Perhaps Ammon was just a bit luckier than he'd given himself credit for. Surely she wasn't the lioness he was looking for, but at the very least the lioness about to stumble in his path would offer some form of distraction.
She'd been out to hunt, she'd been careful not to go too far since she was alone, but somehow the next thing she was aware of was waking in a daze in the rogue lands. When trying to recall how she had gotten there the only images that came to mind were black wings and feathers, and the laughter of an unknown male. Her only evidence were a rock with dried blood on it, a pounding in her skull, a scent fading fast, and a few green feathers littering her mane.
Adiva was absolutely positive she had no idea what had happened to lead her to such circumstances, but she awoke feeling quite panicked. What had happened? What had she done? Where was she? She had to get home!
But... where was home? Who would be looking for her?
Yes, her past was also a part of the mystery. She could recall her name... Adiva'Bat-shiva. She knew that she had come from a pride... she carried the scents of many others. She knew that there was someone important she had to return to... her heart ached so, though she could not identify why. Beyond that, however, she had no idea where to start, whose scent was whose, where she was supposed to go.
Feeling particularly distraught, then, she began to wander in the first direction that seemed logical.
It was three days later when she felt the keen sting of hunger. Dirty, weakened, and still horribly confused- that was the state she was in when she stumbled into Ammon's line of vision. The lion both did and didn't seem familiar. To look at him made her head ache, because his coloring seemed to be trying to trigger a memory that her mind wasn't ready to recall. His scent was unfamiliar. Advia squinted her eyes and tried to hold herself steady on her paws but in the end it was of no use. The sudden wooziness finally got the better of her, and after what must have been a rather drunkenly interesting display (including her "glare") the female swayed to one side and collapsed where she stood.

It was with a great deal of confusion that Ammon looked back at the seemingly drunk lioness. Was she looking at him? Had he done something wrong? Admittedly her pelt was extremely hard to miss, like his own. The lioness didn't look familiar in any way but from the way she glared at him from across the way he felt unsure. It was only when she began to sway and ultimately collapse that he let himself off the hook. Obviously this lioness had a little too much fermented fruit or something. Despite the glare Ammon quickly rushed over to the lioness' side, inspecting her to make sure she wasn't injured. Immediately he smelled her scent which had a great deal of other lions mixed with her own and he wondered if she had gotten lost while on her way home. It was rather hot out. "Hey, are you okay?" Ammon asked, dipping his head to get a closer look and a little too close he tried to inspect her head. He couldn't really tell if she had hit it when she fell since she had a lot of hair.
For a moment Ammon lifted his head and let his orange eyes scan the horizon once more. It appeared that she was alone which could either be a good or bad thing. Depending on who might be looking for her. Ammon had learned in these lands that interacting with anyone, let alone a lioness, was dangerous. Given this situation though Ammon couldn't leave her alone. Not that he wouldn't have offered his paw to help someone in almost any other situation. His orange eyes once more came to rest on the lioness before him. He needed to get her out of the sun and probably get some water into her if possible.
It looked like she hadn't seen a good nights rest let alone a bath in several days. This seemed to confuse him given her scent but he wouldn't ask her. Was she even awake? It didn't matter. "Try to be still, if something hurts tell me. Otherwise. . ." He paused, taking this moment to put his nose under her belly and slowly inching her onto his back. "Just try to relax and let me get you help." He said, grunting a little as her weight settled on his back. It was a bold move that he would not have done ordinarily but given her woozy fall he figured her walking was out of the question. "Sorry about this."

His guess really wasn't that far off. While not necessarily drunk she was certainly feeling dazed from the hunger and exhaustion. She hadn't slept, how could she? Waking up in a strange place, no real memory of where she came from- let alone how to get back there, and as near as she could tell she might have some any number of shameful things during the time she couldn't remember. The lioness didn't know why but she had a distinct feeling that it would be unforgivable if she'd fornicated with some strange male.
All she could offer in response to his question was a groan, no real discernible words. He was getting closer than she felt comfortable with but while fighting for consciousness she really couldn't do much about it. Instead she found herself trying not to panic during her moments of clarity when she realized she was being lifted off the ground.
So now there she was hanging from his back almost like a prize, now dazed, hungry, AND confused, on the verge of panicking, and dizzy.
"Where am I...?"
