So, what's your perspective on super-jumping? I think it's just a glitch that helps in games, not really a cheat. Even if you can super-jump, only an effective sniper can really do some damage. Anything less than that or a RL can't do any damage from the average height that a super jump reaches.

I agree. Not only des it take a small degree of skill to actually jump in the first place, you have to be able to use it properly.
But, with this in mind, it can be used to an advantage other than normal. For example, if there is an oddball match on Ascension, I could quite easily grab it and superjump out of the map. Yes, i know how to do it, and it's really very simple, and possible in one simple jump.
It's impossible to snipe me, I'm such a great distance out, and even if another did bounce out of the map to find me, it's impossible to see anything down there. Plus, I'd have already ran off to the other side of the map.
There are always two sides to everything, using a bounce responsibly, and only bouncing to a place where others can easily get at you is fine, but using a a jump to an unfair advantage in a (I'veforgotten the word)based game is just wrong, and should never be done, by anybody.

I'm a little lost on what a super jump is. sweatdrop
I once bounced really high when I was in the windmill in Zanzibar and it launched me out.

I know crouch and Grenade jumping, but super jumping...?

It's a part of the map that for some reason rejects your player, and shoots you off into the air. You normally have to auto-crouch under a ledge to activate it.
They can be useful. And fun.

They can be useful. And fun. Oooo, I did that it Zanzibar. I was on the windmill and when it was about to reach the top I crouched under it to get inbetween the top and the edge of the blade thing and it shot me out and when I hit the ground I did a huge bounce. The rest of the times I tried It committed suicide.

Yep, you bounced alright. Most bounces are found by accident. And some take aot of practice to master.

If you play Halo 2 and you don't know what a super bounce is then I have every right to say you aren't that much of a hardcore player. Everyone who's ever glitched or played a custom game for fun knows what a super bounce is. Just ask all your friends if they can show you one, that or add me to your friends and I'll show you. I literally know a bounce on every map. Nonetheless, it's an effective way to get out of the map or onto high places you couldn't reach by normal means (IE: the roof of the base on Zanzibar). It's really fun when you do it right.

I can super jump in Accension now.
I can also do the one in Zanzibar with the crack facing the beach but not as easily.
