Momo was a lioness who had grown up in a good sized pride with a good sized family. Her small pride got along relatively fine. Over all her background was filled with a lot of love and support. There was no horrific event that dragged her away from her family. Only a pining to do something different. Not that Momo was one to seak out the most thrilling of thrills. But living in the comfort of her pride was what she was used to. It was unchanging and uneventful.
So the pink lioness bid her family farewell and set off on her own. Though her parents and siblings were sad to see her go they did not dare stop her.
So Momo traveled the vastness and learned kindness and unkindness from strangers. She learned quickly that not every pride was as welcoming and warm as her own. Some prides were more welcoming and some were just cold and dark with a tid bit of hate for outsiders. She was welcomed and scorned at different corners.
These events did not really change Momo for the better or worse. Instead, Momo learned how to go with the flow.
Perhaps that was why she landed her self on the gypsy boarders. Or perhaps it was the words of a few travelers that peaked her interest in this pride in particular. A carefree easy going pride was the reputation the pride had earned by way of mouth.
There was one thing that Momo knew about any pride. To approach with extreme caution. And so, very carefully, the lioness tread the border.
