The little filly sighed dreamily and looked back down at her latest project of doodles and lullabies. Somehow she was going to make a lullaby book for her dad's to sing to them before bed but it was proving to be a difficult challenge. Now it was even worse to concentrate with these kiddos nearby. Not only was she frequently looking up to watch them, but her ears were on a constant swivel to listen in on what they were gossiping about.
Singsong knew they weren't the nicest of kiddos, they were mean to a lot of kids in class and their noses pointed directly up, but here at the park playground maybe they were different? Maybe, just maybe, she could make friends with them. Heck, maybe her whole family could and then they could go swimming, hiking, and sledding together-something for every season. Oh, wouldn't that be wonderful?
But it wasn't realistic. That would never ever happen. So Singsong huffed and looked about to see which sibling was available to help her. "Blue! Hey, Blue!" Singsong called to him from her spot on the grass near the slide. "Can you help me with my book? I can't think of a word that rhymes with sheep."
