Playing in the snow was something even reclusive Wicked Stitch was accustomed to, though perhaps not with the vigor that he saw in Salvo, as the other phony thundered around wildly through the snowbanks, snow from the ground kicking up with such vigor that it looked as though a small, enthusiastic snow storm had joined the current one, a short distance from the ground. Snowphonies... snowballs... snow forts... a lot of activities that played well to the idea of having friends and families. Things that Wicked Stitch was only beginning to get a taste of. His wings fluttered as he drifted in for a landing, arranging and rearranging his wings by his sides as he trotted a little closer "T... that looks like fun..."

Giggling happily, the young filly went about the powdery snow that built up around her hooves with each step, stomping about to watch the little frozen puffs fly up into the air and fall back down in its glistening glory. The scene was beautiful, snow blanketing the world around her for miles on end, and still falling! Though, it seemed to almost be 'lacking' in a sense. Probably because she had no one at the time to share the fun with.
But, thankfully, the problem of not having anyone to share the time with quickly ended, a voice almost lost in the breeze causing a joyous yelp to be emitted from the filly. Quickly turning around, Sal smiled brightly at the patchwork colt she did yet didn't expect to see. "Heya! Eh..Wicked right? 'Know yer name had Stitch in it but, Wicked's easier 'n cooler~!"
Noticing the other's interest in what she was doing, the phony gave a nod towards the snow with the same expression on her face. "Ah yea...though i'm still thinkin' 'bout what to exactly do with it 'stead o' just jumpin' all over the place...maybe build somethin'....wanna help?" She asked, looking up at the other with hopeful, green eyes.

"Jumping... looked really fun." Wicked noted, ducking his head and flashed a half smile. "But um... what about.. um... what about a Snow Phony. Or um... a fort? I could help make a really g-good fort... I could even get some... um..." He thought for a moment, looking around, and perking up his ears. "Icicles! T-to defend the fort." His wings would make it much easier to reach them.... and if anyone else came along, it would be fantastic for a snowball fight. "...We could make two... t-them when we were done... other phonies could play here t-to." Doing things for other phonies was a nice thing, and it helped forge bonds... like with Salvo and Hard Truths.

Tilting her head a bit to listen in on what the other had to say, the filly gave a bit of a nod. "Jumpin's fun, sure. Don't do any good to yer hooves though...gosh mine are already freezin'! Think they got any shoe stores nearby?" the last had been a joke, not because of the concept of buying shoes but because of the fact that Sal didn't even have any bits on her to get them with. "Yes!" The exclamation immediately followed the word 'fort', Sal already eagerly piling up snow with her hooves.
"Ah, but don't you think usin' icicles could be a little dangerous?" The filly questioned, picking up on that point a little bit later on. " 'Mean, snowballs would do just fine too...oh but we can use the cicicles fer decoration! Make the fort look like'a giant spiky sheild!" That..would be awesome!
She then pondered the thought of others coming by, giving a small shake of her head. "Don't think a lot of folks would be comin' here at this time...I just barely found this filly the other day to play with! Everyphony else is probably still tryin' to clean up the snow that's been fallin'....but we can play together if you want! Just until another colt or filly shows up!"

"Y-yeah, that's the idea. I mean... if you think icicles would be too dangerous on the fort... Do you think it would be too dangerous?" He did like the idea of snow forts that had a certain... pretend scariness... but now that he was thinking of bad things that might possibly happen, it was much harder to stop than it had been to start. "P-phonies are awfully busy... but if we build really nice forts... they won't melt so fast, and uh... maybe we can come back to them again, if... if other fillies and colts don't use them after we're done. I mean... if it's still ok to play with you?"

Still smiling, the filly shook her head. "Nah, not like we'll run at each other or somethin'! Plus we can blunt 'em if need be!" Like she had said previously, there was no way that the icicles could be dangerous unless thrown, and what were the chances of that happening! None! But they'd still need to be careful with the forts regardless.
"Then let's get buildin' and makin' them forts real nice! I'm sure if we pack the snow enough then they'll stay in place! And, I don't mind playin' with ya," A grin began to pull at her lips, chuckling a bit. " so long as yer ok with gettin' a face full of snow!" With that she continued patting down her pile, bringing up large amounts of fluffy snow before smacking it back down into a smaller, harder base on which her fort could rise. "Here, i'll make the forts 'n you can make the icicles since i'm not really sure on how that kinda thing works! 'Less you wanna help with the one i'm buildin' now.

"I'm... um... just going to get them from the t-trees and stuff. The icicles. Not the snow. The snow is um.... I'm fine with snowballs. I want to play snowballs. Really!" He wanted to play snow forts so much right now he could taste it, though he was still aflutter with the concern hat somehow, somehow this would all go wrong and she'd hate him. He trotted over and started trying to shove snow together to form a base for a fort of his own, patting it with his front hooves, sneaking the occasional peek at Salvo to learn from her. Much as he liked the idea, he hadn't actually built a fort before, and wanted as many pointers as he could gather. Doing something in his head and doing it for real was an entirely different affair.

She chuckled a bit at the other's jumbled up sentences, giving him a nod as he went off to work. Time to get cracking on her own fort!
Humming softly to herself with a grin contorting her expression, her hooves continued to bring more snow together, being careful to make sure the weight was equally distributed along her fort. Then back down it would go, building a sturdy surface that would hopefully protect her from any impending doom. Sure the design was crude in itself, but the strength it held would surely be enough! Once or twice Sal would look beyond her fort, noticing the colt's eyes flashing away sometimes. Another light laughter would escape, and she'd get back to work with her little tune continuing to hang in the air. "Hey, y'got any of 'em icicles yet?" the filly called out, done with the fort and using her hind legs as a support so she could peer over at the other.

"Um, no.. no sorry I'm uh... hang on!" He backed up from his own partially finished fort, eyeing hers with an open look of appreciation for his construction. "That looks really good." He glanced around, eying the landscape for potential sources of good icicles and then added. "I'll be right back, don't go anywhere... um.... Please?" He was off a moment later, carefully trying to remove icicles from a branch without knocking the rest down, though his first attempt was... less than perfect. There was a small 'click' as he broke off an icicle, and a louder "Whumph" As the small vibration through the branch made it shed snow and ice, which landed at the bottom of the tree in a heap of snow and chunks of ice, narrowly missing the skittish Pegasus. Nodding, the filly gave a small chuckle and smiled over at the other. "'Course! Didn't plan on goin' anywhere else." She then went back to the fort, figuring that the other was going to take a bit to get the icicles. Once she was done smoothing out the structure, she quickly went to making her snowball ammunition. It took quite a bit, considering that little hooves made the production much more difficult than anticipated. But, soon enough, she had finally got a little pile of snowballs started up.
Suddenly, a sound not too far off had caught Sal's attention, glancing over with wide eyes as she took a couple of steps away from her fort to see where the sound was coming from. "You alright???" The filly called, wondering if it was a good idea to get icicles for the fort in the first place. It wasn't all that important...and apparently was quite the dangerous taskRyuthulhu Hah no, it's totally fine >w< I myself have been quite busy so yea--

"I'm... I'm alright!" The pegasus muttered around the icicle in his mouth, lighting on the branch that was now bare of snow and putting it between his hooves so he could speak more clearly. "...I just um... didn't... really do that well. I think I can do better." He looked a bit embarrassed as he added. "... If I had thought to clear some of the snow first..." Stupid mistake, but one he didn't plan on repeating.

Still wary of the sound, the young filly frowned a bit before giving a nod. "Alright, but make sure t' be more careful next time. Don't wantcha ending up as a snowphony from a mound actually landin' on ya!" She joked, giving a giggle at her own little joke before going back to making more snowballs.
Sal began to feel kinda bad because she had such a headstart on the other, seeing as the colt's fort was both incomplete and lacking proper ammunition. So, while the other was off picking icicles, the filly wandered over to his fort and began making a couple of snowballs, wandering off when at least twelve were done. "There. The phony said with a feeling of accomplishment, giving a nod. Now, where could the other be?Ryuthulhu It's fine, i'm pretty bad of recent as well >u> If you don't mind though, I have an idea as to how this can go so we can get in laughter soon before they commence the snowball fight and make this not take too long, unless you wanna go on with it for a bit o u o. Whatever works well and helps Wicked grow vuv

Wicked had snuck a few icicles down to the ground, but he had a few other plans in mind, mostly in an attempt to have a little fun.... and where he'd parked was very.... very carefully on a leafless branch with a snowball carefully held between his hooves. Very. Carefully. Very quietly.... It was, he was fairly sure, not traditional snowball warfare, but then, he was a Pegasus, and it might be just as remiss if he didn't air-drop at least one snow ball. Like... right now. Although the effect might have been a bit lost as he added. "Look out below!" The Voice of Time I am the worst tagger in history. Also I keep seeing this Clock and Paper fandom stuff and NO ONE TAGS WHERE IT'S FROM.

Still waiting for the pegasus to return, the filly began to regret not wearing proper attire for the rather lengthy time that she was out there for. But really, where was he!? It shouldn't take that long for the colt to find icicles...unless...
Before she could connect the dots, Sal had heard the voice of the other and quickly looked up, only to be met face-first with a ball of snow. A squeak of shock was given before impact, the filly quickly shaking her head in order to get rid of most of the cold mass of snow off her face and lock on to her new target. Oh, was he going to get it now--
"Hey, that ain't fair!" She yelled over with a huff, quickly packing together a new ball of snow as a grin formed on her lips. "Hope yer ready fer what's comin' now!" With the she released the ball from her hooves, sending it over at the other full-speed ahead.
The game was on.

Wicked started to laugh in spite of himself, flapping his wings in preparation to take off, but humor got the best of him, and he was still laughing when the snowball hit him square on, sending him off the branch and into an wide loop to recover his flight path that came pretty close to a few obstacles, and then to accomplish a neat landing.... if gently upside down counted as neat. He paused for a moment to blink at Salvo, then struck by how surreal it all was, quietly started to giggle again. "Got you, first!" The Voice of Time AH that would do it. See how little I know? @_@ apparently there could be a lot better tagging of fandom stuff on my dash.
