew that she’d want to be out and about playing, probably with her father, until her energy had been spent and she returned to Esmeralda for some snuggling and warmth. Esmeralda chuckled, took a seat on one of the couches and gave Minerva a kiss on the forehead.

As the kiss was laid upon her forehead, Minnerva stirred awake and stretched as much as she could. Her mother let go of her then, only grabbing onto her when Minnie almost fell off her lap. Purple eyes open and starred down at the blue ones as a smile popped onto the little girls features. “MAMA!” Small grabby hands extended to grab onto her mother’s face and dragger her down for kisses. “DADDY” The little girl stood up suddenly, features now in a slight frown. “DADDDDY!” She received a soft chid from her mother for yelling, but Minnerva ignored her.

Ekundayo was certainly busy around their home. He wanted to do the as much work for his darling in allowing her to rest as he is in their small library of his magic tomes and Esmeralda's . Esmy has done so much after all and it's only fair. A grin was seen on his face, without the stitches only for they were starting to hurt of the constant smile. He just never thought that he will have a family like this and with a darling little girl who is now calling out for him. "I be dere!" Eku just have one stack of books to put away, but the loud yelling had made him dropped the book and jumped away from the bookshelf. "Oh s**t . . . I BE COMIN' NOW!" The mage has to hurry now to get there or else she will throw a fit.
He followed the yelling and found his darling resting on the couch in seeing her horns. A curve of a smile was seen on that devious face of his as Eku saunters around the living room of the home in searching for his daughter. "Where she might be?" His tail swished about in searching high and low of the room. "I be hearin' her voice, but no sight of me princess . . ." He even lifted up a chair in the room to see if she might be underneath it and giving out a loud, exaggerated sigh that even his wings drooped down in sadness.

The Dovaa tried not to laugh out loud, the sight before her of Eku as a father made her want to cry in happiness. She could almost feel her daughter’s anger rising up as Eku ignored her and that made her want to laugh too. Esmeralda dove down on her daughter to attack her with kisses on her cheek and laughed out loud when the little girl pushed her away. Minerva was not like she had been as a child, delicate and weak, no their daughter was strong with an even stronger temperament. She could not imagine those years when Minerva would be a teenager.

The frown turned into a bright smile as her father came into her view, hands going out to each towards him so he could grab her. Though the smile slowly faded as she realized her father could not see her and yet her mother was perfectly aware of her. “Daddy? Daddy!” Now she was waving her hands, trying to grab his attention. When that didn’t work, she wiggled out of her mother’s grip and crawled voe to her father, grabbing onto his leg and yelling again. “DADDY HERE!” She heard her mother tell her now to yell once more but ignored her, her dad was ignoring her!

Oh dear, he can hear just how angry she is now for ignoring her. She might be a bit of a violent woman when she grows up and he doesn't know if he should be proud of his strong daughter or frighten. Nah, he'll be very proud that she is strong and won't let anyone push her around and laugh at the poor fool who dares mess with her. He turned around and his hollowed eyes widen in surprise to see her grabbing on to his leg. "Ah! Dere she be! Me beautiful princess! And how ya be?" Eku squat down and picked her up from the floor to cuddle with his daughter while walking over to the couch to join with Esmeralda as he leaned over to her to give a kiss upon her lips. "And how be me queen?" Of course he can't forget saying hello to her as he sat snuggling up to her side with Minnie on his lap.

Esmeralda had to let Minerva down gently and watched her crawl over to her father; yes Eku was perfect in the role of father. She leaned into the kiss as always, if there hadn’t been a daughter between them she would have dragged him down on the couch with her for more than some snuggling. She was content to snuggle up to him as he sat himself on the couch and lay her head on his shoulder as he took Minerva on his lap. “She is well and tired, how is the king of the house?” She knew he must be tired too.

As soon as she’d been picked up, Minerva had clasped her hands onto her father’s face with her biggest smile yet. “Dadddy see me!” She squished his face tightly. “I be good, how be you?” As they got on the couch, she settled on his lap and glanced over to her mother briefly, tilting her head just as the Dovaa was doing on Eku’s shoulder. “Mom sleepy.” She observed before putting her attention back on her father, her mom had been prone to falling asleep recently so when this kind of thing happen she spent her time with her dad.

Hearing his daughter speaking is just so adorable for it seemed that she is picking up his speech. It made smile just as brightly, or if he can smile as his face was being squished by her little hands. "I be good too. Thank ya for askin'" He kisses her cheek all the way over to the couch to check on Esmeralda who is well and tired. She is indeed tired and so was he. It was tough raising a little girl all on their own who yells out what she want for attention. But he smiled at the question of his well being even though he looked just as exhausted as she is. "I be fine Esmy . . ." He leaned in to kiss her once again, letting his lips linger upon hers slowly before he pulled back. "Now I be better dan fine." The mage chuckle in humor for he will feel at every kiss.
Minnerva was very observant and saw that her mother is sleepy and tired. He nodded and held his daughter up tightly in his arms. "Well lets go play somewhere else den so Mom can sleep. Will ya be okay Mom?" He can watched over their daughter for a while so Esmeralda can get some time to sleep or at least a nap to recharge her batteries.

Even though the Dovaa was quite tired she still wanted more of the lingering kiss, with a little child in their care now, they weren’t going to have much time by themselves. That was okay; they’d just have to get creative and maybe have her parents babysit once in a while. She was probably going to have to take a few years away from her work to care for Minerva, but after the whole thing with her previous graduation, she was pretty sure it was a good thing. Time would settle the dust and when she was ready to become a master, it would go without a hitch.
“Mom will be fine.” Esmeralda said with a yawn, she leaned over to give Minerva one last kiss and another for Ekundayo before getting up and stretching. “I’ll just take a quick nap and when she’s ready for a nap, I’ll get up and help you with the library.” She gave both of them a lingering look with a smile before she headed off to their bedroom. Yes a nap would do her some well; the Dovaa stretched her sings before neatly folding them against her back and plopping down onto the feather bed.

“Yes!” Minerva agreed with her father, looking to her mom when she planted a kiss on her forehead. “G’night mommy!” Then it was back to focusing on her father since she had him all to herself. “Daddy go outside! Pwease!” Yes, she wanted to go out and play in the grass and explore instead of being inside. She wanted to go on an adventure with her dad, and she briefly wondered where Vilzun and Muriel had gone off too. She liked poking Vilzin’s stomach, it was all soft. Muriel on the other hand was teaching her things and kept her fairly entertained.

Maybe that lingering kiss was a bad idea because now he really wanted her more than ever. The thing was that his fatigue was in the way when they have a daughter now and all his ebullient energy goes straight to his darling little girl for she is a demanding little girl. Eku fears that he might be rusty with his fighting skills and magic for he doesn't have as much time as before. That as well as he fears of what his daughter might think of seeing his blood magic in action. Would it frighten her? There was so many thoughts running around in his mind, he needed a day to relax so he may think clearly for once.
He was glad to see that Esmeralda was finally going to take that nap. She looked as though she is ready to fall asleep right here where the bed would be much more comfortable. The mage gave her one last kiss and nods his head in agreement for the plan. "A'ight den Esmy . . . sweet dreams." This is one of these moments he's glad he doesn't have eyes like the others. While he cannot see color like the others, he is free to stare at things without the others wondering what he is looking at as he saw his wife walking away to the bedroom and in lovely examination of her body.
With Esme walking away for a nap, he chuckled as he stood up with Minerva in his arms. "And now ya be all mine Minnie! What will be doin' today?" He took her outside to the spacious backyard of their home where both their bonded live in their own little home.

It was an amazing day to be outside, quite fit for anyone to be out and playing. Minerva enjoyed very much when she was allowed to go outside and play, the grass was a little long and that’s exactly the way she liked it. “Down!” She wanted her feet to touch the long grass and when Ekundayo put her down he began to run about, arms extended out as if she were a dragon flying around. Minerva made some angry noises which she truly believed were what dragons sounded like and she wove around the tree and her father while laughing. When all her energy was spent up she went back to her father and laid down on the grass in the sun looking up at the sky and her eyes began to close on themselves. Her dad would protect her if anything happened, she had no fear.
