Most races are playable but some require permission from the Captain.
No permission races:
Shield dwarf
Gold dwarf
Gray dwarf (Duergar)
Sun elf
Moon elf
Wood elf
Wild elf
Drow
Rock gnome
Svirfneblin
Halfling
Half-elf
Half-drow
Half-orc
Human
Tiefling
Races with permission would include stuff like dragons and half dragons.
Basically because there are so many races, there will be a form for applying to a race that is not listed. Any race from the forgotten realms made applied to. I have not listed all of them because there is so many. If you see one you like then apply for it.
