So if you didn't know the next lunar year is the year of the horse. And well folks we got horses by the herd. Aside from the Horsemen faction, there are quite a few horse based students which brings us to this lovely point- In celebration of all things pony, there will be a party~

ATM the activities I have planned/thought of are
-Ceremony to honor the deceased
-Lantern hanging
-Dancing (with lions maybe)
-Red envelope gifting (remix from last year)
-Fireworks + picnic (feast)

Roughly these are planned to run along the lines of activities to be held in event thread(s) The ceremony and lantern hanging in one, dancing and gifting in another, and the final thread dedicated to the fireworks and feast. Timeline wise It would all happen the same night but wibbly wobbly timelines anyway.

OTHER LESS TRADITIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Jousting
Racing
Talent Show (show ponies lol)
Shopping *u*

Now here is the thing-
I'd like some volunteers to help set this up from you guys. You can either volunteer to host one of the (semi) planned activities, or, offer up your own activity for the party!
The only requirement is that they either can tie into the lunar new year or to horse-centric events in general. So yes, while a majority of characters are horsemen- this is less about clan pride or Horsemen style things- Think of it like they took this event from humans and decided to make it all about being proud to be a pony.

A personal preference I'd like to have is graphics and IC prizes. I'm a pretty uh... okay artist at best but not by much. If someone could volunteer to do a few graphics and item/IC prizes that would also be wonderful, (I can pay you in gold or minis). The art doesn't have to be super polished, just something nice to pretty things up.

Finally- the date. The actual date of the lunar new year is the 31st. That gives us some time to plan. Ideally, I'd like to have everything ready by the 26th.

ATM just throwing this here- If you are doing a booth- it's your job to come up with the post itself, AKA: text, mechs much like the booths of past. They must use one post only since the 'booths' will be consolidated into one thread.
If you are doing a thread please set up a test thread and like booth, it's your job to write it out and post mechs and such.
