Okay, she needed to talk to some horsemen now, and maybe bring a couple onto Amity grounds for a tour. It sounded a lot easier than it was, especially when she didn't much care for the Horsemen. So she did what she did last time, and that was to go to the Lost Clans land and start asking around.
"Excuse me?" She called, not being incredibly specific if there was more than one person nearby; which was the case now. "I'm sorry to interrupt, I'll just take a moment of your time." Once she had their attention she paused briefly to collect herself, and then started to prattle on. "My name is Amrita, I'm the Vice President of the Student Council at Amityville Academy. We're looking to strengthen the relationship between Horsemen and Halloween in any way we can, and I believe that the best way to start is with familiarity." It was a well rehearsed speech and not entirely true - okay, barely true - but she imagined it would do what she needed it to, and so a little white lie couldn't hurt her.
"So, I was wondering if any of you had been to the Academy at all, and if not would you like to come take a tour?"

Nirva cocked her head curiously at the little undead she was standing among their grounds announcing her little offering over and over. Most horsemen chose to ignore her it seemed. Hopping down from a tree she wandered close head tipping to the other side.
"I've been to the grounds once. Granted it wasn't as snowy..." She ruffled her wings a bit knocking some lose. "Why so late on giving tours we've been here so long already. Granted... I haven't paid you all much mind or visits myself besides the one."

Amrita looked up at the Horsemen who approached her, that hopefully welcoming smile never once leaving her lips. She didn't want to be here, but she could always play nice. Wings. Jack, please let this one leave my feet on the ground, she thought in a silent prayer. Flying was not something she enjoyed, at all; her feet stayed firmly on the ground, thank you.
"That's kind of why I'm doing it now. It's been a while and nobody's really moved one way or the other. Better late than never to meet the neighbours, right?" She answered in her own friendly little way, holding her backwards hand out to the Horsewoman. "I'm Amrita, err, though you probably already heard me say that."

Don't worry Amrita, Nirva had no intentions of un-expected lift off situations. It wasn't at all her sort of thing really. Flying with passengers was a royal pain. Also slightly degrading unless in the event of emergency.
"We've sort of existed separate from each other. Culture and so on." She waved a hand at all the snow, "And we have the holiday to add more confusion." Again Nirva paused looking at the backwards hand trying to decide what to do before carefully taking the hand in both of her's and offering a shake.

"All the more reason to band together? There's JOY in the air, and it's gross." Amrita wrinkled up her nose, in true fashion of a FEAR-born creature being forced to endure something that was by definition the total opposite of her.
Amrita glanced down at the hands that shook hers, her smile never fading, but twitching once into an amused grin. She wondered, briefly, if it was that her hand was backwards, or if this Horseman simply didn't know how to shake hands. It didn't matter as the point got across, but the Patchwork did notice something else; she still had no idea who this woman was.
"I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name?"

Nirva gave a slight chuckle, "Better Joy then insanity." It was true, she'd been to the wall and seen the insanity beasts lingering outside their little base camp as they tried to reclaim the isles.
Nirva in her defense of course had never shaken a backwards hand, so she was just trying to do a shake that seemed like a friendly greeting, she didn't hold the shake to long or short, she let go just as easily and blinked.
"Oh, pardons, I'm Nirva Sen, it is... a pleasure to meet you. The last student grew very upset when he learned my mount was not a living beast."

Lan had been minding her own business, asking a passing artisan when she could expect that special sweater to arrive for her friend. She had been under the impression that halloweeners would be too busy with their little holiday to bother horsemen. Lan thought wrong. Overhearing the little, (actually she might have been just as tall or taller than Lan), halloweener, Vice president offering a tour? Lan might have been wrong about halloweeners being busy, but to be treated to a tour proper by their miniature second was a good offer- if a few months too late. Arms folded into her sleeves Lan looked to the death horsewoman then to Amrita. "There will not be any 'snowball fights' on this tour correct?" She'd seen them happening around the school,. she refused to get involved. not unless she knew she could win at any rate.

"Lesser of two evils." Amrita agreed; still, JOY wasn't fun either. Why couldn't they just stick with regular, good ol' FEAR? "Nice to meet you, Nirva Sen." And then she paused, her head tilting to the side. She had no idea that the Horsemen had mounts, but at least it made sense. Horsemen and all. "It's an Undead?" She was an undead, and liked undead. There was no reason for her to be upset over it.
Another Horsewoman approached, one that she recognized at least a little bit; she looked like someone from the Gold Kingdom. There was a small, lingering part of her that wanted this particular pony to go away. This part of her was wildly ignored, and she smiled at the newcomer.
"I have no intentions of being part of one?" She offered, hoping it was a good consolation. "If I see one, and you don't want to join in, I'll move the tour elsewhere." It was as much of a promise as she was going to make, though if this was the woman's opening line, she imagined this tour would become a lot more difficult to give.
"Would you two like to join me?"

Nirva nodded when Amrita caught her line of thought regarding Joy and Fear. "We all aren't made the same. Other worlds, other rules. We can't all be Fear or we would all end up starving."
Regarding the mount she shook her head taking a few steps back to make room as Lan joined them. She shrugged at the other horsemen a bit as she lamented the snow ball fights. "Well if we're to be off." She gave a wave of her hand, trails of grey smoke filtering from it and behind her wings slowly building into the shape of a pale horse with wings much like her own.
"We shall ride to save time." She nodded to Amrita, "Our horses are not dead, or living, they are a manifestation of our Fear given shape."

Lan inspected Amrita a bit more closely before muttering to herself. "Well no crown at least." But the little student's, (little being relative given Lan's height), assertion that there would be no snowball fights got a smile. Blessed be, she'd not have to worry about her robes. Not much at any rate. "Please do. While battle is enjoyable, cold, and ruined robes, are less so. But yes." The headdress clanged and chimed as she nodded. "I would like to join. See the school properly as it were." Arms in her robes she looked to the death horsewoman, a small smile playing on her lips. "Come now, there is no need for such, well, provided one treads outside of the slush. Plus our host has no mount." A concerned look to Amrita. "Unless you'de like me to call you one."

"...Like a familiar?" Amrita ventured a guess, but as she did, she couldn't quite understand how that would make creatures uncomfortable. Manifestations and Familiars were so commonplace...it would be like getting uncomfortable around naturally dead trees.
"Wait - Ride? I don't--" Panic began to rise, her throat tightening at the idea of having her feet off the ground and moving at fast speeds. No no no no no her mind screamed as she turned to observe Lan, who had been about to say something. At first she feared that the other Horsewoman would agree, but relief came when that wasn't the case. Sort of.
"NO!" Amrita blurted out much too loudly and panicky for her own liking, her hands raising briefly to wave away the offer. "Er--I mean no, no thank you, I'm quite content to walk. It's not that far, I mean." She tried to make her voice light, passing it off as a nervous giggle. "But if you two would like to ride your mounts beside me as I walked, that's okay." Just please don't make me get on one.
"Ahem. So, yes, let's--" She nodded in the direction of Amityville, and turned on her heel to start heading in that direction anyway, hopefully before anyone got any bright ideas.istoleyurvamps I REMEMBERED THE Y THIS TIME

Lan shrugged, not too bothered by the refusal. "It is alright. Those not accustomed to riding find it awkward at first. No foal is born with absolute knowledge." She guessed the reaction was due to riding. "Plus many mounts do bite, so, it can be a bit disenchanting I suppose." Walking behind her, Lan eyed the undead warily trying to fit a few pieces into a puzzle here and there. "I assume but, do you fear out more... bestial aspects?" Ponies were frightening in a way to some.

Nirva only cocked her head ever so slightly at the sudden and almost, panicked, response Amrita gave her. When she rejected the offer Nirva simply shrugged slipping from her mount which vanished into a light fog that was quickly swept away with a flick of her wing.
"Then we walk I suppose." She only offered a smile, polite and curious all the same why the ghoul was so dearly afraid. Maybe Lan was right, maybe she had been bitten by a beast. On that she could not fault her for fearing the offer.

"I have a high threshold for pain." Amrita chuckled, not at all bothered by the biting; her body was littered in stitches, both on purpose and due to injury. "I'm not afraid of them, as a whole." It was important for her to stress that part, but otherwise she wasn't going to give the real answer. It didn't seem nice to outright admit her fear to a stranger. Two strangers. "I think they're lovely, actually. I have a kelpie for a best friend, he's a beautiful stallion." She nodded, making a mental note to go and bother Calder later. "You two can use your Mounts if you'd like, I just...really prefer to walk."
Either way she guided the two towards the school, and when they got to the gates, Amrita paused once more.
"Alright! Well, welcome to Amityville Academy. Officially." She cleared her throat, and launched into the first little speech she had prepared. "This school was established so long ago nobody can agree on a date, but everyone can agree that this is the oldest, and still most prestigious academy in Halloween." On that she was sure, even with the media hiccups they had in the past. "Because of that, it's usually a target for, well, anything. Outsiders, the Media, you name it. It's survived suspicion, and several attempts to have it closed, and so it's reputation remains intact as the school to enrol in." There was no lack of pride in her voice; for all the horrors this school had put her through, it was still the best.
"So...where would you like to go first? Inside the school itself? The Dorms? The grounds? Up to you."

" Hunters." Lan said, openly. "Please do not try to hide such a fact. We are not ignorant of that which is an ever persistent problem." She looked towards the school, eyes running along the side of the building. "They have their reasons after all, for focusing on your academy, but then so do we." Her smile as she said it was pleasant enough, but it was clear she was interested in that topic over the school's history. "I will remain walking though, less... attention garnering. As for where to go I'd like to see this place of learning from the way you might. My cousin... he approves of it I think? It's hard to say but he's never voiced a distinct disapproval for the school. Not one that has reached my ears anyway." Lans tiny shoulders gave a shrug. "The grounds are something we can save for later. It's not like those we might see on our own time after all."
