Archimedes trotted around humming to himself quietly. He felt he needed to get out more. Since he got here he hadn't gone out for a long time. He figured it would be the best way to make some friends or perhaps meet a nice mare and settle down. He swished his tail to and fro idly.He continued to hum to himself. It bothered him that he hadn't gone out more.Arabian Knight hummed to himself as he took a stroll around the meadow. Observing the areas around him and seeing if he could meet some friends or perhaps meet a nice mare to settle down with. He lightly blew out a breath and looked around.

 Calypso had been galloping along through the meadow and minding her own business until she caught sight of two stallions up ahead. Immediately she threw on her brakes and came to a stop, dust flying up around her. Now the possibilities were racing through her mind faster than she could comprehend. The main question on her mind though was "Are they friendly?" Calypso had gotten herself into some tough spots with stallions before and she didn't fancy having another episode here. She studied their behavior, they didn't appear threatening so that, at least, was a good sign. She moved forward at a very slow trot. When she was closer to them she paused again and wondered if she should say something. She eventually decided against it, it would probably be best if the stallions made the first move, that way at least she would know if they were really nice, or had just looked it from afar.

Archimedes' Ears flicked forward as he sensed a mare nearby, he lightly glanced around and with some success he spotted a black and white mare. Before standing up and carefully approached her. "What brings you out here on your own? Fair lady" he asked tilting his head to the side a bit. He didn't want to startle the mare.
Arabian Knight blinked as he noticed his companion venture off. He tilted his head and got up curious to know what had drawn his attention. He blinked as he noticed a mare and debated whether or not to approach her too. Archimedes seemed to be doing alright, but at the same time he wanted to venture over and find out the mare's name.

Calypso was very cautious as the stallion approached, however when he spoke he seemed to be quite the gentleman and she relaxed a little, her tail swishing gently behind her. She raised her head just a little higher before she responded to his question. "Why... I'm just out for a walk, it's such a beautiful day, I couldn't possibly waste it laying around."
Calypso noticed that the other stallion was still hanging back and she tilted her head and nickered quietly, and invitation, an unspoken come closer. She wondered if he would, after all, most stallions weren't in the habit of taking orders from mares.

Archimedes tilted his head 'Ah...I see. It is a lovely day out and it would be a shame to waste it away lying around and doing nothing" he agreeded with her. "I apologize, my Name is Archimedes and you are?" he asked the mare as politely as he could.
Arabian Knight's ears flicked forwards as the mare nickered quietly. He stood up and stretched before venturing over to join Archimedes and Calypso. He waited for her to answer Archimedes' question about her name. Meeting a mare was something that wasn't seen very often, probably because he didn't get out enough, that depressed him a little.

The young mare shifted her weight from side to side, a clear sign she was anxious but she hoped the stallions didn't notice. She didn't really get out much herself and her social skills were a little rusty. She flushed when she realized she hadn't introduced herself yet, such bad manners! She shook out her mane and replied in such a way she hoped she could save some small part of a good first impression. "My name is Calypso. It's nice to meet you Archimedes... and..." she cast a glance to the other stallion, a quizzical look on her face as she waited to see if he would join in on the conversation.

Archimedes shuffled back a few paces catching a glint of her shifting her weight. He gave her some room, it looked like she was anxious. He bowed lightly "Pleasure to meet you Miss Calypso" he put in. He blinked as Arabian Knight joined them. He wondered if he would introduce himself or if he had to do it for him. As long as he's known Arabian Knight, he was pretty social. "Ah..I apologize...My name is Arabian Knight...or you know Arabian for short" he said bowing politely as well. "Nice to meet you Calypso" he put in. He swished his tail to and fro as he stood beside Archimedes. His own social skills needed some work, he didn't get out much either.

The small mare let out a short sigh of relief as the larger stallion backed up a little bit and gave her some space. Still, she was embarrassed that she had been so obvious in her discomfort, she had been trying to cover it up. Obviously she needed to work more on that area of self control. She dipped her head to the first stallion to acknowledge she'd heard his words but she didn't speak because the other stallion was approaching and she was curious about what he would say.
"It's nice to meet you as well Arabian Knight. May I ask what the two of you are doing all the way out here? I very rarely come across another pony so far from the coastal area or the herd territories." The little mare was quite curious as to why two stallions would be out in the middle of nowhere instead of trying to round up members for their own herds.

He smiled to himself glad that the mare felt a lot more relaxed. He thought about her question thoughtfully. "just you know, enjoying a lovely day and walk, I suppose" he said. "its just you know a crime to stay inside and laze around on such a beautiful day" he put in. He glanced at Arabian Knight and tilted his head. he was usually a lot more social.
Arabian Knight glanced at Calypso and nodded his head agreeing with Archimedes. "Nice to meet you Miss Calypso" he answered. "As for what we are doing way out here, just enjoying the beautiful weather then we are having" he put in nodding his head once again.
