Yakō sets up a barrier over Rihan and goes to help her sister. After all was done Lumina pulled out a guitar and began to play. A moment later, Yakō found herself a smiling as she began to sing. The her voice was soft, yet powerful, and signature to her alone. No one else quite captured the same sound and magnitude with that grace and style. It was an ocean's storm, confined to a desert oasis, a wild horse properly tamed yet still free. I.Her voice carried thru out the inn.

A touch of deathxxxxA touch of deathxxxxA touch of death └☽xxＴＨＥ ＬＯＹＡＬ ＳＥＮＴＲＹxx☾┘ xxxxxxxxxxxxdxoxxbxexlxixexvxexxixnxxDxrxexaxmxs • ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ • There were questions at the back of his mind that bugged him. He was about to start the ask 5 game, but just then the food arrived in the nick of time. Boy was he hungry, but this small meal should suffice for now. Even though he was not a big fan of fast food and such, this was an exception. After all he was running low on funds, he had to budget some how. Eva didn't look the type to be carrying around a purse or wallet full of money. He'll have to take the responsibility of taking care of their needs and care. With that in mind he had to start the game soon, else wise he'll bored her to death. Izan tucked a napkin under his collar and placed both of his hands together. "itadakimasu" Izan was chowing down his food like usual, but slowed down when he saw Eva eating politely. She had asked him the reason why he came to the school, he almost choked but calmed down with a glass of water. "Ah ah ah...pardon me, the reason why I came to the academy is not much of a reason...but rather I was forced too by the authority. How about you then?" He slowly finished his burger and fries and started to work on his salad. "Want to play a 5 question game?" Izan smiled gleefully as he enjoyed his salad.
Upon Eva's inquiry, Izan seemed rather taken aback. Once again, she was left feeling awkward. Though she wanted to prod deeper into "being forced", he returned the question. As Eva was in the middle of chewing, she set her burger down and covered her mouth while she gulped down the bits of food in her mouth at that time. "Sorry," she apologized on behalf of the food causing a delay. Then, she continued, "Well, I really knew all along that I was a weapon, and then a death scythe recruited me to join the academy." After saying this, Eva proceeded to finish the rest of the burger. She really was quite hungry, and thus even found herself very slowly eating the fries. Her stomach gurgled a bit - trying to convince her to eat faster - and so she choked down a few more fries with increased haste. Upon finishing these, Eva was a bit more full, and decided to start in on the ice cream cone. After all, sweets took a higher priority than salad. Eva had finished most of the ice cream cone when he asked her about the five question game. She lifted her head, tilting it to the side and furrowing her brow. "Five questions game?" she asked, not entirely familiar with the game.

But that might have not been the entire story. A death scythe huh. he felt she was fortunate enough to meet one in person. As far as he know there were only three or four death scythe user alive and recorded. Once he finished his salad, he started on his ice cream. The flavor were enriching and smooth, just what he needed to quench his hunger. "Its a game where you ask me five questions and I'll have to answer all of them. Then it would be my turn to give you five questions of my own." Slowly but surely he finished his cone, having an brain freeze is not fun. Placing both of his hands back together, he thank the creator for the food. As he waited for her answer, he scooted in closer to hear her in clarity. The cafe was thralling with music and laughter, a bit comfy if you ask him.

Following finishing their food, Izan explained what the game was; it only appeared to include asking questions (five, which knowing the name any other number would have been surprising). The catch was that no matter what, the other person had to answer. This seemed like a recipe for disaster, and made Eva a bit nervous. If any questions got too personal... she couldn't back out. The weapon finished her food, setting it in a neat pile so that it would be easy to clean up. Before Eva could reply, some sort of waitress came by, and offered to get them anything that they needed. Eva smiled and nodded. "Thank you," she replied, before turning back to Izan. It was almost as if he had moved closer since the last time she looked over. The noise was pretty loud, which might be useful if the questions got too awkward. "Oh, that sounds good," she replied. Thinking about the game for a moment, she offered, "You can ask first." Eva wasn't sure what type of questions were appropriate, and thus hoped that he would take her up on the offer. That way, she could get an idea of the type of questions to ask.

Izan took a deep breath and took out a hair bobby-pin and pinned his hair back. Aside from that, he laid back a bit and got comfortable. The game had began and yet he had nothing to start it with, unexpectedly a waitress came by and offered them service if they needed any. "Will do, thanks" Izan was unsure and puzzled by how much he did not know about his partner, thus he did not know where to start when there is so many ways to start up the questions. In a more serious tone, Izan decided to drop the happy go lucky act. "Question one, are you afraid of dying? Question two, if you were ever to save yourself or your family, which would it be and why? Question three, what drives your motivations for becoming one of the best, is it glory, wealth, benefits, power? Question four, what makes you think you have what it takes to take on the world? Finally question five, if I asked you to kill me would you do so?" He settled down and awaited for her answers, and based off her answers he will decide if she is worth risking his life for in return.
It was as though Izan became a totally different person. His questions were not lighthearted ones, and Eva became slightlly flustered. Given the game, she had no choice but to give a straight answer to each and every one of those questions. First, there was the question of dying. It was not particularly something that Eva had ever considered, and so she paused. Maybe the fact that she had never really thought about dying was a sign. "I don't think I'm afraid of dying. That said, I'm not the sort to make brash decisions to rush into it," she laughed lightly at this. Instead of her usual laugh, there was a hint of awkwardness in her tone. Next was the second question, a choice between saving her family or not. "The second question is pretty obvious: I would save my family." Though Eva wasn't entirely sure why it was more obvious, for some reason she couldn't even consider the alternative. Then was the third question, which made Eva wrinkle her brow a bit. "Well, to tell the truth I don't want to be the best; I wanted to join the DWMA so I could fit in some place and use my abilities to help people like that Death Scythe." Since she didn't actually answer the question, she thought that that explanation would suffice as an answer. Then, the second to last question was why she thought she could take on the world. "Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'take on the world.' If it kind of relates to the other question, I really just want to help people and I guess that makes me a force in the world? I'm not sure." Then there was the last question. Eva blushed and looked away from Izan to reply. "Well, if you were really suffering and I couldn't save you I would kill you so you wouldn't have to be in pain... Otherwise, I know we'd find a way fix whatever is wrong! If there was even the smallest chance I could help you, I wouldn't end your life, even at your request..." After saying this, Eva realized that her response probably sounded really pushy, and probably thus quite strange. But the worlds had already come out of her mouth, and there was no reversing that much.
After answering Izan's questions, Eva figured she should ask questions as well. Though Izan had just jumped into the serious questions, Eva felt a sort of need to ease into tougher topics. Thus, she started with a smile one. "Um, question one: what are some of your hobbies?" It sounded incredibly shallow, but shallow questions were the best way to probe a person out before inquiring more deeply. "Question two: what's the full story behind you entering the DWMA?" Obviously, being kicked out wasn't the full story, and even if it was tough Eva wanted to know the whole truth, so she could know whether or not he was a trustworthy person to have as a partner. Some crazy person who murdered his peers would not fit into this classmate. After asking these two questions, Eva paused to think of the next one. "Question three: what do you hope to accomplish at DWMA?" Once again, this question seemed boringly surface-y, and so Eva figured it was time for a transition. "Question four: what would you do if the person you loved the most was dying, and the only way to help the person was through illegal methods that might hurt other innocents?" Admittedly, it was a rather morbid transition. Once again, this was important to know: it was basically a question of morals versus emotions. There was only one question left, and Eva knew she had to make it count. She furrowed her brow a bit, and looked Izan in the eye. "Question five: what... keeps you going? What is your driving motivation in life?" Maybe it was an odd way of phrasing a question, but overall Eva felt that these five questions would help her to get a better idea of who she would be working with.

Those answers were so sincere that it made him smile and chuckle. It had been quite some times since he had met one so earnest in answering such unreasonable questions. Eva was kind...mercy was one word to explain it out of those answers he had received from her. He wondered if she had ever killed anything without no remorse...or hatred? It would be an experience for sure...when they face the cruel and wick world. She does not fear dying, but shes not willing to risk her relationships. Eva answered his questions with mostly yes or no answers with barely any in between. Simple answers, he felt like he was the un-decisive one now after he heard her answers. "I see...so those are your answers huh? Fair answers Eva-Chan." A matter of traits puzzled Izan, will she and he be on equal footings when the times come to choose? A bit hollow if you'd ask him. Listening keenly to Eva's questions, Izan felt a tickle from within his guts. He was unprepared for her questions, after hearing the light tone of her voice brush over him. He blanked and returned to reality. When she smiled, he couldn't help but fluster a bit and stumble to answer the first question. "A general question huh.... how sly of you haha. I'd say I occasionally play the violin and read books." Though it was a general question, she was very thoughtful and insightful. From the general question, she moved into a direct kill. She was quite a battle tactician, to lower ones guard and then move in for the kill. "You've got me on that one, as you can see. Similar to your circumstances, I am abnormal to the community. Thus I became the feared one among humans, which was why I was transferred into the academy. I tried to savior trust, loyalty, friendship but in the end it was for naught. Those whom I tried to befriend became my bane. After an incident with a teacher, I was put on trial for violence. But Death-san plead for me and took me under his wings." Izan picked up his glass of water and took a sip from it's transparent container. Eva's third question made him worry, he did not want to be involved with the authority again. Izan's left hand twitched a bit at the question but he remained collective. "Love is a powerful word, but your talking to someone who does not know of such an existence...But if that is the case I would destroy that judicial system of what is illegal. Even if I was hated, cursed...I will betray myself to save them." Izan wasn't sure if he fully answered her questions so far, but hopefully he wasn't making any mistakes. The last question was far harder than he had thought it would be. Eva's golden light haze brown eyes was intimidating a bit, it is as if she was looking for a purpose to believe in him. "Sheesh...I dunno really, perhaps there are multiple answers to that question. But I believe my answer to that question is: Not my motivation to live for something, rather it is to die knowing I changed the world for the better or worse." Calmly Izan sunk back into his chair and thought of five more questions.
Smiling Izan leaned forward and grinned widely as he started up the next batch of questions for her. "Question one: When is your birthday?" He couldn't help himself but ask that ridiculous question. "Question two: What do you think of Demons, Witches, and Kishin?" The transition was horrible, but it may be effective on getting more emotions out of her perhaps? "Question three: Must you save everyone?" It was an irrelevant question but he wanted to know if she had what it takes to do what is needed. Else wise, he would have to be the one to drop the hammer. "Question four: do you have any families, do you yearn for them?" That awkward question slipped out off his tongue uneasy, and made him feel less intelligent. "Question five: what are your dreams?" Izan's face lit a light shade of red when he asked about her dreams. He kind of blurted out the last question instead of asking normally, embarrassed he turned his head away to avoid making eye contact with her.
Maybe the questions were a bit awkward, and many of them Eva regretted immediately after asking. She didn't want to create more tension between them. Then again, things were awkward as it was. Though she wanted to reply to each and every question, Izan's answers were... mildly depressing. When he said that he didn't know of love, she just wanted to reach across and give him a hug; his life seemed so much more... sad than hers. Hopefully she could help him to actually have something to live for in the future. "Mhm, quite interesting," she replied thoughtfully. His answers really were interesting, and she was deep in thought about how their relationship might continue. Before she could probe anymore, Izan leaped into a new set of questions. Eva thought that one was enough, but it looked like she would have to answer more. "Well, my birthday is March 11th." That was an easy enough question to answer. The next one was not as easy. "Well, by nature they're evil? I don't know much about them, but I know that they kill innocents, so as a first impression I don't like them." Then was onto another, deep question. "I'll save everyone I can." She replied. Eva was no fool: she knew not everyone could be saved, but if she had even a chance of doing so, she would. The next question was rather odd as well. "I have my two parents and my younger brother that I love, but I'm not sure what you mean by yearn?" Then, the last question was the most broad of all. "I mean... I... guess... I want to try to help people to make the world a better place, but also find stability in my life?" she used a certain inflection in her voice that made it sound almost like she was questioning her own answers.
Now, it was her turn to ask questions again. Eva inwardly winced. She had no idea what other questions to ask him. After a short silence, she asked the first question: "Question one: What happened in the accident with the teacher?" This time, Eva couldn't think of any way to ease into the questions, so she just outright asked. It was important to know everything about his violent history, to make sure that she could help him if something like that ever happened again. "Sorry," she apologized, but didn't take the question back. "Question two: when's your birthday?" she smiled after saying this. Hopefully, this would shift the mood after such a morbid question. Thinking, she pushed her feet forward and pursed her lips, looking off as if a wall would give her inspiration. "Question three: would you ever want to play your violin with someone else?" After saying this, she smiled at him. "I play piano..." she loved music, and figured this might be another gentle question. Because the last two questions Eva had in mind certainly weren't. "Question Four: if you were to die right now, what would be your biggest regret?" Eva certainly knew what hers would be, but she wondered what his might be. After all, in knowing a person it was important to know what they meant to or wanted to accomplish. Finally, she finished with a more lighthearted, yet still important question. "Question five: Who is the person you love most?"

Little did he know of Eva, he thought it was time they set aside their goofy game and just enjoy their free-time. Eva must have been bored by this game now, it is plain and boring after a few rounds. This will be the last round for sure, unless she had other questions that doesn't resolve around a game. He couldn't help but empathize with her, not knowing if demons and witches, kishin are really the enemy. I think I messed up...she got confused about the family question. Man how pitiful of me ARGH! He presume that she would have been the typical type of women, but she proved to be a book full of surprises. He was going to enjoy working with her for sure. A waitress came by and took their empty plates as they were having their conversation. "Thank-you" Resuming to her questions, he answered her sincerely "The teach recovered and that was that." The miniature discussion of questions and high tension came to an end as she eased into a more simple matter. "My birthday is on September tenth" He observed as she pursed her lips and looked the other way. "I would love to do so." He smiled and chuckled lightly in return at her gentle gesture. "Is that so? I would love to hear you play someday too." Izan much wanted to hear the 'voice' of her piano, in a sense he was curious about her. The last two questions were thrown at him like a curve ball, but he managed it. "Not being able to listen to your symphony" perhaps that was a bit awkward but he meant it. The last question was confusing and harsh, but he had to pick something right? He could have said Death, but that would be utterly horrible for an answer. Although Izan had a complicated family, and never grew to know any of his parents or his brother. He felt like he couldn't really count them as 'love' yet. The only one person he truly think he loves the most at the moment was "Eva-chan" she was after all his only friend that didn't consider him as the spawn of the devil.
While Izan spoke, Eva listened intensely though, truth be told, she was getting bored with the ordeal; Izan seemed to be as well, as his answers notably decreased in seriousness. Certainly there would be something he would regret more, but there was no sense in pushing. Then, he finished off his small speech by declaring that she would be the person he loved the most. She turned bright red and looked at the ground. There was a slight pause following this. No more questions would probably come, which was something Eva was thankful for. Not only was she about done talking about herself, but furthermore any more questions would mean she would have to come up with more questions for Izan. Still, for a small moment she simply looked at the ground. Something was bothering her, and so she suddenly looked up. "Izan, have you ever had a girlfriend?" the question slipped out of her mouth, and she instantly regretted it. Almost subconsciously, she had leaned forward when asking this and now froze. Crap! Why did that come out?! What the hell am I thinking?! she thought in a panicked frenzy. She stammered a minute and blushed, leaning back. "Um, I... uh... didn't mean it like that... I'm sure someone like you has had a girlfriend before." She smiled after saying this, hoping to possibly reverse the incredibly stupid thing she had just said. Oh man I really screwed that one up. All I meant was whether he had ever had that sort of relationship... which in hindsight is pretty irrelevant... Eva internally sighed and cursed herself for making such a stupid slip in judgment.

Huh...how embarrassing..you offer to pay for lunch but your low on cash. I knew I should have ran by the soul bank earlier. So instead of paying by cash, he drew his mastercard and awaited for the waitress to come by. Getting out his seat, he simply patted himself down and prepares to leave the cafe. Eva had another question? That was surprising, but she paused here and there within mid sentences. Enthralled by her cute flustering, Izan leaned on the table and smiled lightly as he stared into empty space. Shes serious? Man...I feel like an amateur. Shes already in another league perhaps. He wanted to lie to make himself seem more desirable, but in truth he did not bother with such petty things. "Nope, never had one. How about you? Have you ever had a boyfriend before?" Arching his head to one side, he glanced over at her.
