The Inner District is the area of land surrounded by Wall Sina, the innermost of the three Walls. It is the residence of the King and upper-class citizenry, and serves as the capital of the kingdom. The Military Police are headquartered in the Inner District and protect the peace; this leads to fierce competition among military trainees to join, as it is the only posting where they will not be in danger from Titans. Here, in this topic, is the Military Police Headquarters where Trainees who've made it into the military group will come and find where they are positioned. Others of the Military Police come here to receive missions as well as their next job. Most of the time the soldiers come here to goof off in the prosperity that has blessed the Inner District of the Wall of Sina.

Two in the afternoon, a good time for Musei to make his way to the headquarters to see exactly what everyone was doing. As he made his way inside, people immediately gave him a quick salute, before going back to cleaning around the place. So it was cleaning day, and as Musei made his way through the hallway, he noticed the normal commotion coming from the room at the back of the hallway. His combat boots making a low thudding noise as he approached to door, he could hear the voices laughing, and the stench of cigarettes soon filled his nostrils. Turning the door handle and pushing the door open, he immediately heard chairs sliding back the moment his face came into view. A bit of ash flew through the air, as the men and woman in the room gave a salute to him against their chest, a proud, honest salute from each one of them. They knew at that point, to show him the respect he earned, or those cigarette's of theirs would end up pushing against the back of their necks. Making his way over to the table, he saw the amount of cards that were spread out, along with their coin that was in the center of the table. Musei made his way over to one of the men, staring at him, before the man got the idea and moved out of the way, allowing Musei to take his spot.
"So... Who's deal is it..." Musei questioned, as the expressions of everyone in the room seemed to lighten. The man he was replacing, however, hardly seemed as thrilled as everyone else. Musei pulled out a small bag from inside a pocket, tucked away in his uniform, gently tossing it onto the table and rummaging through another pocket to find his cigarettes. Pulling his pack out and taking one, the man to his left quickly pulled out his lighter, offering it to him. He chuckled lightly, taking it from the man and striking the flint to cause the flame to burst forward, igniting the tip. He quickly pocketed his smokes, along with the man's lighter, and with that, the game had been started.
"Thanks for the fun, but I think I'll call it here." Musei said, as the hour of playing cards with them passed away in no time at all. A smile was on the man's face, as he picked up the bag of coins he came in with, noting a bit of a weight change to it. He lost quite a few hands, but came back near the end, making a little more than what he had come in with, but that was gambling in the end. As he stood up, he noted that the other man had taken off, likely when Musei showed no sign of returning his seat. Lighting one more cigarette with the lighter he obtained from the man on his left, he made his way out of the room, shutting the door behind him. The halls seemed much cleaner now, which kept the smile on Musei's face all the while as he made his way through. Knocking the ashes off of his cigarette onto the newly-cleaned floor, he inspected the area around him, making sure everything other than the now-messy floor was well done.

Victoria had walked into the headquarters just as the last bit of cleaning was being done 'Oh no, I missed out on helping darn...' she thought sarcastically to herself as she walked the halls. As she turned the corner she saw the back of the Captain and cigarette ashes on the otherwise squeaky clean floor. She stood there for a moment before preforming the custom salute"Sir, you do realize that it is extremely rude to undo the work of your subordinates right?"although she had the perfect salute Victoria's eyes and tone of voice oozed sass and sarcasm.

The sounds of footsteps picked up in his ears, since the halls were fairly empty for the time being. He heard a voice speak, and as he turned around to see the woman saluting to him, he couldn't help but notice her tone. So, she hadn't learned much since she arrived, which didn't surprise someone like Musei. People all the time in the Military Police would be lazing around and up to no good, so when he refreshed what she had said over his head once more, he chuckled lightly. It was a delayed response, but one nonetheless.
"You are correct, how rude of me..." he muttered lowly under his breath, taking a long drag from his cigarette in hand. Staring at her, the smirk played up on the corner of his lip slightly. "How about you get down on your hands and knees and pick those ashes up for me. When you're done, you can throw them out over there." he commented, pointing with his smoke over to a nearby trashcan, in the process causing more ash to fly from the tip and landing on the floor.

Victoria raised a fine eyebrow as she quickly dropped the salute and placed her right hand on her hip before she started to laugh at the captain. She continued laughing for a moment before she finally stopped, wiping a tear of mirth from her eye"Ohhh please! You'd have a better chance of getting me to join those Scouting Legion fools!"Victoria continued to laugh for another moment. She knew that there was a chance that she could get in trouble but that was where her personality came in, she wasn't scared of anybody. The King himself could have been standing in the Captain's spot and she would be talking the same way after a second or two of formality.
....and let me tell you I always get what I want...
Jordan walks down the hall of the Military Police headquarters with her arms crossed and her facial expression not pleased. Her eyes are barely open as she stays deep in thought. Now what should I do? I got into the Military Police so I have the ability to push around civilians. I have wealth being the heir to my family's fortune. I have everything I could ever want.....yet....something's missing. It's not perfect. She's pleased that she got into the Military Police yet she's not pleased that she has nothing left to accomplish. To her, she has everything she wants but she knows there's one thing that she wants but can't seem to figure out. Jordan opens her eyes as she exits her deep thoughts and sees a fellow Military Police soldier talking to the Captain. Oh, he's cute. I can't say too much about that lady though. Her skin and hair look nice but other than that...how could she ever be compared to me? Jordan runs her hands through her hair and walks up to the two. "Oh, hello there Captain," she says sweetly before looking at Victoria. "Hello to you too." Jordan looks at the Captain and salutes to him balling her hands into fists and bending her elbows at certain angles to place her right fist on her heart and the left behind her back. "Anything I can do for you, Sir," she says with a flirty look in her eyes.

Amelia Wright walked through the headquarters, a stack of papers with the names of potential new recruits in hand. Letting out a small sigh, she swept her auburn bangs out of her eyes and looked at the people currently at the headquarters. It was filled with the usual crowd, soldiers just coming here to smoke a little and win some money playing cards. Not actually doing anything to help humanity. Amelia's lips were set in a straight, tight line as she walked farther into the headquarters, nodding at all those who saluted her.
After a few minutes of walking she arrived in an almost spotless hall where the Commander himself and two other soldiers stood. She had heard a woman's laugh a little earlier, and decided it must have been Firenze. Amelia knew that the woman had a certain disregard for respect, and assumed that must've had something to do with why she was laughing earlier. Amelia approached the group, and saluted the Commander, placing the paper she held earlier behind her back and her other hand on her heart,"Good afternoon Commander, and to you two as well."She greeted them with a polite voice before letting her hands fall back to where they originally were. The air felt somewhat strange, and Amelia studied the two women in front of her. She knew Firenze, but she wasn't completely sure who the other one was,"Has something happened?" She asked the group, her voice keeping its polite tone.
....and let me tell you I always get what I want...
Jordan looks over to see the Lieutenant and sighs as she gives her salute. "Nothing has happened," she says softly eyeing the Lieutenant like candy. Knowing that the Lieutanant is older than her she appears to be no older than perhaps 18. Oh look, it's Little Goodie Two Shoes she thinks to herself. After being in the Military Police for a while you can tell who's corrupted and who's not and out of all of them Amelia is the one who can be called the unstained white lace. Though she's not my type she's cute. Jordan smiles briefly. "Need any assistance there, Lieutenant Wright?" she asks in a slight cocky manner. Though, Jordan's eyes are truly resting on the Captain, the Lieutenant can have second place and Jordan will go after the one she thinks is best.....for the moment.
Melody trudged down the endless corridor, her soles echoed with each step. However, those steps seemed to catch a few lingering Military Police member's ears. The harsh rumors began to arouse, but whether she batted an eyelash at them remains to be seen. Captain Musei had disrupted her "audience" with Prince Henry so she had a bone to pick with him. It's not particularly wise to ague with the leading officer unless you were a glutton for punishment or ready to lose your position. Furthermore, Musei didn't take disrespect kindly and he was probably feed up with her consistent nagging. Almost every week, she would conjure up a new problem to b***h about. The only reason she was kept around was because of her impressive "skills" or so she thought.
Marching into the room, not bothering to salute, the girl crossed her arms impatiently waiting for his attention. She couldn't wait to demean him in front of his faithful followers. Actually, one of the police members may be a new recruit unlike Victoria Firenze. They never see eye-to-eye, and Melody's melancholy attitude clashed with the dark haired female abrasive nature. Lieutenant Wright couldn't be mistaken even if she happened to magically change her appearance everyday. Again, the silver haired soldier never took an interest into any of her comrades. A new girl was at the scene when she arrived and in a lot of aspects she resembled the whoreish maid, Mary.
Her manner of kindness was appalling and Melody had the urge to knock her down a level or two. Although, she would contain her composure until it was time for her to speak. She didn't want to speak out of turn because the punishment may become to severe. Although, the white haired male may not have it in him to bestow such devastating penalty upon her unfortunate soul.

Before he even got the chance to bark orders at the woman who decided to stand up against him, one by one more people made their way into the hallway. A new girl, it seemed, said hello and offered to do anything in a demeanor that seemed almost too polite; perhaps she had some form of underlying motive that he was not aware of. Shortly afterwards, the woman he knew all-too well came into his view, saluting and greeting him in haste. As she asked the question of something happening, Musei simply shook his head, taking a long drag from his smoke. Victoria got away from any severe punishment for the time being, but he would break her one way or another. She had potential to be in charge of a squad, but he wasn't about to have someone ordering people around when they couldn't take orders from him.
Then, the third one; Melody. She came to him so often it was a re-occuring thing that seemed to always take place. He should take notes of how often she came to either b***h or complain about one thing or another, and everytime he'd simply dismiss her casually and go on about his business. Each and every one of the people there was disposable, except himself and Amelia, so he seemed to not show much interest in what was going on. Noting the papers, Musei simply held out a hand in the direction of Amelia; a sign that he wanted to see what she was up to exactly. The woman was extremely good, that of which he found no reason to wanting to replace her yet, but in the end it wouldn't have mattered to Musei if she died in her bed the following morning or not. Ever since he first joined the Military Police, Musei stopped caring for the world around him.
"So, what's the news?" Musei questioned his Lieutenant, finally deciding to speak since the newer people showed up to surround him. Trying to stall for as long as possible before he had to deal with the inevitable Melody, he figured looking to Amelia was his ticket to side-stepping things for the time being.

Amelia gave a slight shake of her head to Jordan after she asked if she needed any help; something about the girls tone had bugged her. She brushed it aside and glanced at the new arrival,'Seems this place is pretty popular right now.' She thought as she looked at Melody. The silver-haired girl was well known for her near-constant complaints, and Amelia was actually a bit surprised when she didn't start whining as soon as she walked up to them. Choosing to ignore the girl who hadn't so much as even saluted them, Amelia turned her gaze to the Commander's extended hand.
"Not much to report yet; these are the names of the potential recruits. Top members of the Garrison and some of the stand-out trainees. Of course, nothing has been determined yet, so I doubt this list will interest you all that much." She said, handing the papers to him nonetheless. Amelia glanced over at Melody once again, and was reminded of another mission,"I'm afraid I don't have the paper work at the moment, but we also received a request for two soldiers to act as a body guard for... someone of high nobility." She reported. It was likely that Musei knew the mission she was talking about and therefore knew that the king was the someone she was talking about, but Amelia found that most members of the Military Police could use a gentle reminder about missions and duties every once in a while. Days filled with playing cards and smoking could make ones memory a little hazy after all.

Victoria wasn't going to lie, she was not expecting so many people to show up so quickly. The first girl was very polite to them both, however it was blatantly obvious to Victoria that she was flirting with the Captain. She openly rolled her eyes at the flirtatious girl, however before she could make a snide comment towards the girl, Lieutenant Amelia arrived with paperwork for the Captain. Victoria really didn't have an opinion on the Lieutenant, the woman was just there.....and that was it.
However the same could not be said about the next person to arrive 'Oh joy...' she thought sarcastically as Melody approached the group, clearly ready to whine and complain about something else. Victoria could easily say that she may not have been the most popular person in the Military Police due to her attitude and the fact that she always rubbed people the wrong way. However the one thing about Victoria that she knew many people agreed on was that she didn't whine or complain about every little thing. That was how most, if not all people described Melody and Victoria was no different.
Victoria then gave an amused smirk as Melody was completely ignored by the Captain. So before the bratty girl could say anything Victoria decided to 'Speak her mind'"Ohhh so Melody what's the Big Problem this time? Was the water in your shower to cold? Is your bed to lumpy? Did someone give you a funny look? Did your boyfriend cheat on you?"she said with the sarcasm increasing with each question she asked and at this point Victoria couldn't wait to see what great comeback Melody had.

Melody Dale
Instead of receiving a response, the captain was more concerned about the new report!? That's what the emergency was was to listen to Amelia Wright, a valuable asset to the unit, read the news. By the way, the news wasn't even news but information or in this case data on overachieving recruits and soon to be soldier trainees. How arrogant and beyond childish could Musei's be!? For the love of Wall Maria, he was going to watch the one-woman-circus, Victoria to pick up his cigarette ashes off the floor. Although the ashes were visible against the stone cobble, Melody wouldn't wish such a tedious task on anyone. If only the male knew respect, but he was a self-righteous pig begging to be replaced with a captain that will actually listen to her simple demand.
Melody wasn't in any position to make demands, but she did it anyway out of spite. It justified her adolescent manner to deliberately disobey the authority which resulted her to get whatever she desired of course. Why deal with a child's constant bickering when you can simply provide them with what they want in the first place so they'll get out of your hair? This analogy applied to Melody's entire being with made it impossible to ever hope to please the female. However, no one was aiming to please her especially Victoria with her smartass mouth.
"Wouldn't you like to know!?" The silvered haired vixen was quick to retort from the rude comment. It's not like everyone already knew the answer anyway because they practically whispered about it everyday. Trailing back to Amelia's previous statement about the newspaper, two guards needed to be stationed at the palace. This made her somewhat satisfied, however, complaining to get what she wants is a better method. It makes everyone's lives miserable except hers. "I will serve the king, no arguments, good." The girl made her priorities quick to the point, she got ready to turn on her heels to dismiss herself.
....and let me tell you I always get what I want...
Jordan listens to to Amelia speak in response to the Captain not noticing the silver haired girl appear until Victoria talks to her in an insulting kind of way. Looking at this soldier Jordan smirks. Silver hair? God it makes her look old. How sad, she sarcastically thinks to herself. "I'll take the job," says Jordan with a smile. "I mean I could go push around the trainees or something, which I may go do, but other than that what else do I have to do around here," she sighs flipping her green hair.
"Quit your bickering; both of you." Musei ordered calmly, referring to the two women that decided to snap out at each other. He closed his eyes for a moment, thinking everything over that was said. They needed people to guard the King, and the new names that were on the papers required himself to go and visit the training corps in order to gain good recruits. Looking to Melody as she tried walking away, he made somewhat of an annoyed noise, glaring at the woman.
"You will remain here, Melody. You are not dismissed until I say you are. Is that understood?" he asked, not expecting an answer before continuing. "Also, you will not be guarding anyone of any nobility. We need people whom will guard them, not fraternize with them and become distracted with their duties. I will assign guards privately, so this will not be a public affair that everyone within a ten meter radius will pick up on." he paused, taking a drag from his nearly-depleted cigarette at this point. He looked towards Amelia, before letting a small smirk play on his lips. She was still new, and he would have to show her a thing or to, especially when it came to dealing with deviancy among members.
"Now, what I'm about to explain to you, Melody, is something that I hope you'll understand. You are being assigned cleaning duties for a month, twice a week, for not giving myself a proper salute. If you miss even one minute of your cleaning duties, I will personally drag you to Wall Rose and throw you over the edge without a damn gas canister to your name. Best case scenario is that a titan over there cushions your fall. Do I make myself clear, Melody?" he barked loudly, his voice reverberating off of the walls in the area. "I try to be generous to everyone, and I find myself to be quite the sympathetic and understanding Captain, but you know why I let some slack? Because they show me respect, they salute me, they know that I am here to help Humanity to the bitter end, and to guard the King with my life. If you cannot understand that, I will gladly sign your papers to send you over to the Scouting Legion, and you can offer your body to Humanity in another way. Is that understood?" he finished, standing tall and making sure that he got every word into that head of hers.
"Now then. Melody, I will be seeing you at 0600 for some morning training. I'll be getting permission for 3D Maneuver gear use inside the city for training exercises. Everyone else will begin after breakfast. You are all dismissed. Amelia, let's go." Musei finished, pressing his finger to the tip of his cigarette. The sensation burned away at the flesh, but he hardly cared at this point. Walking past the four women and casually flicking the now-extinguished cigarette butt into the trash bin, he made his way to the exit, expecting his new Lieutenant to follow him closely behind.
