Yes, that's right. Patmos is now the big three-O! And that comes with three decades of memories, and the fear and curiosity of another decade coming of unsure exploration of the world. Come join in while he has a mini life-crisis and enjoy some of his better memories of the years gone by.
This will be a flaffle, with one ticket per person, or two tickets for newbies (three kin or less). Winners will have to pay the standard rate for kin (25k) and familiars(10k), sent to Patmos of Endtimes after the rolling. Ticket claims start January 6th, and will end 8pm EST on the 12th, Patmos' birthday. Rolling will happen at 9pm EST on the 12th.
And now for Patmos' self-indulgent reminiscing:
Age 1: Mum always liked to tell me how I was independent from the get-go. When I was very little, I pushed myself up off my mum to look at the seagulls while at the beach.
Age 5: I miss the family camping trips that I never remembered us having.
Age 7: Need I say more? Dinosaurs are awesome!
Age 10: Less fire and more anything that glowed. Even though I loved the dark, I liked the prettiness of a small light in the darkness. My favorite was on my kiddy sewing machine.
Age 14: I wanted to be a paleontologist until anime came along, and then I only ever wanted to be an artist. Ta da!
Age 15: Fifth Element is just one of many movies that inspired my love for fantasy and sci-fi. And lets face it, Mila and Bruce are some pretty amazing actors.
Age 17: And then Harry Potter happened in an initial fit of teenaged rebellion. From the moment my mum told me I couldn't read them (4th book was almost out), to me sobbing in the theater for the last movie midnight showing -- dressed as my OC, for heaven's sake! -- Harry Potter has probably been my longest and strongest fandom run.
Age 20: College proved to be fertile training grounds for art I could not learn on my own, and Art Nouveau one of my favorite types. (I actually own an art nouveau dinosaur coloring book.)
Age 22: I decided to stop being afraid of drawing animals and forged into the world of birds, buying reference books big enough to kill puppies and even toying with the idea of being a falconer. And now I seem to be really good at them. XD
Age 25: Although I had gotten my first Ball-Jointed Doll a few years before, and had been interested since before the majority of companies formed, it was around this time that my collection really started snow-balling.
Age 26: PK and I started dating, which led to me literally packing all my possessions that could fit in a van and moving across the country in my ballsiest move yet in life. These two lovebirds come together, but one must be gifted to someone you really care about in the B/C!
Age 30: Well, let's just see what happens, shall we?
