After what he'd read in Rio's book about the birds that lived here in the snowy lands called the Aisko Alkara, and knowing what it was that they carried with them, he felt that he would be remiss in chasing after one of the rare birds while he was actually in Aisko. The ones that lived here, they held a stone that would be rather useful during his travels through Eowyn after all. The idea of having such a stone on him at all times. one that was able to provide water to the one that had it, it was something he and his Drakein could really use. There wasn't always an oasis to be had after all, not to mention that dangerous creatures were also drawn to what oasis there were, so a magical, water producing stone like that would be quite useful, wouldn't it?
"I think we should look around for the Song of Ice stone while we are here." He said to his Drakein, as though they weren't already privy to what it was that he was planning to do. Their bond allowed them to be closer to Junjie then anyone else was, and it was more then obvious that they approved of the idea of at least trying to find the stone since it was something that would be quite useful to their group and their travels, "I am not quite sure where to start, only what the book that Rio showed said about them, so we will need to keep our eyes open, alright? If we are lucky maybe we will find them just as we found the Ayr Alkara." That had been a very, very lucky day after all and there was no guarantee that they would be just as lucky today. It was still worth a try though, right?
Abellio fluffed up his feathers for a moment before he nodded his head, "We should try to find one, when we return to Eowyn water will be important. Not to mention here as well, it's too dangerous after all to try to eat snow in place of water." He muttered, giving the snow a look as though to let it know that he was onto it. Eating snow, while a method of drinking, did nothing but drop ones body temperature. As such they still had to drink water from the drinking flasks that Junjie carried. It made things a bit complicated but the stone that Junjie spoke of, it would help them out so much! It meant having water on hand no matter where they traveled. It was something that Abellio felt that they really needed.
"I agree, let's fry some birds, get their stone, and then get back to fighting dragons." Arjan added, feel that while the water was useful that they could also really use the training that seemed to keep getting put off. Everything was coming between them and training, something that Arjan wanted to do more then anything else, and it was driving the little Keindred batty.
Junjie turned to look over at Arjan before he knelt down, wrapping his arms around his neck, giving him a hug that seemed to embarrass the Kiandri before he said, "We will get to training soon, I promise!" He knew that Arjan wanted to chat with the Dovaa Sage, to get pointers from one that was a Kiandri just as Arjan was. Junjie wasn't able to teach him in detail but perhaps they could at least teach him to fly? Giving a nod he said, "How about we at least learn to fly while we are here? If nothing else all the snow will give you a landing pad in case you crash." He said, giving the snow a glance.
Arjan gave a huffing sound, rolling his eyes, "We will train soon, yes." He agreed, wanting nothing more then to reassure his bonded so that he could escape the hug sooner then later, not quite as cuddly as Abellio was. He was just about to make his escape by squirming out of Junjie's hold when he spotted something far more important, the Alkara that they had been hunting for! His eyes went wide before he said, "Ah! Junjie! The birds!" He cried out, sounding quite excited. After missing the last Alkara hunt that Junjie had gotten to be a part of him was more then happy to be a part of this one.
Along with the Kiandri the other two jerked their heads up to look toward the sky as a trio of the large birds flew overhead. They were a bit too high up and moving to fast to attack straight away but at least now they knew that they were on the right trail, "We should chase them! We will catch them, get their stone, and cook them up!" Arjan said, licking his maw before he broke away from the long lasting hug and rushed off in the direction the birds had gone. Junjie and Abellio exchanged glances before the two of them moved to rush after Arjan who seemed to be quite eager to get his claws on the the birds. He wanted to prove himself, something that caused Junjie to rush that much more since he didn't want his little Kiandri to get roughed up if the birds put up a fight, "Wait up, Arjan! We are coming too!" He called after the swift little one, doing his best to keep up with him.
