Dreamer Name: Aiden Miller Age: 9.5 Years Old Birthday: June 27th Height: 4'7" Hair: Dirty blonde, short curly Eye Color: Light blue with darker blue accents and hints of grey. Posting color: #1194A9
Personality: + Believes in doing the right thing Aiden was taught the difference between right and wrong. He lives by the golden rule; treat others as you would want to be treated. However, if it comes down to it he'll stand up for himself and others. It's not nice to pick on other people, so if he sees you doing just that he'll step in and stand up for somebody. + Kind Because he does the right thing, he is always willing to put others before himself. Especially if the other person is a good person. His kindness doesn't seem to have a limit and surprises people. + Honest Being nine years old, he doesn't have a filter. It doesn't seem like he'll grow out of it either. When Aiden thinks you're wrong he'll tell you. His mother hated asking him how she looked in anything because he would tell her exactly what he thought. Though it's not always so blunt, he doesn't like to tell lies. Period. - Pushover Aiden's kindness usually works against him, in that he can't tell others no. He's quite the pushover and is willing to help just about everybody out. His parents raised him to help those who need it. Since they're gone he clings to those things. While it's nice to see a young boy helping others, he has been known to do just about anything asked of him. Others like to take advantage of this in school. - Messy
+/- Stubborn When Aiden makes a choice he stands by it, even if it's not a good decision. He's stubborn and isn't likely to back down. Aiden likes to be right and if he's wrong, good luck telling him that. However, it's not all bad. If he tells you he'll be there for you, you better believe he will be. His stubbornness extends to his age as he takes promises very seriously. If you make him a promise and break it, you lose a lot of his trust. +/- Curious
*Note* Because of the accident and the unfortunate death of Aiden's parents he has withdrawn in himself. He's still adjusting to the change. On top of it all, he has changed schools and is now adjusting to being the new kid. Some of his usual characteristics aren't as distinct. He is very quiet and withdrawn as of late.
History: Aiden had a normal childhood. His parents were attentive and loved him very much. His father was a meteorologist and his mother was an elementary school teacher. Because of this Aiden was surrounded by knowledge and creativity from a young age. He learned how to read early on and once he started he never wanted to stop. The sky fascinates him because of his father. The stories and legends behind each of the constellations is endless and he can't seem to get enough of them.
He also loves his grandparents very much. Though they lived about three hours away, they always made an effort to come see him for the important occasions; birthdays and holidays especially. It was always a tradition to have Christmas at his grandparents though. This year was no different. They left the day before Christmas Eve, but did not make it to his grandparents as planned. Aiden did, because they were all he had left after the accident.
Although Aiden loves his family very much, he misses his parents even more. Without his parents, Birdie and Pop (his grandparents) have taken custody over the boy. He now lives with the elderly couple. They are trying their best, but raising another child after aging as they have is difficult. Not that Aiden is particularly difficult. Aiden always has what he needs and never goes hungry. The couple even helps with his homework whenever they can. It's all very different for everyone. Aiden is the new kid and is struggling to cope with the loss of his parents as well as being the new kid. His eyes don't twinkle like they used too. These nightmares aren't making it any easier for the family.

It's too late, nothing you do will prevent it from happening. The deer strayed into the road before anybody knew what happened. Your body was thrown forward and to the side, all the air escaping your lungs. You can't breathe, your shoulder hurts, you can't see through tears of pain. Gasping for air you hear your mother screaming your name.
"Mom!" You shout back, something's wrong. Out the window you see the scenery still moving, it's not just moving though. It's wrong. It's twisting and turning and you're not sure where the car is anymore.
The car crashed down at an angle, crushing the hood in. Another scream. The back wheels didn't hit the ground like it should have. End over end the car went, but it still didn't stop. There was too much momentum in the car to stop it now. Farther down the hill, the screams stopped. So did the car, except it wasn't up right. It was flipped upside down. The left side went into a tree. The windows are shattered, cold air pouring in. Like a thief it steals the warmth you knew, replacing it with icy silence.
Everything hurt. Everything was cold. You still couldn't see. In an attempt to see you wipe your eyes and blink through what you think are tears. When you can see enough you try and sit forward. It hurts. A pained noise passes your lips.
Nobody responds to ask if you're okay. Something's wrong. You can't move as you call out, "Mom? Dad?" There's no answer. You try again, but again nothing. An unknown warmth drips down your forehead in a constant trickle. Again you can't see as the warmth rolls down into your eyes.
You try to sit up and check on them, blinking quickly in an attempt to keep the unknown warmth out of your eyes. Your seat belt holds you firmly in place. You're frantic now, screaming for your parents. For an answer. You're in pain and everything is wrong. When you reach for your seatbelt buckle it hurts too much to press. Looking down you see dark red. It's everywhere: on your seat, on your arm, on your hands, seeping into your clothes. Biting your lip until it too bleeds, you muscle through it and unbuckle yourself. It's no good because the next thing you know everything's blurry and dark.
The energy and strength leaves your body and you flop back. The pain in your body is throbbing. It's everywhere and it won't stop. More tears start rolling down your cheeks as you give up. The only thing you can do is watch the cloud of breath that forms in the cold as you exhale. Your vision slowly gets darker. The edges of sight becoming fuzzy and black until it's all black. There's no more crying or unanswered calls, the cold is the only thing you feel and see.
The next thing you remember is the warmth. Not just blood, but a warm room with a heater. It's nice, but what happened to the cold? When you opened your eyes it was blindingly bright. You're in a hospital, next to you is somebody you don't recognize.
"Aiden. Why didn't you warn them?" The person grins, a pure white amongst dark skin. Who is it? "You saw it, I know you did. Because you didn't warn them they're gone and they're never coming back. Your father looked away from the road and hit the deer. When he slammed on the breaks there was a patch of black ice. You killed them. You're alone now." The words pierce you like daggers. Frozen daggers.
You cringe and hold yourself at the waist. It's a lie, your parents aren't dead. You aren't alone. It's not your fault. It's not! The deer killed them, the black ice did. The situation killed them. You are why your dad looked away though, if you hadn't asked him to change the song he would have seen the deer before it was too late. Before he slammed on the breaks on a patch of black ice. It's your fault. They're never coming back. You're alone and nobody will be there to tuck you in at night or tell you why the sun is the center of the solar system.
Everything starts to go pitch black again. Like the sun in your universe just went out. It's cold and dark and you're scared.
◈◈◈Granny Spiderlegs◈◈◈ xxxxWhen I first met Granny I didn't know what I thought, she was a little.. weird, but she said she could help! Now she's put a dagger in my dream catcher. Since she told me to be careful with it, I'm not going to even fiddle with it! I hope I don't bother her if I need anything; she said I could visit her anytime, but I don't want to bother her too much!
