Fifi walked at a fast clip along darkened streets. At 3am the night owls had finally gone to bed, while even the earliest early birds wouldn’t be up for at least another hour. Fifi’s bright blond curls were tamed into a tight braid, which was in turn stuffed down the back of a navy blue hoodie. Black slacks covered her legs, with black sneakers below. Her shirt underneath was a white t-shirt a size too small, with ‘Frank’s Bar and Grill’ across the chest.
While her outer clothing was all dark enough to blend into shadows, she walked confidently, not trying to hide. It wasn’t time for that yet. A black-clad thief skulking in the night was an open invitation for someone to question her motives. Her backpack contained an apron and nametag that claimed she was ‘Suzie.’
Frank’s was a dive pretending to be an upstanding place, and boasted both a high turnover rate and an abundance of blondes. If questioned, Fifi would claim to be Suzie, headed home from work. ‘Suzie’ had the misfortune of being a bit short of cash, so she rented in one part of town and worked over in a different part of town at Frank’s with the too-tight uniform and boss that stuck her with cleanup tonight, keeping her past the bar’s 2am closing time. With her tight budget, she certainly couldn’t afford a cab, and the busses were all stopped for the night.

Fifi didn’t even glance at the evolution stone store she passed, keeping her pace fast and face averted just enough from the glass that security cameras would be foiled by the shadow of the hoodie. Turning at the end of the block she dodged into the back ally, slipping into the shadows.
Waiting, she listened for the sound of any other people or guard pokemon. Nothing. With a wince, she slid her hand behind the nearby dumpster, retrieving a gunk gun. Aiming carefully, she took out the cameras in the back before she entered their view range. Checking to make sure the lenses were completely covered, Fifi moved to the back door and pulled out her lockpicks. A few moments later and the door slid open. 60 seconds to disarm the alarm. Fifi used the small device she’d been given, and 55 seconds later the light blinked green.
Fifi checked various drawers, finding only one locked. A slender file broke the lock, revealing a key ring in the drawer. Fifi opened the cases, scooping evolution stones into a bag. A few minutes later, she was done. She left, checking that no one was watching the alley, and walked briskly to a nearby bar. Several cars were parked, their owners having left their keys with the bartender to take cabs home. Fifi used a spare set to start up one of the cars, left for her by an accomplice who had never actually entered the bar.
Obeying all traffic laws, Fifi calmly left town without attracting attention. With a grin, Fifi made a mental note to let down her hair and change before getting back to base. Wouldn’t want anyone to mistake her for someone competent.
