Who: Duncan, Trox, and Zeke When: During the Christmas Party Where: Lab 305 Weather: Cold and wintery outside, warm and festive inside
It was now or never, Zeke decided. The party was in full swing, the secret Santa gifts had been largely passed out, and with the night slipping closer and closer to its end, the vet had only a few precious hours to put his little plan into motion. Breaking from their little group with plenty of thanks and promises to catch up more later, the decked out raver took Trox by the arm and pointed off to an area by the Christmas tree.
"Follow me, there's someone I'd like you to meet."
He released the pilot and took off through the small crowd, only once looking back to see if the other man was following him. Zeke had finally spied Duncan and with the older man now in his sights, the vet wasn't about to let him disappear on him. The plan he had so cunningly come up with was more an early Christmas present to the two men he intended to introduce. Behind the glitz and glamor of the party, down the hall and past the cafeteria, was a set of metal doors that could only be activated by a staff member's keycard. Beyond those doors was the laboratory the Lab was named for and within that secure facility were the tanks that held the Raevans both men were waiting for. Duncan and Trox were here, their Raevans were here, so Zeke didn't see any problem with letting the two men see the developing - though shadowy - forms that were going to be their wards. He had done it with Anita after all and Zeke had always felt he should do this more often. What better time than now?
"Hey Duncan!" Zeke broke through the crowd with a sunny smile and a wave to the older man. There was a bounce in his step as he closed the distance between them and wrapped him in a hug. "Merry Christmas! How have you been?" Bright-eyed and bushy tailed as always, Zeke released Duncan from his embrace and pulled away to introduce Trox.
"Sorry for jumping you, but I wanted you two to meet! Duncan this is Trox, Trox this is Duncan. I picked up your filled bottles on the same day!"

Troxel jumped at the contact, nearly tugging his arm away. Instead he did a small full body cringe. Subtle enough to be slight but not nearly controlled to be unnoticeable. He laughed and allowed himself to be lead, covering up the initial show of panic. It was Zeke. Good natured, bubbly, happy civilian, Zeke. Plus Trox could take him if need be. Not that he would. Because it's Zeke. He dropped the helmet bag next to Cam as they passed, patting the Cajun's back and making sure not to lose sight of the slighter raver.
Then they stopped before Duncan. Trox gave him an appraising once over before slowly reaching his hand forward in greeting. The pilot gave his best charming smile and chuckled nodding through the introduction.
"Duncan, is it? Harrison Troxel, pleased to meet you." He said squinching an eye and rolling his neck. "Merry christmas I guess~"

Duncan hadn't gotten much done in the way of distributing his gifts to his recipients when Zeke and Trox found him. Once Zeke caught his attention, however, Duncan nodded in his direction and quickly eased out of the group he was in to fully address Zeke, with his wheelbarrow of presents pulled along with one hand. He smiled wide and nodded towards Zeke enthusiastically.
"Hello, Zeke! Merry Christmas. I've been fantastic-- what about you?" Duncan followed along Zeke's trail and, like Trox, managed to drop his wheelbarrow off at Mordekai's foot-- it completely passed him by that Trox managed to do the same by depositing his helmet bag next to Camille. He stood as Troxel gave him a once-over.
Duncan smiled brightly at Troxel and extended an arm for a handshake in greeting, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Troxel. Merry Christmas," he looked back at Zeke and chuckled, "Ah! What a coincidence, then."

Zeke was as bouncy as ever as the two men made their first introductions, beaming at both as he looked between them. When Duncan spoke of the coincidence the smile he made could not be stopped and his brown eyes lit up with all the good feelings of the season and a little mischief.
"You could call it that," he teased gently. "And I've been doing good, Duncan. Thanks for asking! I'll be doing even better in a minute if you two give me the answer I'm hoping you will."
He wasn't as much of a master of intrigue as he hoped to be, Zeke knew that already. He couldn't help it though - it had taken him all night just to get this far and the wait was riding on him something fierce. Slipping away from the two men so he could face them both instead of be between them, Zeke stood with his back to the wall and only a few steps away from the door that led to the cafeteria, various offices, and the sealed double doors at the end of the hall. He started to speak but laughed a little, looking every bit a loon he was sure, and had to take a moment to get himself under control. When he did, he held his hands out to the two men - open and more than hoping they would take to his idea as it came forth.
"So I wanted you two to meet for more than just the fact that I picked up your bottles on the same day." He was grinning so hard his cheeks were starting to get sore. "See...We're all at the Lab. I've got my keycard here." He pulled it out of his pocket for them to see, holding it up between his pointer and middle fingers. "And you guys know what? Tis the season. Put all of these together and here's what you get: I want to give you both an early Christmas present. So what do you say to me taking you both back to the laboratory to see your Raevans, hm?"

"Mister," Troxel snorted and shook his head, clearly looking a bit put off but in a charmed manner, "No thanks, that's my father. Harrison is fine... so is Trox or Troxel. Just no mister!"
He chuckled, shook the outstretched hand and rubbed the back of his head a bit nervously. The comment about the Raevans had his entire body perked out of the demure posture. He grinned his boyish smile, teeth showing and eyes squinching slightly at Zeke, "Like a sneak peak? That's pretty awesome."
