As you'll find out quickly once you start frequenting this area often, once you're on the island...there isn't a whole lot of driving room. You go from the bridge to the mall, the mall to the school, the school to the mall, and BOOM...you're back at the bridge again. ...I know, it's a little disappointing for a city this size, but hey, I spent a whole year in this city and never went anywhere other than this little loop. Except that shrine, but the people there were depressing...err...sometimes.

Anyway, you're crossing the bridge again and starting on a straight run to the outskirts of town. That's the finish line for the Beginner's Race, but also the place where the next two levels of races really open up.

Haoul smirked as he pulled further ahead, turning around just long enough to see the silverette starting to pick up the pace. If he hadn't been keeping up the speed like he was, she might have gained some serious ground there.
"Too bad." he grinned, continuing along the bridge. They were coming up on the outside of Iwatodai, and a part where they could have ended their race....
Kanade bit her lip, frustrated at how the man had kept up his own ridiculous pace, even as she started to gain some ground. He was moving as fast as he could...but she was still trailing behind.
"Come on!" she snapped, pulling on her engine more, as she managed to skillfully weave through the cars from before. She had to catch up at least...It was embarrassing to be so far behind.

Saiga managed to pull ahead, even as he started to gain on her, gunning her bike as she moved across the bridge once more, weaving through traffic. She had to try to maintain her lead, yet she couldn't move her eyes from the road. If she'd turned her attention away for but a second, it could be too late, and she could end up a splat on the ground. She had no intentions of being mourned over in the Shrine for Tatsumi Port Island...

With Kiki-Jiki making it easily towards the bridge the second go around, he could tell he needed to catch back up real soon. He was behind most of the first go. And, if the gap spread any further, it would be hard to catch back up.

Saiga kept manuvering, keeping the gap between her and Kanade slim as she moved through the cars, and they made it back onto the bridge.
"Not bad, not bad." She commended. "But I'm right on your Tail. Can you keep it up?"
Kanade almost wanted to slam on her brakes, and see if she couldn't stop her that way. The whole idea of the race was...absurd...Though, she couldn't do that to a friend of Shu's.
Oh, and she probably wouldn't take that too well. she had to remind herself, thinking the girl had far too much energy, and a bit more vitality than she was supposed to. And on top of that, she looked just so much like Keira...It was unsettling.
"Just...watch and see." she called plainly, as she continued driving, doing her best to try to pull ahead. She might have lost her race before, but surely...

Faustus Necromonium
Faust watched as Nix and the thuggish-looking figure pulled ahead, contending for first place. He had started to speed up for a bit, as he glanced around for Yosuke.
"I do hope he's alright.." Faust mused lightly to himself, as they emerged back on the moonlit bridge, continuing their path. He didn't anticipate being able to pull ahead of the two, but he did feel that he could at least keep up.
"Do be careful everyone.. .

He could still hear it. He could still hear that voice from long ago, beating down upon him as he returned to the Moonlight Bridge. 'Hanamura, if you ever got a motorcycle, you'd just end up wrecking it off a bridge like the little s**t-for-brains you are! Mark my words...you suck, ya jackass.' Okay, so he'd done poorly through here just moments before, but this time if he just stayed the course and didn't loose control of the wheel, he'd be fine. But as he crossed onto the bridge, he felt his fingers tightening. Were those rails coming closer...was it just his psyche playing tricks on him, or?"Nooooooo! King Moron, why do you curse me from the graaaaveee!!!"

Right off the edge of the bridge, and onto a dock, putting him AHEAD of the pack!

"And that Senpai you were so sweet on? Her death was the perfect excuse!"

The bridge again. With the sun just going down, the lights of the city illuminated the road perfectly, and it kind of felt like Port Island was a little slice of paradise. For years Gin had lived here, but it was only when he finally earned his license, and sat on his first motorcycle that he learned what it was like to truly feel so free. There was a sense of not being tied down, of flying even...but to describe it to someone who never wanted to give it a try would have just been a waste of words."Keep up you guys!"

"Tch, although you thought that this race was close, it's just about time for me to make my final move!" Nanjou shouted as they crossed into the fourth stage of the race, the last one just ahead of them. There wasn't much road left, and he had to admit that the kid with brown hair was putting up a much more competent fight than he could have imagined....but he wasn't finished with this race yet.

Shu had skidded to a half, before his bike hit some kind of speed bump, and he started to launch into the air, flipping several times, and all in general, having him nearly lose his lunch. However, as he landed, his bike started back up with a roar, and he moved, ending up pulling ahead again as he shrieked.
"Gonna be sick..Gonna be sick..I'm Gonna be sick."
Haoul blinked as the man spun out...then rocketed ahead again. The guy with the number 1 on his jacket was starting to get serious, pulling ahead of the pack, before the brown haired figure moved ahead yet again.
"What the actual hell is going on this race.."

On the whole, it was actually a fairly interesting track. Nice design, colorful style, plenty of pedestrians to swerve and avoid... some people just wouldn't be satisfied no matter what happened, though. Which was probably inevitable, really. Ah, well. At least she was getting to enjoy the scenery, right?

The bridge was a good place to build up speed for the final leg, which meant that it was all going to come down to how he performed here. If he kept his cool then there was no telling what would happen; if not, then it looked like this race was going to end, and he'd end up having to cut his losses this time.

Saiga watched Shu skid out, then flip ahead, and land back, faster again, and pulling ahead of the number 1 guy.
"I can't believe this.." she muttered, as she gunned her engine, trying to regain lost ground, and catch up. Shu had been doing rather well, but they were coming up on the end.....And the biker guy seemed far too serious to lose here.
