Here at the Training Camp is where trainees will practice their balance to use the 3D Maneuver Gear. No Trainee is allowed into the Forest of Giant Trees until he or she passes the test. These may be used whenever but in order to pass the test an official officer needs to be watching.

3DMG Test: Passing the test is very simple.*. Your character needs to inform one of the Official officers to evaluate them (a.k.a quote the captain or vice captain, or crew member).
*. Wait till the officer comes to watch and then post your trial at it.
*Do not post that your character struggled and then made it for that is not how it works.
* You will roll ONE 100 sided dice and in the post you will say that your character gets into the equipment and is beginning to be lifted off the ground.
*If the number is even you passed and the crew member, vice captain, etc will post saying that you passed.
* If you get an odd number you fail and will have to try again later.

Zoro walks out onto the 3D maneuver gear training grounds where three large contraptions lay next to each other waiting to be used. Besides each one is a large box holding the belts needed to use the equipment. "Here we'll see how well you'll be able to balance in a 3D environment. In order to use the 3D maneuver gear you must be able to balance using these large contraptions," he says as he walks up to a box and opens it to see bundles of belts neatly tied together in packs. "If you haven't been given your belts come up and get some and Little Miss Purple over here will show you how to put them on," he says referring to Zuki. "If you feel confident you may take the test now if you don't we'll just do a practice and then we'll move on to hand-to-hand combat. Truthfully, I chose this one because you need to get used to wearing these belts at all times because if you don't you will get in trouble and sometimes your punishment is death by titans if you're not careful."

Zuki carefully listens to Zoro only to hear him refer to her as Little Miss Purple. It's not that she didn't like it but it's not like she liked it either, but then again he is a commanding officer. Once he's done speaking Zuki approaches him. "Lieutenant Z-Zoro, why am I here?" she asks softly and nervously. It's never like Zuki to ask her superior a question, unless she needed help, but at the time it seemed like a good idea to calm the winds of her curiosity. Now that she's asked her anxiety rises wondering if he's the type of superior that hates the inferior asking questions. ◄ ".....or am I just a waste?" ╚═☽†☾═══════════════════════════════════════════════☽†☾═╝

Cole Brunel+Knight of Storm of Discord+ Don't expect me to do much more ...
Cole followed along with the rest of the group, tempted to break off and go somewhere else but decided against it. He may as well stick around and get to know the place first right? But of course they were checking out the training rooms, the best part of the camp. When he saw the things, whatever they were called, that they would be wearing he smiled a little. Finally they were getting something that would make them a bit more important then what they were now.
((Just realize I was quoting one person...))

Alice Wiess The superior congratulated Alice with a pat on the back for sticking up for her comrade. The farm girl couldn't stand to see one of her own treated in disrespect even though it was a lesson he needed to hear. Maybe he'll taking the hammering words to heart because she knew out in the battle field she would give her own life if it helped save another. The same act of valor was portrayed by her sister before her untimely death. How could she not follow in her sister's courageous foot steps. Cole acknowledged her bravery with a smile and she gestured the same way back. The male made it clear that he was not the Drill Sergeant, but he was still a higher rank than them. They followed like sheep and Alice made sure of her teammates were left behind which included Jak.
Once they were out in the open dirt field, Zoro wasted no time in explaining their task. The mechanisms lined up in the back of the officer was balancing equipment to practice for the real deal. If you have no balance with your 3D Maneuver Gear...well your just pegging for a titan to eat you. Zoro dug through a box that was posted beside the contraptions and pulled more belts. These belts would hold the Maneuver Gears sword box shaped holsters in place. Without hesitating, the blonde walked over to the black haired male taking the thick black supports.
The female with the purple hair that show up earlier was ordered to take the rest from there. If only she knew the procedure because she didn't sound confident at the moment. Alice was certain the punishment for not wearing the belts was a lie, but she strapped them on anyway. Any trainee wanted to be cautious because even though being off guard in front of an officer wasn't important, a titan was. The girl's nerves were taking over, and she was terrified that she would fail the first test. Of course, she was told it was fine and given the option to chose another exercise but that sounded like living up. She wanted to exceeded Zoro's expectations and hers as well.
When the purple haired girl was ready, she would be the first to volunteer. However, this concept wasn't going to be as simple as she expected.

Jak Strider

Jak would follow the group from afar yawning as they headed out to the field. He would then start to pick up his pace to keep up with the group. They seemed to be going pretty fast and up a hill which wasnt easy with weights on but Jak was quite used to them already. Each step let him feel the full weight of the weights he had on. As they would come to a clearing, they would see some stands and a few people doing some balncing on the stands. Jak had finally caught up and the group had stopped as the sub drill sergeant took charge and told them about the exercise that he recommended. Jak would quickly grab a belt and put it on. He would then walk towards the purple haired girl waiting for instructions.

Cole looked around as he noticed that the other two newbies were getting ready for the first test, and figured he may as well ready himself to. He walked over after Jak and threw on the straps, stretching a little before joining the rest of the group at the purple girl.
The purple girl was odd. She was obviously more experienced, so why wasn't she more aggressive then this? Usually people of higher rank liked to hound on the newer people and make them feel bad about themselves right before going into a test. Speaking of the test, he assumed that the other two were thinking the same thing as him. Why practice when you could take the test now? It seemed like it would be much easier to take the test, and if you failed then you took it again some other time.
...Then shoot and reload....

Zoro watches as the three trainees grab a set of belts and walk up to Zuki waiting for instructions. The lieutenant smirks at the purple haired girl as she asks him what purpose she has there. Has she forgotten that there is a penalty for not wearing uniform when on duty? She must have or else she wouldn't be asking such a question. "Well, Little Miss Purple, you're here to finish you're punishment for not being in uniform. Just because I took you away from your previous punishment doesn't mean you're off the hook. I just took you away from potential danger is all. Anyway, you're here to aid the trainees and to take the tests yourself. Maybe once you take the tests again you'll know better than to not dress how you're supposed to," he says before patting her head and walking over to one of the machines and leaning his back on it to watch her. He looks at her with a demanding look, hoping to purposely make her nervous. It's not like he hates her, it's just that he likes to mess with people. "All right, listen up to Miss Purple here and she'll do the teaching for this lesson," says Zoro loudly.

"Using 3D Maneuver Gear requires a lot of leg strength as well as balance but in my opinion it's mostly leg strength," she says softly trying not to be too loud. Seeing that all three of them have strapped their belts on she hesitantly walks up to one of the three simulation contraptions. Zuki has never been a person to lead let alone teach something to others. The thoughts of her failing keep running in her head as multiple scenarios of her messing up royally flash in her mind as she opens a panel in one of the legs of the contraption and pulls out a small remote control device. She then hooks herself up slowly showing the three where to hook the wires. Afterwards she takes a deep breathe and presses the button on the device to lift her up hoping she doesn't screw up infront of the lieutenant. ◄ [OOC: Remember to take the test you roll one 100 sided dice. Her cheeks fluster red at the thought of failing but as she gets further and further off the ground the redness fades away seeing that she is balancing herself nicely. A sigh of relief exits the girl's mouth as she balances in midair. "I can't really explain anything else about this or give you any tips on how to better yourself for this other than it requires leg strength. So, good luck I guess. Would anyone like to go first?" she asks as she presses the button on the remote again and she begins to be lowered down onto the ground.◄ ".....or am I just a waste?" ╚═☽†☾═══════════════════════════════════════════════☽†☾═╝

Purple get yelled at for not wearing her uniform. She was excited to take the test since she was determined to past this test on the first go instead on a next try. She watched and listened to every word said making sure she memorized it. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Jak would look around then sigh as he stepped forward. "I guess ill go first." he would say looking at the purpled headed girl. He would then turn to the balance thing and start to walk towards it wondering if he would pass or fail. The girl made it look easy so Jak thought it would be pretty easy for himself. He would stop right before the contraption carefully examining it. He would then sigh as he strapped himself up and then copied the girl and pressed the button ready for the worst.

Alice Wiess The captain/lieutenant/sergeant...whatever he wanted to be called corrected his purple hair companion. She was caught with out her uniform and punishment usually meant cleaning the cannons on top of Wall Maria. Not a bad punishment, but a rather tedious one. Plus if a 50 meter titan happened to appear and a solider didn't have their gear then they would surely die. Zuki wasn't really continuing a punishment, but being used as an example like Cole was earlier. Alice didn't want to judge, however, this girl had to be a higher rank than them yet her confidence as well as abilities of success were low. The farm girl wanted a leader she could follow into battle without being disappointed.
The oddly colored haired female announced some good advance even if it only applied to her liking. Once she had set herself up to the 3D Maneuver Gear contraption, she pressed a button on a remote and was lifted about three to four feet above ground. The grinding gears inside the machine echoed repeatedly through the open area. As she was rising up, she distributed her body weight with her legs and arms. One leg slightly forwards while the other back, and the same with her arms. Her spine was erect to keep the weight even and stiffening her posture would ensure her position. Watching the dimension made the gear look easy to operate, but practice was quiet different.
Most of the trainees broke away to train in at different stations only Jake, Cole, and herself decided to stay. Alice didn't want to seem rude and knew the girl was trying her best. Maybe she had already passed Alice's expectations of her as well as the sergeant. Again, you can judge a book by their cover and forgetting her uniform was such a minor thing. Beside she doubted any trainee, including herself, would be able to participate this exercise with full confidence. Alice clapped her dry cracked hands together and smiled. "Bravo!" She exclaimed.
After Zuki lowered herself onto solid ground again, Jak took the pleasure in going first. Alice was going to volunteer to go next unless the new girl that just showed up wanted to. Alice knew she would have her chance to shine eventually.

Jak would start to be lifted into the air by the wires connected to his belt. As he rose up slowly off the ground Jak the understood what the girl meant by leg strength. Jak didn't find it so hard since he had been training his whole body since he was young. The contraption would stop as Jak floated a few feet off the ground balancing himself with ease. Jak would then wait for the girl to tell him if he passed or not.
