Karayan was off to do what he did best, that being bothering his Orderite friend, Madryn Col. It had been a bit since he'd last seen him and he was eager to meet up with him again, to tell him about the various things that he'd been up to, and show him the interesting little critter that he had sitting on his head at the moment. A cute little fairy dragon named Ember that his friend Rowan had gotten for him. It had been quite a bit of fun but he felt that it would probably be more fun if Madryn was with him. The boy could be a bit stubborn and stuffy but he always made adventures a lot more interesting!

"He can be a bit gruff but I think you will like him, Ember." He told the one that was sitting on his head, getting a chirping sound from her as a reply. It was something that made him chuckle before he continued onward toward where Madryn lived. He'd been there once before so it wouldn't be hard to find the place again. He couldn't help but to appreciate where his friend lived, finding that other then home that Serenia was his favorite place to visit. Sure, it was a little colder at the moment then he'd like, but at it wasn't as sweltering hot as Eowyn was, "Alright, almost there!" He said, a bounce in his step that caused his jewelry to clink together.

He couldn't help but to wonder what they would do today! Fight dragons? Visit some far off land via boat? Or maybe he could talk Madryn into climbing some trees with him? The possibilities were endless! All he had to do was talk Madryn into it and despite his complaining he tended to follow Karayan's lead.

Karayan turned his head toward the voice that was calling out to him, gazing at the girl that was standing there, then couldn't help but to perk up a bit. A girl? Wow, one that looked rather like Madryn given her coloring, and she said that he was heading toward his house so... his sister? Oooo, now this was something that he couldn't help but to be interested in. Kara put on his best smiled before lifting a hand to wave, "Wave, Ember, this is my friend's sister." He said to the little one perched on his head. It was something that caused Ember to give the girl a glance and a chirp but that was about it. It seemed she wasn't as enthused as her owner was by any stretch of the imagination.

Walking over to the girl he said in his ever friendly manner, "My name is Karayan, or just Kara, I was just coming to visit Madryn. Is he home? I was hoping maybe he'd wanna hang out again today." He said, grinning up a storm. Maybe she'd come along too? That could be fun, all of them taking on some dragons side by side! He couldn't help but wonder if she would wield dangerous looking farming equipment in her battles like her brother did. Maybe? He supposed he'd see if she came along with them.

"Irresponsible? Is that what he said about me? That wasn't very nice." Kara said with a bit of a pout, then gave a laugh, "I am sure that he told you about how we got lost, huh? How what I supposed to know? A ship is a ship is a ship, they all look the same to me." He told the girl, finding it almost amusing that Madryn had told her that he was irresponsible and one that led them into trouble. There were only... he paused and thought about it, like two or three times that he'd actually gotten them into trouble! One of which he wasn't even sure counted since they had actually been purposefully hunting Ysali that time.

Karayan tilted his head to one side, "Ah, he's not at home? That's a shame, I was really hoping that he might want to come with me to do some dragon hunting now that I have a better handle on my magic." He said, seeming to muse over it for a moment, then gave a shrug and asked, "Want to come with me instead? Hunting alone can be a bit boring, nobody to show of to." He couldn't help but to laugh at his own joke. It was the truth though, it could get rather boring, especially the part between battles when it was just him and his thoughts, something that normally ended up with him chatting to himself. At least if nothing else he had Ember now to help keep him company but even that wasn't the same as the fun he had with Madryn even if he was a bit stuffy.

When he suddenly found himself getting 'attacked' by a little bird, one that wasn't familiar to him, he gave another laugh, "Naw, that's alright. I know how pets can be and I am rather prone to liking shiny things myself." Dragon orbs especially. Digging into his pack he fished around for a moment until he found one of the shiny babbles that was sitting in the bottom of his bag, holding it up, "How about this one, little Videe? Is this treasure worth you ceasing your attack?" He asked with a little laugh. Ember gave Videe a little glance, turning around on Karayan's head, and gave a little hiss as though to say that Karayan was her property and that the other creature should take the offering and go. Karayan shook his head then, "You be nice, Ember, there is no reason to be all hissy. Don't mind her, she doesn't like to share."

It had been a long day, he had been sent on an errand by their father to go out to the market and pick up some things to fix the machines on the farm. Jumping at the chance as he loved building and fixing stuff he eagerly went on his task only to end up frustrated by it. No one had the right parts he was looking for, or they treated him as if he was too dumb to know what the parts he was after actually looked like. Some sleeze tried to pass off axles as gears and he had to leave in a huff. It literally took him longer than he thought was possible and he was now on his way home with only a few of the items his father had trusted him to get.

A headache building in his head he rubbed his face with his free hand using the forefinger and thumb to rub his temples. Wondering what he was going to tell his father when he got home that he failed in this simple task of getting equipment. It felt like it was lame to say that it wasn't his fault, and it wasn't...but that meant he would have to do more chores at home to make up for his failure. Trying not to drag his feet the homestead coming into view he glanced around and instantly spotted Sueno. It was hard for him not to smile when he saw her, but who....the heck was she with?

Slowing down a bit he frowned trying to place the strangely familiar person, his eyes widened a moment as it clicked and then narrowed again. His steps moving quickly forward now as he shortened the distance between him and them within moments. There were many things on the tip of his tongue, primarily him demanding what Karayan was doing with his little sister. Though he slowed again as he saw that they were playing...or at least interacting with the fae dragons.

"Sueno, don't do anything he asks you to do. He'll just drag you off into danger without a second thought." Madryn growled coming up looking up and down Karayan wondering how the guy managed to get so tall.

Sueno gave a huge smile and skipped over to her brother, handing him Videe before giving him a hug.
"Dyn-dyn! And why not? If yer worried ye can come with us! Ah wanna see ye hunt at least once." She pouted at her older brother before throwing a smile Karayan's way. "Ah dinna hunt normally. Just stay on the farm and tend to my garden and animals. Though Ah've been thinking about trying to learn some hunting tips so Ah can try and catch some animals to tame. So maybe not dragon hunting, but Ah wouldn't mind if ye showed me tips on tracking creatures! Or traps to catch them unharmed." That would be fun, and maybe with help she would be able to try and tame some of the more dangerous creatures. Farm animals were nice, but she'd been thinking about taming some thing large enough to go with her brother and be a guard or something.... And for that, she'd need help finding and capturing it! Or she'd need a hunter to travel with her to other continents to try her hand at those animals. She'd rather have her brother, but if he was too busy, then his friend would do nicely!

Karayan couldn't help but to smile brightly at the suggestion given by Sueno, "Yeah, you should come with us Madryn Col, I think that it would be a lot fun!" The three of them as a group taking on dragon after dragon! It would be a battle for the ages! This thought was dashed a moment later when Sueno said that she didn't hunt, instead that she was wanting to try to catch animals to tame, which meant a whole lot of not killing them. He seemed to think on it for a moment before he said, "Well... I've never gone out trying to capture animals before but maybe we can figure something out." He wasn't one that went off capturing pets but who knew, it could be fun! Either way it would still be the three of them having fun together after all and that was all that mattered to him.

"I could see about trying to catch stuff for you if you want if you would rather not actually hunt. Seems that maybe you wouldn't want to do that if what your brother is saying is true?" He asked of her, glancing over at Madryn for a moment, seeming to be thinking on what they could do other thend ragon hunting since it would appear as though Madryn didn't care for the idea of Sueno going on a dragon hunting adventure with them. Maybe the Orderite boy preferred when they went by themselves? It was a nice thought but he somehow felt it was more that he wanted to protect his sister then keep Karayan to himself.

Giving Sueno a smile he said, "I am getting pretty good at catching things so I bet if the three of us went chasing after some critter that you wanted we could get it for you. Here! Just watch!" Turning to look over at Madryn he gathered some of his Gaili magic, making a motion with his hand, and tried to use the earth under the grumpy Orderite's feet to capture him. If it worked he'd pay for it later but if it made Sueno laugh then Karayan felt his work would be done!

Still staring Karayan down or rather glaring him down the young oderite looked as if his hands could come out any second and try and strangle the much taller dovaa. The fact that his hands were clenched at his sides probably emphasized the desire though perhaps the dovaa wasn't so stupid as sudden earth was wrapped around his feet and up to his ankles. Suddenly unable to move he flailed about trying to keep his balance.

"Aaahh...k..." He managed to say before he found himself falling forward. Glaring at Karayan as if this was the least funny prank he could be doing to him. "Did you do that? If so if you value your life get that earth magic off of me." He hissed looking as if he was going to murder the dovaa as soon as his feet were free.

Blinking and still in a rather awkward standing position he looked over to Seuno and the angry look on his face melted almost instantly and turned into fretting.

"You went into a crypt? Why? You didn't get hurt did you?" Madryn asked all the worried brother type of questions and he would of grabbed her and examined her but ...was busy at the moment. It took him a moment or so to realize that ..she had brought him a shield. "Wait...you got me that? ...Wow...Seuno...you really shouldn't have. No i mean it you could of gotten really hurt!"
