His eyes were still beaming the deadly maroon from earlier as he made contact with Lucy. "Eh? You're in your dorm? .. No boys allowed huh? How about you just meet me at the City's park then?" He ended his message quickly. The dreaded sun boiled his light skin and overall ruined his mood. Enzo sighed as he looked down on his clothing. "This won't do." He thought to himself. A small smirk crossed his face as he approached a rather elegant and fancy clothing store. And with a blink of an eye, Enzo was gone and a small fog of smoke entered into the shop. He reformed himself again inside the men's dressing rooms. "Too easy." He remarked to himself while patting off invisible dust from his shoulder. Enzo left the dressing room and picked out a nicer and more comfortable outfit to wear compared to his sluggish fit for school. Walking back to the same dressing room he left from, he examined himself with the body sized mirror. "That's more like it." The black suit he picked out made him look as if he belonged to a royal family or make him look destined to rule a nation but other than that he liked the serious look it gave him. Afterwards, Enzo returned to his foggy smoke state and exited with store with no questions asked. True, he used his powers immorally but in the world he came from, there was no such thing as "good". The fog traveled towards the park where he was to meet and greet Lucy and possibly have a word or two with Holly.】 ════════════════════════════════════════

A flash of light appeared, and Lucy along with it. The expression upon Lucy's face was surprise, awe. Had Holly just made her teleport? Was this one of her abilities? "Don't be so shocked. There's much more where that comes from." Holly chided. The black, glowing mark of Virgo's symbol on Lucy's forehead, faded away. Lucy stood there, paused, almost frozen with utter astonishment. The surprise then turned to excitement. What other abilities did she have? She couldn't wait for Holly to reveal more."Train one zodiac at a time, Lucy." Holly warned. Finally snapping her attention from her thoughts, Lucy's light blue eyes scanned the terrain, till they fell upon a familiar fog, that would soon materialize into Enzo. Her lips upturned into a light smile. He had changed his clothes. Much more dashing , and it suited him exceptionally well. It brought a slight flush of color to her cheeks, as it made her feel a bit shy, seeing as how Enzo's strong presence was made that much more obvious, stronger. "H-hello again, Enzo." Lucy spoke with a light tone; she couldn't prevent a small break in her voice, seeing as how she was slightly perturbed by him. "Nice getup whelp!" Holly laughed. Everything seemed to be a joke for Holly, which wasn't an aspect Lucy was fond of about her.

None other than a blank expression left from his face, he could tell that she wasn't up to speed as usual. "Hey." He said while taking one of his hands out from his pockets and tossed it around Lucy taking her to a nearby bench, seating her first. "Heh, she isn't looking so sharp.. Hmm, wonder how she got her so quickly.." Enzo raised an eyebrow as he observed Lucy but quickly changed his curious attitude so she wouldn't notice. With the same hand that he used to move her to the bench, he set it on her forehead to determine her temperature. "... Hmm." He mumbled. "She's exhausted.. Perhaps some ice cream would help." He took his hand off her forehead and rested it back into his pocket. "Want some ice cream?" He asked with a laid back posture. ☁ ════════════════════════════════════════

Lucy had suddenly been ushered to a nearby bench. From how he checked her temperature, Enzo had figured out her own lack of energy. Enzo had offered ice cream. At the very mention of food, her stomach growled. Her cheeks flushed a deep color, due to embarrassment. Lucy remembered not having a single bite of food all day. Ice cream sounded delicious, but she didn't want to be a burden, that was why she tried to hide her exhaustion. Asking and accepting help from others was difficult for her. Seeing as how she was in need of something to fill her stomach, Lucy figured it would be okay to ask for something this once and lightly nodded her head. "That would be very nice." Lucy said, meekly. She hoped he wasn't feeling burdened with her, feeling obligated to help her since her energy was exhausted. "Don't be so shy, Lucy. If you're going to get any where, you need to start with not being so reserved." Holly chided. She was right. Lucy needed to rely on others more.

He nodded then turned around to scan the area for an ice cream shop or something similar to it. He began walking off and started the search for his current goal. Finally, after a couple of minutes, Enzo found an ice cream truck and slowly made his way to it. The man inside the truck asked for what he wanted and waited patiently. Enzo's eyes flared the deadly crimson color as he glared at the menu on the side of the truck. "Lucy, what would you like? This guy serves anything." He asked her through his mental connection which is very handy. ☁ ════════════════════════════════════════

Enzo had found her amusing, seeing as how he chuckled at the sound of her stomach. Despite his intimidating features, Enzo seemed to be a unique character, one not easily judged by looks. His eyes seemed to reflect the environment he may have grown up in. This made Lucy curious about his past, but she wouldn't push to question him about it. Lucy also felt envious of Enzo. She, herself, could not remember her past, but she was certain that her memories lied within the nightmares that wake her up at night. Enzo's voice sounded in her head, interrupting her thoughts. "Mint and chocolate chips, please. And thank you. " Lucy spoke, making sure to mind her manners. Holly chuckled in Lucy's head. "I'm surprised by the dragon whelps generosity. Didn't think he really cared." Holly never had much of an impression or patience with people, except with Lucy. To her, everyone else was beneath her, till proven otherwise. "Enzo's a good person. Leave him alone." Lucy argued.

"Can I have one vanilla ice cream cone and one mint and chocolate chips cone too?" He asked politely. The man nodded and was done with the order in 5 minutes tops. He was extremely fast for some reason, maybe Enzo scared him? Who knows. After receiving the two ice cream cones, Enzo left $50 on the ice cream trucks counter then walked back to Lucy. He sighed in slight boredom then handed the mint and chocolate chips cone to her. "Careful kid, try not to spill on yourself." Enzo said as he reached into his pocket for napkins and also gave them to her. He sat next to her and began licking at his vanilla ice cream cone. "Man, when was the last time I had ice cream?" He thought to himself. ☁ ════════════════════════════════════════

She had just sunk her teeth into the ice cream when Enzo handed her a napkin. The way he had warned her made her feel like a child. Once she had swallowed the bite of ice cream she had taken, she spoke in her defense. "I can handle myself. I'm not a little kid." Lucy made sure to lick around the edges, to prevent the ice cream from dripping on her. As she was enjoying her ice cream, Lucy's light blue eyes followed around the park. It was beautiful. The flowers, and a few children playing in the distance. Her gaze had drew up to the sky, glancing at the passing clouds, trying to find shapes among them in the back of her mind. A sudden feeling washed over her, like there was something more that Enzo wanted than just to eat ice cream, otherwise he wouldn't have called her out. Enzo was maybe one who wasn't going to waste time on dawdling. "Is there something you had wanted from me?" She asked, keeping her light blue eyes on the clouds while continuing to enjoy her ice cream. It was to confirm her thoughts, and also ask Enzo a few things as well. The cold ice cream was doing her exhausted energy some good. Holly remained silent, most likely contemplating her opinions of Enzo.

One thing that he disliked about his powers was that everything tasted like.. Nothing. Since he is a Shadow Dragon Slayer, all he consumed to gain energy was from shadows. Everything tasted like nothing. He sighed while looking over to Lucy. "You might not think so but deep inside." He pointed at her heart. "Everyone is still a kid." This single statement reminded him of how he wished to have had a different childhood. Different memories to cling on to but he couldn't. Besides, he's already accepted the kind of person he was now. Enzo's senses jumped a little when Lucy asked if he wanted anything from her. He thought hard on whether to let her know about the conversation he had earlier with Eri. "I think it's best to keep that to myself." Enzo sighed then shook his head. "Nope, just wanted to check in with you is all." He answered back. Enzo didn't know if he did any good by keeping his conversation a secret but he didn't want Lucy to be bothered with more than she's already got. ☁ ════════════════════════════════════════

Her light blue eyes were the color of the sky on a bright, clear day. Calm and gentle. Slowly, her eyes searched his, hoping to find a truth to sate her perturbed emotions. "Beware of whom you place your trust in." Holly had echoed Lucy's suspicions. Holly seemed to feel the same way. It was too odd, or maybe it was just her being paranoid. She finally broke the awkward silence with her soft voice. "I appreciate your concern, but as you can see, I'm fine." Her eyes returned to the horizon of the park before her, lapping at her ice cream, turning her attention to her thoughts once again. An image surfaced. The little boy that looked very similar to the person she greeted in the mirror every morning. He looked too much like her to not be related. Was he her little brother? The word "brother" seemed to have a soft ring of familiarity, but also a sense of dread paired with it. What was the meaning of such feelings? "Holly says you'd be the perfect partner to assist in my training, seeing as how I have just come into my abilities, I'm in major need of such." Lucy spoke in soft voice with low confidence, "Would you want to?" Her gaze remained on her surroundings. Being part of the same race, it seemed logical, but she didn't want to coerce Enzo into something he wasn't up for. Right now, Lucy felt euphoric, and unusually peaceful and calm. Was this because of Enzo's influence? The little boy stuck within her thoughts. A song began to sound as she focused on the image. The song she had treasured since the first time she heard it. Lyrics floated into her mind, her heart tightening as she recalled them. "So many questions, But I'm talking to myself. I know that you can't hear me anymore, not anymore. So much to tell you And most of all, goodbye, but I know that you can't hear me anymore. It's so loud inside my head with words that I should have said. And as I drown in my regrets, I can't take back the words I never said, I never said. I can't take back the words I never said." It was a beautiful song, the voice of the artist matched it perfectly. Lucy knew, though her conscious mind didn't remember her past, her heart and body did. Holly was unusually quiet. To prevent Lucy from getting any hints to her past, from helping Lucy remember. Finally, she had spoke, in a concerned tone. "Lucy, I need to speak with Enzo."

"Today isn't that bad of a day.." He enjoyed at how everything looked during the day but the sun's beams always irritated his skin and made him hate being out even more but just for today, he'd forget about such a thing. Enzo sighed again towards the awkward silence between the two. "babo.. bahhhhh-bohhh. Why, isn't this boring." He thought to himself again until Lucy broke the silence about Holly. Boy, has it been some time since he's last seen her, the chills she gave him screamed for him to fight but Enzo kept his cool. "Yeah, sure." He said while standing up then a nice breeze came by and lightly tugged on his blazer making it flap in the air. "This suit is too much for me.." He smirked then looked over at Lucy who seemed to be day dreaming. Something was on her mind but Enzo didn't want to interrupt for it would be rude to do so. He then refocused his vision at the sky again, oh such a big and blue beautiful sky if only it were like this at night.. ☁ ════════════════════════════════════════

She made quick work of the last remnants of her ice cream cone and got up from her seat on the bench. Now, it was time for training, since Lucy really need to get a grasp on her abilities. Enzo would surely be able to help with that. But before they could start, Holly had some business with Enzo. "Enzo, Holly wishes to speak with you." Lucy warned. Just as Lucy had finished that statement, blood dripped from her ears, a sign that Holly was coming through. The end result was Lucy's light blue eyes had become a deep blue, with light blue stars, fitted for Holly and her presence became much more denser and apparent. "Now, I'm going to get straight to the point, whelp. From the weird way you are acting, and from the new bond your heart shares with Lucy's, I'm aware that you've seen that damn cupid, Eri." She spoke. Lucy's voice had been altered to fit Holly. While Lucy's was light and soft, Holly's was more of an alto voice. Her voice certainly carried much more authority than Lucy's could ever. "If you are trying to salvage her lost memories, I'll stop you right here. Having Lucy recall them would be too much for her to take." Holly wasn't going to budge an inch on this subject. When Lucy's well-being was on the line, Holly would be obstinate and undaunted. Holly was going to protect Lucy the way she thought was best. No one was going to step in and tell her otherwise. "This is a past you don't want to bring back to the light." Holly warned. Truthfully, Holly was getting extremely annoyed with how others were trying to bring back Lucy's memories. Why couldn't they just leave Lucy and Holly alone? Holly wouldn't let anyone else have her. Not Ky, Eri, nor Enzo.

U S є I K A ׺°” S H A D O W - D R A G O N - S L A Y E R ”°º× ══════════════════════════════════════════ ☁ Enzo grabbed his shoulder and with a quick flick of his wrist, he took off the elegant suit and revealed to be wearing his regular clothing beneath it. It was perfect especially since he and Lucy were going to train soon. He glanced over at her when she informed him of Holly wanting to speak with him. "Alright." He said while keeping his usual cool but the same cold feeling he got when she came out always interrupted his flow and he started to feel it now. Enzo wasn't shocked when Holly confronted him about the talk he and Eri had earlier. If Lucy hadn't realized how weird he was being then for sure Holly would know. Another light breeze came by before he gave her an answer back. "I have." He said while releasing his hands from his pockets and crossing them across his chest. The next thing that left Holly's mouth did stun him a bit though, she went straight to the point and threatened to stop him. "It's the past i'm willing to fight for." He began walking in a circle around Holly before continuing to speak again. "I believe she deserves the truth, don't you?" He asked with a more tense tone. Enzo was ready to get this training started but he'd stand down for now since the area they were in wasn't suitable for training grounds. He stopped walking and ended up in the same spot where he first started. "I wonder what her brother would say if he saw a beast such as yourself in his sister's body. Yada Yada." He shook his head and sat back down on the bench with his arms still crossed. No matter what Holly said, he'd keep to his own words and protect those of the same race even if it meant finding a way to kill her.. Poor Lucy. "Things are getting interesting now.." Enzo thought to himself as he built up a plan in silence. ☁ ════════════════════════════════════════

Her eyes were solely focused on Enzo, with a deadly and cold appearance. Lucy's eyes were calm and gentle, but Holly's were the color of the deep sea. Dangerous and relentless. "How could an idiot like you dare to say that when you don't even know a damn thing about Lucy? Tell me, little shadow boy. You cower when confronted in the light, while the light empowers Lucy and I." She spoke with a low and teasing tone, "I'm absolutely certain I know what is best for Lucy, yet you think I am wrong. You, who was never there to comfort her through everyday of her childhood life. You, who wasn't there to save her from those damn scientists and experimentation that left her completely weak. Often times, she thought of just giving up and dying. I was the one who was there to save her, to bring her peace from the world she was trapped in. To keep her safe. I got rid of the stains that decorated her life so she could live free from them. Tell me again what right you have, besides your shared blood, that makes you think you have any right to interfere with Lucy and I" Right now, she was playing at Enzo's weakness. He wasn't the one to protect Lucy, Holly was. Holly's grin grew wider. She was amused by Enzo's pure way of thinking. He had the audacity to challenge her methods of protecting Lucy, yet he had never protected her even once. He knew nothing of the pain that were entwined in all of her memories. An idea occurred to Holly. A vigorous, wicked laugh escaped from Holly. The perfect laugh of a villain. "Your only protecting her because she's part stellar dragon. If she didn't share that blood, you wouldn't have even looked her way. Don't you dare try to lecture me about her well-being when you only protect her out of circumstance. I protect her because I value her in her entirety." This was a major weakness she found in Enzo's motive of even bothering with Lucy. It was only circumstantial. It fueled Holly's confidence to a new level. "What did I tell you, Lucy? No one will approach you unless they have an ulterior motive. Cruel world, huh? He wasn't interested in anything but your lineage. Tough luck, kid." She mentally projected to Lucy. Enzo had mentioned Lucy's brother. So Eri told him. Perfect. "Her brother already knows about me, but he misunderstood me as just another part of Lucy. Lucifer wouldn't say anything. Instead, he would instantaneously try to kill her for what I've done." Holly spoke in a nasty tone. She was playing with Enzo now. Like placing a prime steak in front of a dog, then pulling it away before he even is able to take a bite. Another horrible idea had surfaced in Holly's thoughts. "Shall I give you a taste of hell? Let you bare witness to Lucy's memories?" She taunted. Holly stood tall before Enzo, as he sat on the bench. Slowly, she raised her arm and extended her index finger and placed it against Enzo's head. This was one of Holly's abilities. She wanted to torture Enzo, make him writhe and cower so he would never dare stand against her again. Black magic energy materialized at the tip of Holly's index finger, as it was placed against the middle of Enzo's forehead. "Hope you like the trip." She laughed, trapping Enzo in his mind for the duration of Lucy's memories. He would not just witness Lucy's memories but feel the physical and emotional pain she went through. From her being brutally beaten by her father and mother, how she was shunned by everyone, to being constantly bullied by all the other youths her age. She made sure Enzo would experience every detail about how Holly had affected Lucy's life. Made sure he would experience every minute of what happened on the birthday massacre. How she painted the walls with all of the Kingsmen family members' blood, made art out of their hearts, intestines, and leftover carcasses. Her best work so far. Also, the expression of sheer horror on Lucifer's face and how he tried to run. From there, she skipped on to the experiments that the scientists had performed. From the drugs they gave her everyday, leaving her being unable to breathe most of the time, making her stomach feel like it was being torn open, putting her through hell. The other parts were the electrocutions that left her at death's front door and how she was placed in death matches of members of other races. Once Enzo had seen everything, Holly pulled her hand away, releasing Enzo from his thoughts. Patiently waiting with an evil smile at his reaction. "Still think you're in the right?" She questioned.
