My favorite marching quotes
1) Only Marching Band Nerds understand: When you use a trash can or something on your home field as a point of reference and then you go to a competition and you are like "WHERE'S MY TRASH CAN!!!!"
2) There's always that one kid (picture of band with short kid in the front grinning like and idiot)

during concert season, my director Mrs. P, was having us go over a new piece for MPA. It was sort of French inspired and she wanted us to get in the mood of it so she says this:
"Think soft... delicate....... croissants.."
the entire room just ******** lost it and we have yet to let her forget it

Director: "Turn the suck knob down" Students: (Wise words of wisdom for brass) "Whenever I'm feeling sad and need cheering up, I remember I'm not a woodwind and my day is instantly better." (I have nothing against woodwinds, I just thought that this quote was funny, especially since the student said it as a motivational speech)
(waiting to cross the street in a large city during rush hour) "Can we play Frogger?"
