While the song says that there are six geese a-laying, for the purpose of the game there are actually SIXTY....

This dice game is going to be a little hunting game. A pack of sixty geese have settled near the edge of the plains, and the person [or perhaps persons] who can catch the most will win a prize in the form of one of our grams!

In order to participate, all you have to do is generate a random number between 1 and 60, and write a little post of your kin [or a made up kin if you don't have one!] chasing after fat geese. The first person to roll each number will catch that numbered goose, and will get one point toward winning the competition. Successive rolls for that goose will not be counted.

It will end when every number has been rolled once! The person with the most points will be the winner, but additional winners will be rolled via raffle, where each point is a ticket, so even getting 1 point might be worth your time...

The only real rule is that you cannot post twice in a row. You must wait for another person to roll before rolling again.

THE GEESE:
I will put names into each number as the goose is caught, leaving unclaimed geese blank for you to see what numbers are left!

He had his gryphon at his side, at last; Faster felt like all was right now now. It came just in time, too (the end of its training, he meant); the flocks of geese rose around them like clouds and someone called start. It seemed so far away

They were off, and with Might calling politely with wings raised, he gave chase. It was pride he felt, Faster told himself, and excitement at the hunt, returned to him again for thrill rather than for training a snarky catbird.

There was one, and Faster grinned as he snapped its neck almost mercifully; it felt, strangely enough, thrilling. Might was already swerving to the left, off in chase of the next. He hoped they'd make a good team; the geese looked plump and delicious.

Travels in Circles set off after the geese -- or rather his cheetah -- at a steady pace. He barely noticed the others, eyes intent on his cat.

Above Heartache couldn't believe it. Now here she was, chasing geese with her firefly and fennec. How could this have started? Oh well, time to have fun! She raced after them as best she could

Geese! A whole flock of them! Timeworn and Little Hunter inched around the edge of the flock, waiting for their chance...and pounced!

Another! This one did not go down so easily, and Faster had to stomp it with his hoof after Might brought it to the ground with a screech and a talon to the wing, swift and sharp. The crunch was savagely satisfying. Someone would eat well when all this carnage was over.

Might gave chase to the next one, signaling near imperceptibly to his gryphon as to where to go. That goose looked promising: it wobbled in its flight pattern.

Frost was joining in with the festivities, chasing geese around. They waddled at a surprising speed as they ran from her. One was not so quick.
