Tapping his chin thoughtfully, Etzer browsed over his gift selection carefully. He played with the small tuft of hair on his chin, just barely growing in, while he tilted his head at the exuberant amount of presents he'd bought. He hadn't wrapped any of them himself - that's what other people had time for - but he made sure to label each one carefully and nod in satisfaction after having looked them over.
Gently pushing a cart near to the pile with his foot, the frost demon started to load all of the presents onto it, all labeled with one name.
Uller.
Hopefully this was stuff he would enjoy, even though a few of them were nothing more than gag gifts. He made doubly sure not to get anything with bells on them for Uller. The last thing his boilfriend needed was to be trounced by his brother for those prized bells.
After loading the cart higher than he was tall, he whistled to his minipets and had them sit certain places so the presents wouldn't fall, then exited his room with the cart in tow.
Wouldn't Uller be surprised.

Ugh, this holiday was dumb already, and now he had the added stress of trying to buy for someone he really liked and he wasn't sure what to give him. The stag had stressed and fretted and cursed a storm up and down until he found what he thought was the perfect gift. Of course, he only bought one because he didn't even know if they were exchanging gifts this year. Uller ran a hand through his white hair as he slowly, so slowly placed the perfect bow on his perfectly wrapped gift.
It wasn't exactly small. It was a very thick present. It would have to be to give Etzer every book in his favorite mystery series. He just hoped it was well received. Honestly though, he didn't know what the Jack to get the other boil. Clothes would be an insult, bath supplies could be taken as an insult and books just seemed right. That's how they started talking, was over books.
He flopped down on his bed now and just breathed. Okay that was done, now would be the task of trying to catch Etzer while he wasn't busy.
Sometimes it was easy, sometimes not so much.

Arriving at Uller's door, Etzer adjusted his tie and grinned to himself, raising his hand to knock on the door.
After glancing over the cart again, he gave himself a nod while patting his minipets on the head, noting that they were enjoying the adventure tenfold. His frost wyrmling was perched with a paw on a large bow, eyeing it with careful inspection as if to make sure it was absolutely perfect. The foxfire sweater was just standing on another present with his tongue lolled out, without a care in the world - it seemed he was just along for the ride.
At the top of the presents was his gryphling tropical, who peered at him with her unblinking gaze before preening herself and tapping on a small box with her tail. And the yaeg... well, he was just looking at everything.
Four minipets who made sure the presents were in order (in reality it was three, as the foxfire didn't really count...), and Etzer wondered if it was a good idea to bring to Uller's dorm room.
Oh well. What happened, happened. He gave a repetition of knocks.

He closed his eyes and relaxed for a moment. Relaxing was something he didn't have a luxury to do most of the time. Even though Uller was in his room a lot, he wasn't relaxed. He was stressed out about something or other and he wasn't surprised his hair was white. Though, that wasn't the reason it was white but no matter. His dad got that joke all the time as well.
The snow Stag stretched himself out and just scratched as his stomach as he looked up at the ceiling yet again. Maybe he should invest in a few pictures or posters to put up there since he stared at it so much.
His train of thought was broken by the knocks at the door and his black eyes shifted, looking at it before grunting. "Coming." Swinging his legs, he climbed off the bed, tugged his shirt right and just opened the door, half expecting it to be a prank. But there was his boilfriend in all his glo- "You've got something on your face." Was that... hair? Uller blinked and examined it before shaking his head. "I mean hi. Come in, come in..."

"It's called face hair." Etzer grinned as he ran a finger over Uller's bare chin. "Makes me look more distinguished. Now close your eyes." He peered at Uller until he did so, pushing him gently back out of the doorway as he wheeled in the entire cart of presents, and then shut the door behind them.
"Okay, Now you can open your eyes, and see the gift I got you." Etzer glanced over the entire cart again, and couldn't help but notice how smug his minis looked.

"It's called it looks patchy," he murmured, biting at Etzer's fingers as they ran over his chin. Sighing slowly, Uller did as he was told and closed his eyes, going to sit on his bed. Flicking his ears, Uller wasn't sure he was hearing right. That sounded an awful like a cart or something similar. He put one ungloved hand on the other boil's present before he opened his eyes when he was told.
Wow, okay. Swallowing, he shifted so he was pushing and hiding Etzer's one present behind his back as he stared at the cart. "....Only one of these is mine, right?"

Etzer raised an eyebrow, eyeing him like he'd gone crazy. "One? No. I couldn't decide on one so I just got you everything." He shrugged and picked up the foxfire mini who was now drooling on one of the presents, sighing as he patted his head affectionately. "Except the minipets. Some wanted to come along and make sure the presents were alright."
Making a 'scoot along' motion with his hand, the minipets trodded off of the presents, now clambering over Etzer's somewhat dinged up coat. It seemed he needed a new one soon, but he hadn't been that entirely concerned about it.

Frick! Now he felt like he had to go out and buy more presents for Etzer. Sighing at the mental note, he cleared his throat and just looked along those presents now. Well, keep that in mind. The boils coat seemed to be getting pretty... dingy and in need of replacing. Good. He hadn't done that for him. Sighing, he pulled out Etzer's present from behind him and just offered up the hefty package. There was at least seven books in the series, maybe eight.
"I can't match you, so I'm just going to give you this. ..By the way, don't get another coat. I'll buy a new one for you. Just.. give me the measurements and your favorite color."

Etzer smiled as he drew close, putting both hands on either side of Uller's face. "My favorite color is the color of your skin." Was that creepy? Probably a lot. But when it came to Uller, Etzer was nothing but a kitten.
A kitten with sharp claws sometimes, but still an adorable hapless kitten.
"You don't have to match me, Uller. I got these for you because I love you. Spending time with the one I love the most is the best possible thing you could grant me." He needed to stop by his brother's at some point as well, but for now, he wanted to cuddle with his boilfriend.
His minipets seemed to give a sigh at him, apparently used to Etzer's ways.

Who was he to say if his boilfriend was creepy? He took Etzer's hand in his own and nipped at his fingers a little before he hummed. His cheeks were flushing as he listened to those very sickly sweet words and covered it up by batting his hand and rolling his eyes.
"Love you, too, now open it up. I think you'll appreciate this," he murmured, biting down on his lip as he reached for one of his presents.
Etzer was a kitten. One he could curl up with and cuddle, pet and kiss, but there.. were other perks that Etzer gave Uller that a kitten couldn't. "Not going home for this ...holiday then? I'm stuck here due to the fact I don't want to see my parents and listen to them call me useless for not attending a lot of classes this year."

"Oh, I'm still going home. I have to meet with my brother so we can go together." He knew that if he didn't, he would never hear the end of it from Molan. "But I wanted to at least spend a little bit of time with you." He finally took the present and sat down next to Uller, ripping the packaging off with gusto. The wrapping paper flew to the floor in pieces, where his minipets soon overcame and began to play with.
Well. At least they were occupied.
Etzer stared at the books fro a moment, fingers sliding over them in appreciation as he glanced through the covers.
"These ones are hard to find. Wow. Just... wow. Thank you, Uller." He smiled up at his boilfriend, his eyes showing that he was completely happy. "... wanna read one with me?"

Ah, so he was going to be alone after this. Oh, well. That was something he was used to. He tied to hide the flush that stained his entire face as Etzer ripped into his present and just cleared his throat a bit. He hadn't expected that kind of reaction, but it made him happy. Uller was glad his boilfriend was going to enjoy the present he bought. Someone had told him books weren't personal enough, but clearly they knew nothing of the two boils.
"...Yes. I would like that." Shifting a little, he pushed Ezter back against the headboard and settled between his legs, back to head against Etzer's chest as he took the first volume out and got comfortable. This was one of the reasons books were good for the two. It was their personal time where awkward talks and looks didn't happen and they could just be together. "If you try to turn the page before I'm finished reading, I will bite you."

Etzer smiled, sliding his fingers on Uller's shoulders and pressing his forehead against the back of his boilfriend's head.
"I wouldn't dare." He tilted his head so he could read as well, his excitement already able to be felt due to his shivering body. "Oh, wait until you get to the part where the snowman's head halfway melts and his speech becomes slurred! Priceless."

"Jack damn it, Etzer." Uller growled and shoved the other away from him, all but hissing at his boilfriend. If Etzer kept that up, Uller would be out of here in a hurry. He snorted a bit and just hoarded the book to himself, clutching it tight to his chest so Etzer could no longer read over his shoulder.
"You're rotten."

He crawled forward again, this time sliding his head into Uller's lap so he could stare up at him while he read. He really was horrible.
"Yes, but when you get to that part you have to tell me. So we can laugh together." The frost demon batted his eyes at Uller, trying his best to look cute and innocent.
