The forest is covered in a thick miasma, very dangerous to humans, not very dangerous to demons. Tampering with the barrier in order to lower it will cause in activating its defense mechanisms, which you don't want to do. Touching the barrier will result in 5k shock of electricity. Attempting to break the barrier will result in the barrier becoming violent and attacking with Qi.As its name suggests, it is strictly off limits to students - except in the case of detention, or special lessons. Of course, with the various dangerous creatures living in the Forest, few students would even want to venture into it. Black flowers are known to grow in the forest, during the full moon the flowers are said to turn a bright white in color which attract some very dangerous demons whom smell their beautiful scent. Although normally the creatures within this forest are relatively normal such as wolves, bears, panthers, and a few giant birds and lets not forget about the snakes and spiders that were released after being used as an experiment. Some low ranking demons are also found here as well but due to the charms outside the forest they rarely find their way out of the forest or even know there is a way out. The Page to Exwire exam is usually held here in this very same forest and most of the students never make it out alive.

It wasn't often he came here, but when he did it was to check up on things and to make sure there weren't any berserk demons out during the day. Although the demons were very weak compared to him, he took no chances, having both of his Desert Eagles drawn and ready in case. He walked casually and calm like his usual demeanor placed him, scanning the area for any anomalies. He was only going to make sure things were alright in one area and return to the building. A sigh came from his lips. He seemed to do that quite alot when he was bored. It looked like everything was clear here so he decided it was best to return, his guns going back into their rightful spots, in holsters, just under his arm pits. The holsters were specially made so the would conceal the guns when not in use even if he had taken his jacket off. He finally reached the trail the lead back to the entrance of the forest and made his was out.

[✯] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ [✯] "I am more than just a means to an end." Audrianna arrived in the forest first, as she thought she would. Her wolf demon familiar could travel faster than the students she left behind. The Forest of Screams was off-limits to all students, but in this case, it was apart of their exam. The Cram School should forgive her trespassing once they talk to their teacher about the test she had given out. Audrianna didn't know why the students had to be here, of all places. The perks of it being a forest full of demons was that most of the demons would be Kin of Amaimon. However, that was awful the bad part. The Kin of Amaimon either left the young princess alone, or they tried to bring her back to Gehenna to her father. If Audrianna's father wanted to see her, he would come to Assiah and find her. It was not her duty to reconnect with her father. Her father had to be the one to come to her.
As Nymeria entered the forest, her fur spiked on her back. She could sense all kinds of dangers leaking from the center of the forest, and she kept her guard up. "Audrianna, I don't like the fact the school is leading you into this place. I spend a lot of time here, and there are not nice creatures dwelling here." Nymeria stopped a little ways into the forest, so the group could catch up to them. Audrianna knew they had to go to the forest because Ignazio had mentioned it before. She wanted to follow him out, but Nymeria couldn't stand moving slower than she had to. "Don't start worrying about me now, Nymeria. I can handle myself." Audrianna got off her demon wolf counterpart and stood beside her, scanning the trees with her eyes. Her right hand was placed on the back of Nymeria, feeling her soft coat beneath her hand. "Yes, I know you can, but you can't handle yourself with other people around. Your power is limited." Audrianna was slightly tuning her familiar out. She could feel a strong force nearby, but wasn't sure what it was just yet. She knew Nymeria could feel it too, by the way her fur was standing on end and her teeth began to bare. "Nymeria, is it coming towards us?" Nymeria's fangs were dripping as she said "I can't tell..." Audrianna remained still as she kept scanning the forest. Nymeria's eyes were shifting back and forth as well as she looked for the source of the oncoming danger. The demon was good at hiding its aura, but not good enough. It could be hidden well against exorcists, but being a half-demon Audrianna could tell something was near by. She still couldn't pin-point it, though. Plus, Audri was a skilled tracker. She had to be since she ran for her life most of her time since birth. She still fought everyday just to keep breathing. She would just have to wait to see if the demon showed itself, or was merely passing through.

Exwire Ignazio came not too long after Audrianna reached the Forest of Screams. He was feeling a little better at this point and most of his energy had returned. For anything that he would need to do tonight he didn’t feel it would need a lot of his power. The walk over wasn’t too long but it was long enough for the young tamer to come up with a strategy or two encase of trouble as well as battle formation and just normal formations for walking. Ignazio walked over to the wolf demon and then smiled. ”Sorry I refused you before, I hope you’re not too mad at me and the others, we just don’t want to appear weak. I’m Ignazio, it’s nice to meet you, what’s your name?” Ignazio said as he held his right hand out for the wolf to identify him by scent. Being a tamer Ignazio could hear demons through their telepathic wavelengths. So speaking with a demon through telepathy was a special gift of Tamers. He kneeled down and then removed his small backpack from his shoulders and then placed in next to him as he unzipped it with his left hand and then began to dig around the inside of the bag before pulling out three small flashlights. He placed them in the grass in a strange formation in a slight staggered line before grabbing his strategy notebook from his bag and opening it up. The pages flipped as the wind blew through them. The pages were written in multiple languages and had pictures as well, Ignazio was a true strategist. He made sure to draw demons and humans with as much detail as possible or he would take a picture of them and put them in the book with glue.
Eventually he made it to a blank page and he took his right hand away from the wolf and grabbed an ink pen from the inside of his blazer. The pin had different functions for different colored inks; he began to write in the book and draw circles and then wrote names about each circle with a different color. Red was for Ignazio, Green was for Audrianna, Yellow was for Lloyd, Blue was Alexandria, and finally Black for Victor. Ignazio wrote everything in English so everyone could understand what he was doing when they arrived in order to make it through the forest and out alive. Ignazio, Victor, and Alexandria all had to go through the Forest of Screams last year for their Exwire exam, but last year they had teachers with them. This year they were on their own with pages. Being the guide of the group Ignazio would take the head and being the one with the most physical power Victor would take up the rear. The two knights would be in the middle and Audrianna would be directly behind Ignazio, seeing how both used familiars with battle use they would be able to handle the head of the group. But the reason why Ignazio and Victor had their spots was due to their skills as Aria. The forest was extremely dark and the moonlight sometimes never makes it through the trees and some of the demons that were found in there were not the nicest ever. ”I like to be prepared, you see, my mother always taught me that a skill and strength may win battles but a strategy decides life or death as well as how one leaves a battle. My father and sister disagree with this theory though, but it hasn’t done me wrong yet.”
Writing next to the circle he wrote: ‘Travel Formation’ this would be the method in which they walked through the forest, in a straight line, being able to cover each other’s backs. In order to keep blood sucking demons away, such as Chuchi the two Arias would be able to create enough light from their Qi which not only would light their way but kill the Chuchi as they touched the light. Ignazio then wrote down the point of the flashlights, they were to mark their position with the forest, they would turn the flashlights on and place them with a tree to light the way back to the Academy. Since Ignazio only had three flash lights he figured they could place one flashlight every two thousand meters in or four thousand meters. He continued to write the thoughts down as they came to him. He then flipped the page and wrote at the top of the page: ‘Battle Formation’ Ignazio’s positioning changed from the front line to the rear line while Alexandria, Victor, and Lloyd took the frontlines and Audrianna took the middle, creating an inverted pyramid of sorts. This format was then labeled large area. Next to that Ignazio created another formation which was more of a circle with each of the circles close to each other with a small gap between but no gap in the middle. Ignazio labeled this closed area or multiple enemies.
Although after that Ignazio remember they were missing a party member, which was the ‘son of Iblis’ Homura; Ignazio scratched the back of his head and then drew a line and began to reformate everyone. Using brown ink to symbolize Homura. For the traveling formation Homura was placed in front of Alexandria, in the large area battle formation Audrianna was moved to the rear line with Ignazio, Homura and Lloyd were moved to the front line and Alexandria and Victor were moved to the middle line. This formation looked a lot like a large diamond. Then it came to the small quarter area, and sing how the only one there that was an actual doctor was Alexandria she would go into the middle of the circle and the positioning of the circle changed for where everyone was standing. Ignazio sighed and then looked up at the full moon. ”I can’t believe I forgot to add him into the strategy, although seeing how he wasn’t at the courtyard or anything I’m going to assume he won’t be here which is sad, because, well he won’t pass the exam if he doesn’t.”

[✯] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ [✯] "I am more than just a means to an end." Nymeria out stretched her neck and sniffed Ignazio's hand, as most human world dogs would do. She wasn't smelling for earthly smell, though. She was smelling his Qi. Demon wolves, along with other demon dog breeds, could track Qi by smell. Nymeria was smelling him to smell how much Qi he had and how powerful he truly was. Nymeria would not accept a weakling knowing Audrianna's secret. If came down to it, Ignazio would have to keep her secret to the bitter end. Nymeria stopped sniffing Ignazio's hand and looked up to him. "Well they didn't have to act so disgusted. I'm Nymeria, the princess's familiar. If they only knew who I truly was they--" Audrianna bolted a glare down to Nymeria "Enough. I am not royalty here. I am a threat. We can't pretend this is Gehenna..." Nymeria turned her head away from Audrianna, insulted. She got that way sometimes. Although Nymeria was her familiar and loyal companion, she was independent as ever. That was what happened when you got a lone wolf to follow you, somehow.
Audrianna then watched as Ignazio began to set up flashlights and write out formations. Audri was pretty good at battle formations too, but she wouldn't interrupt Ignazio to add ideas. Interrupting a fast train of thought could end the idea completely, and she didn't want to do that. However, something was daunting on her. She knew there was evil nearby, but she couldn't pinpoint it. The demon might be after them, but then again, it could just be a demon in the forest. That was never unheard of. Demons didn't often leave people alone, though, unless they were on a different mission completely. "Ignazio, being prepared is key and your plan is flawless. Which is why I need to mention that I think there's something pretty strong in this forest." Nymeria's eyes were shifting from tree to tree again. Although the forest was very dark, her night vision was clear. She couldn't see anything yet, but danger was indeed nearby. "I don't know if it's after us. I can't pinpoint it exactly and neither can Nymeria. But let's stay on our toes. I know a strong demon isn't unheard of here, but it's an unsettling feeling..." Audrianna hated the feeling of stronger demons than her in the area. She had been running her whole life, and whenever she got that feeling, it meant it was time to move locations. She either had to fight or run for her life, and it situations that she knew were hopeless, she ran. This time could be different, though, because she had Nymeria, Ignazio, and all the other classmates with her. Audrianna looked at Ignazio with guilty eyes and a gloomed expression as she said "Me being on this team may draw more attention and danger than the class needs...." before any other class mates were in earshot. Audrianna often didn't care about anyone, however, she didn't want people dying because demons were coming after her. Maybe it would be best if she just quit now before anyone loses their life due to her birth right.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || Exwire It was too long till Alexandria reached the forest; she could see Ignazio had approached the wolf. It seemed to accept his offering, smelling his hand before backing off. She hadn't heard Audrianna’s words about the forest and presence of a stronger demon force. She was no demon tracker- it seemed not unlike their previous trip to the woods some time before. Only this time they would be there on their own account; unprotected by their teachers and left to their own devices. That and in the company of pages who likely hadn't set foot in the place before. Perhaps it was better that way- perhaps it was just more dangerous.
As Alexandria drew near to the small group she watched as the boy began to pull objects from the bag he had been carrying- some flashlights, a notebook and pen. Peering over his shoulder she watched him write out his plans and strategies for how they would go about making their way through the forest. Noting there was a number of different colors to symbolize a person and formations based off terrain. It wasn't likely they would always be in the open after all. He began to speak about the boy named Homura- how he’d fail if he didn't come to the forest soon. And how he hadn't been in the courtyard earlier. ”He knows where we are meeting. He will either come or he won’t. That simple.” She said with a shrug, beginning to pace away from Ignazio’s side. Stopping a few meters away to wait for the their classmates to arrive, it was now just a waiting game. Alexandria wondered what they would face this time. Their previous trip was.. interesting at best. But this time there was no one to save them if the tides turned for the worst.

Homura had let a faint sigh escape his features, as he looked from left to right, his amber hues rolling around his pearl white eyes in a slow motion as if scanning the canvas for something. Homura slowly closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath as he reached into his left pocket retrieving his pack of d-cigs, placing the cig in between his lips lighting it with his stainless steel flip top lighter, the smell seemed to begin to draw out some lesser demons, who seemed to almost determined to test there boundary of how far they could go before being detected. That being one thing that he could not stand, was being messed with while having a good smoke session, The crimson haired male finished the cig tossing two feet infront of him, stepping on it making sure it was fully extinguished, his ears perked as he came across an opening.
Homura let out a faint sigh as he noticed the first to come into view, would be no other then Ignazio, the male simply seemed to be off putting towards Homura. His presence alone was the sort, that Homura would prefer to avoid, unless given no other choice. As the male had nearly given up on finding a friendly, beauty to rest his gaze upon, he took notice to the proverbial silver lining, in his case instead of it being silver it was more of a emerald lining. Homura took quick notice of the emerald maiden who seemed to have alot on her mind, with regards to there meeting here. Homura felt a strange presence in the forest, it seemed to be lurking deep within the shadows, but the male had not interest in dark, and gloomy. As the male made his way across the forestry, he looked towards Ignazio for a split second as if to say something, before realizing he could not bring himself to strike a conversation with another male.
"Hello emerald maiden, I do not believe I was given the proper chance to introduce myself to you, my name is Homura Kagari, if you do not mind my asking what is your name?" He said with a smile across his face, Homura stood about 4 feet away from the young lady, wondering what she would respond with, he had been hoping for a cutie greet like -Hi cutie-, or -hello homu-homu- that would utterly make his day. After staring off into space for a slight moment, he waited for the young woman's reply. She at the time seemed to be more focused on more important things, hopefully things would turn out better soon, otherwise this would be nothing more then a dull waste of time. Homura knew that Ignazio would be requesting his attention soon enough, but until then he would spend his time looking at the beauty that stood before him.

Exwire Ignazio smiled at the wolf and then looked up at Audrianna ”Don’t worry about it. You’ll be fine and with the number of demons in there no will be able to tell friendly fire from an enemy. Just don’t miss your target. I’ll be there to make sure you hit your target, so don’t worry.” he whispered to her as he handed her the flashlights. “Since you have Nymeria, you can reach high branches and angle these with ease so it hits the path and still manage to get down without being attacked by Chuchi. So you’ll be setting up the flashlights. I only have three of these. So we have to be sure to spread them out an equal distance from each other.” Ignazio said as he slowly raised his body from the ground and looked over at Alexandria then smiled as he looked up at the moon once again. ”Stop being such a worry wart. You’re an Exwire now, most of the time Exwires get chances like this they get placed as a leader of a squad with a teacher as their advisor. Just hope you don’t have to have the Succubus as an advisor.” but right when he finished his sentence he picked up on Homura’s aura and then slowly turned to face him. He reached down and grabbed the notebook and then went over to Homura and stood in front of him so he couldn’t speak to Audrianna. ”Kagari. We don’t have time for your stupidity, if you want to ask Audrianna on a date do it after and get shut down like you always do so we all can laugh after we pass the exam. So what you need to do is memorize these battle formations and notes. I’m going to explain them one time when everyone gets here, but I’d appreciate you a little more if you actually took the time to get a step up. You’re the only one out of the group with pretty much all failing grades.” he said as he pushed the notebook closer to Homura’s face and then took a step forward as well showing his cold expression he usually has when he’s talking seriously to anyone. It was quite frightening to see when you’re on the receiving end but when you’re just watching from the side it was quite funny. As Ignazio stared down Homura he sighed and then held out the notebook normally. ”Just use the head on your shoulders rather than the one between your legs. Women hate people like you nowadays, you have no elegance or grace about your style. That may work in a bar, but these are actual women. Get it together and be a team player for now, you wimpy candle stick.”

Moving through the forest was rather dull, and while the air of the forest was certainly ominous, nothing felt off to him. It may have been because of the training he received as a child in the mountains near the castle, but he just was not easily scared anymore. "I don't like this. Something is out there." Celebron's voice in his head actually sounded worried for once, and the thought of his familiar being nervous didn't sit well with him. "Seeing as its you whose worried, I'll be extra careful. This, I promise you." Celebron then readjusted himself on Lloyd's shoulder as the blonde male approached the group. It seemed as though Homura had chosen to show up as well, but his appearance was not as important as the formations Ignazio had begun creating. Each formation had minor changes to them, but for the most part he was either at the very front, or towards the front in each formation. Sadly, he could not help but stare blankly at the formation that had him up front with Homura. If the male was going to be just as reckless as he was when it came to breaking down the barrier in the Library, could he honestly expect him to do better if it came to a life or death situation. Sighing softly, he folded his arms across his chest before waiting to see if the male would do anything else besides flirt with Audrianna.
Ignazio was quick to destroy any amounts of flirting that were coming from the male by pointing out his bad grades and inability to land dates. While the male continued berating him, Lloyd took the opportunity to move over besides Audrianna. "I extend a hand of gratitude towards both you and your familiar. Should the need arise, I hope neither of you will mind me riding along?" questioned Lloyd as he looked back and forth between Audriana and her familiar. He was not sure what she would think of his question, but as he waited, a hand went to the top of Celebron's head in order to pet the Cat Sidhe. Now, they were missing only one member of their little party, and when Victor arrived, things could finally get under way. "After this, your promised we'd go eat something. Can we get a steak!?"" Putting a finger to the demon's mouth, he attempted to calm the Cat Sidhe down so that he could focus on the task at hand.

[✯] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ [✯] "I am more than just a means to an end." Audrianna nodded as Ignazio told her the plan of action. Truth be told, Audrianna didn't need Nymeria to climb trees, however, her wolf demon did help her disguise her demon abilities. She couldn't be more thankful to her faithful companion for that. She took the flashlights from Ignazio, and placed two of them in her uniform jacket pockets and held the third one in her left hand. Audrianna wasn't sure if Ignazio's words about demons in the forest comforted her or not. It didn't matter how many demons were attacking, it mattered on why they were attacking. With two heirs to thrones in Gehenna walking around together, a lot of attention would be drawn to the group for that reason alone.
Speaking of the other half-demon, it seemed as though Homura decided to show up. Nymeria's head shot around as the demon wolf stared daggers into the boy's face. Her hair was standing on end on her back as she focused her thoughts to Audrianna. "Audri, that boy...he's--" Audrianna never turned her face towards Nymeria. She, too, was now starring at Homura. However, her gaze wasn't hostile like Nymeria's. It was merely blank and uninterested, like it was most of the time. "I know, Nymeria. I know." Nymeria was shocked that Audrianna had yet to disclose that information with her. There would be a talking too sometime later. Nymeria thought she was Audrianna's mother figure sometimes, but most occasions she was a worried friend. Audrianna found it funny when her familiar tried to scold her or got angry at her disclosure of information, but she just hadn't gotten a good chance to catch Nymeria up. She would definitely have to do that later.
As Homura approached, he seemed to have come up with a new nickname for Audri. 'Emerald maiden' it was. Audri wondered if this was because of her dark green eyes, or perhaps because of her green accessories. Her favorite color was green, but there was no way for him to know that. Audrianna raised an eyebrow in confusion at the boy, not knowing what his scheme was. She had never been flirted with or hit on before, so it never crossed her mind that that was what Homura was doing. She knew he had an ulterior motive for acting the way he was to her. Before Audrianna was allowed to speak, though, it seemed as though Ignazio stepped in front of her to speak for her. He was being awfully protective in his voice, statements, and even his stance. What was he protecting her from? Audrianna's eyes were shifting rapidly around Ignazio's back, studying his body language. He was definitely trying to protect her. What was wrong with Homura? Audri and him had a lot more in common than most random strangers meeting could say. Did Ignazio know something she didn't? Audrianna starred at the back of Ignazio's head as he insulted their classmate. She didn't know what to say, really. This wasn't her battle to fight. She did wonder why Ignazio went all big brother mode. He had talked all night about protecting her, but Audri didn't need to be protected. That wasn't her worry. Her worry was about the protection of all the others.
When Lloyd appeared, he seemed to make a spot beside Audrianna and Nymeria. Nymeria's left hand dangled lazily at her side while holding the flashlight and her right hand was placed firmly on her hip. She was watching the show between Ignazio and Homura, not really amused with either of them. When Lloyed asked about riding with her and Nymeria, she looked at him rather surprised. Her eyes were wider and her eyebrows were down, and her mouth was flat after his expression. "Of course. Anything to get this exam over with." Audrianna then looked down at Nymeria, who had decided to lay down in the grass still watching the forest trees, and then looked back up at Lloyd. "The ride may get bumpy, though, because Nymeria can change her body from wood or to earth at will." Nymeria only shifted elements on command by Audrianna or if she felt she was in immediate danger. It was quite a remarkable thing to witness, but it's another thing to actually feel the transformation for yourself. Audrianna then looked at Lloyd's familiar. It was a cat, and a rather hyper one at that. It seemed as though the group would not be lacking in the help of demons department. The more friendly demons around, the better sensing skills they would have.

Homura's had a slight grin across his face, as Ingazio spoke towards him. The male seemed hell bent on making sure that Homura stay focused on the task at hand, which surprisingly enough he had started to grow an interest in. The male placed the front end of his right hand behind his head rubbing it slowly, he still was attempting to understand the whole *socialize* thing, but it was something that could be figured out later. The male's amber hues showed some interest at the male, the first time he had ever shown an interest in what a male had to say, up until now. Homura's ears perked up to the fact that he would be indeed shut down, thinking to himself ~Well see.~ Homura look towards Ignazio, and asked one question. "What exactly am I needed for?" He asked somewhat confused at what was going on, as Homura looked down at the ground attempting to figure out what exactly had he walked into. Before the male could get an answer, he over heard the one known as Audrianna, go on about transportation, he had a feeling that things would begin to get interesting very quickly. Homura couldn't help but let a small smile appear upon his features.

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year Victor came jogging by, keeping his footwork light as not to make too much noise. He had made a report to a friend before entering the forest to insure his security and that of his friends if they were not to exit as quickly as they wanted. He could see the others just ahead down the path but the trees hid much of the moonlight and they had to rely on flashlights. In that kind of environment, Victor had been taught to be a sensor before a doer. Feeling about and gathering the lay of the land was paramount the first time he had been there for the Exwire exams and now, it seemed to call upon a cautionary aura from Victor. In the forest, Victor was all business. Stepping closer to the others, Victor could already see Homura making moves on the girls and wanted no part in it. It was easy to see that he might not be worth the trouble. He had felt his Qi rushing into the forest as Victor made his way in after a phone call and knew that being in such a close proximity of him might cause a problem.
Counting heads, Victor was the last to arrive and decided to head right up with their 'squad leader'. Ignazio seemed to have formulated formation in which to travel and had chosen wisely. "Alright, what do we got?" Victor asked rhetorically. A single file in low light conditions as those of that scenario was ideal. There was a formation for every type of terrain and encounter although he didn't see one for retreat. The plan with the flashlights was feasible but limited them to a few hours with full batteries and that is if they weren't covered in snow somehow. After a few moments of studying, Victor nodded and looked up at Ignazio. "I got it. I trust the plan but just what are we looking for here, Ignazio?" Victor asked, his expression inquisitive.

Exwire Looking at Victor he closed the book and then walked over to his bag and placed it away before throwing the single shoulder strap over his back and then turned and faced the group again. ”As you know this is all for the fact we don’t want to get kicked out of True Cross, after translating all the notes and thinking it over there are only two creatures that fit the descriptions within the text. One a Behemoth and two a Hydra, both of which are highly dangerous and S-Ranked creatures, the assignment was clearly geared to get everyone to team up of some sort. We unfortunately weren’t told which creature would be the guardian of the forest. The task we were instructed with was find the lake within the forest and retrieve a chest from the bottom of the lake. Now, the formations I came up with are pretty basic so everyone can utilize their skills based off what I know from each of you. We will strike fast and hard while providing defense at the same time. The forest is layered in traps and spells according to the text given to us. Also there apparently is a way to score extra points on the exam but it didn’t explain that. ” he said as he turned around and looked at the forest then took a few steps before finding a small rock on the ground and then tossed it a few times in his hand before looking at a single point in the forest and throwing the rock directly at it. But before the rock could even breech the threshold of the forest it was destroyed and a large azure field of energy flickered around the forest.
”There’s that.” he said as he turned back and looked at the group. ”Seeing how the only Arias here are myself and Victor, we’ll work on removing the barrier, but just know that once the barrier is removed the miasma of the forest will be in full effect, we can’t feel it now but once we get inside it will be possible for most of us to be killed by it. So while Victor and I work on breaking the barrier Audrianna and Alexandria I want you guys to figure out a method for us to lessen the effects of the miasma or cancel them completely within our bodies with some type of medicine or antivirus. I’m pretty sure some of the plants around here, has already been effected by the miasma before so you should be able to get a test subject from that. It’ll take us about thirty minutes if not less to find a weak point in the barrier and then break through.” Ignazio said as he turned and looked at Lloyd and then slowly turned and looked at Homura. ”Keep him out of trouble will ya, Lloyd? He’s our secret weapon if we can motivate him enough. If we are forced to fight a fully grown Hydra we can use the Purification Flames to destroy it easily but if it’s a Behemoth…well let’s just hope it’s not a Behemoth. Those things really are dangerous.” Ignazio said before muttering the last part about the Behemoth then started to clap his hands ”Alright everyone okay with those tasks? Anymore questions?”

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || Exwire It would have seemed the entirety of their group had made their way to the forest. Homura came first, giving Audrianna perhaps one of his typical advances. The Barthomeloi boy chided Homura’s talk as quickly as he seemed to read her thoughts. Alexandria said nothing to his words, she knew he was right but she also didn't believe this was a typical jaunt in the forest as ‘leader’ of a group of pages. After a short while both Lloyd and Victor had come to join them and soon after Ignazio began his explanation over what they may find in the forest. It would seem they were to retrieve something from the bottom of the lake. But they would have to be weary of a particularly strong demon, one that was likely illegal due to how dangerous it was.'Great..' Alexandria thought as he went on to explain who was to do what as they began to prepare their journey into the forest. She was to work with Audrianna to create a ‘cure’ to the poison that corrupted the place.
Alexandria walked closer to the forest studying the ground. Ignazio’s words about plants being affected by the miasma were true. However as she drew closure to where the barrier might be it was easy to see some of the wild plants seemed “healthy” having developed their own antidote to the toxin. Alexandria stopped and crouched low to the ground as she looked at the plants before her, one seemed healthy. And the other appeared severely dehydrated, but on closer inspection the leaves were in fact hemorrhaging the water that was once contained in the cells. ‘It would seem the miasma causes breakdown over time in the cells, long term exposure would kill the host. It isn't unlike my Abrin poison. Only that doesn't need continual exposure. Once is enough.’ She thought to herself as she looked back over her shoulder eyeing the plants that would be further away from the forest. Looking back to the two before her it would appear her theory about the miasma needing continual exposure was correct. The plants further away that had been effected seemed to have healthy growths on them and the effected parts would rot away. While the effected plant before her would surely die in a matter of days. Alexandria called out to Audrianna, ”What do you make of this?” She asked, glancing only briefly to small group that surrounded the girl. Alexandria then looked back to the plants before her. It would seem the best course of action would to gather the "healthy" looking plants near the forest and make a compound from them, but perhaps Audrianna had a better plan of action.

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year Ignazio informed everyone of the plan and their roles. It made sense except for the part about lighting the way. He knew that the blood sucking demons of the forest would be on them like mosquitos but to shed light on them was like calling out to the entire forest for chow time. The part about the S-Rank demon made Victor a bit more concerned but they had considerable man power when all the tamers called upon their familiars. The prospect of extra credit was mention but not how to obtain it. Victor was sure it would become apparent once they reached their target. While Alexandria worked on a solution for the miasma of the forest with Audrianna, Victor raises his hand slightly to Ignazio. "Yeah, I got one. I first want to say what a well thought out plan you have. But, considering the time we have left and the size of the forest, wouldn't you want to travel without having to fend off the hordes of demons inside? With both of us projecting light, that would attract unwanted attention and possibly force us to change formation and respond to attacks." Victor said, using his hands. "I suggest that Audrianna make use of her wolf type familiar to scout ahead. I assume she has night vision and would blend better considering that this forest harbors wolves as well." Victor then crossed his arms as he continued. "We could create a barrier for the group, merely hiding our Qi signatures and protecting us from any traps that Audrianna's familiar missed. Plus, with their telepathic connection, they could communicate without making a sound. Of course, that would have to put Audrianna in the front to lead us. Another possible advantage to that could be that with that demon's sniffing ability, finding water shouldn't be a problem, assuming that it isn't covered in a barrier of it's own." Victor looked between Audrianna and Ignazio for a moment for them to take in what he had said before continuing. "That would leave the matter of retracing our steps without flashlights. I thought about putting a small amount of my Qi or yours into a tree every, say, one hundred meters, and track that signature back out." Victor finished. His plan had a few things that relied on certain variables but he hoped it wouldn't be so different in the forest than the last time he had been there.
