Doyle had been woken up in the worst way possible: his transmitter beeping as a mission was sent to it. He had gotten up and saw that he was to go on an intel mission with a trainee to Corona Coast. Apparently someone had sighted or heard that Team Aqua had set up base there and TR needed someone to verify that. Why it had to be him Doyle had no clue. So later on in the morning Doyle stood out at the coast line having sent a message that he would meet the trainee there. He didn't bother to ask who he was working with. It didn't matter to him... although there were some trainees he'd rather avoid. But surely he couldn't so unlucky as to get paired up with Ms. 'Ditz and I have a Death Trap Jeep' again. A cold breeze hit him and he was glad he decided to stay out of the uniform and wear regular trainer clothes, which meant warmer clothes.

The rumble-squeak-groan of an eyesore of a jeep announced Fifi's impending arrival, followed by the rising dust trail, and finally the jeep itself, driven by the beaming blonde. "Helloooo!" she called as she threw the ugly vehicle into park. "How great to see you again!" Fifi gushed as she climbed out of the jeep. Like Doyle, Fifi was wearing civilian clothes, in her favored pastel blue and white. Heaven only knew just how she kept her clothes pristine in the old jeep, but the white fur lined leggings with the blue embroidery and matching skirt didn't have a single smudge on them. Her fluffy powder blue coat was lined with soft-looking white fur, and was likewise pristine. Fifi bounced on her toes, looking at Doyle expectantly.

Doyle heard the jeep before seeing it. He instantly knew who he was paired with for this mission and all he wanted to do was beat his head on something. He turned when he saw Fifi park the jeep and hop out all covered with fur and fluffy clothes and gushy. "Hello Fifi." He said with a dead stare, "You got the basics of the mission, right?" Apparently his luck was that bad for him to be paired up with her. He turned from her to scan the coast and wrapped his black and orange coat about him. He actually had pants on for once that were also black. He had no hat on, only his goggles on his spiky hair. "They had no leads other than the coast so I guess we'll just comb it to see what we can find."

Fifi blinked her big blue eyes. "We're looking for Team Aqua, right?" she asked. "So, which way should we go?" She looked up and down the beach. "That way has cliffs eventually, and there could be caves, but look how pretty the sand is that way!" she said, pointing down the beach where the sand stretched out in an attractive crescent of pristine beach leading to rolling dune hills.

Doyle nodded. "Or at least any signs or information about them being here." He said. He looked down both directions of the coast. "Hm it doesn't really matter as we need to cover the whole thing. So we'll be checking out both directions." He commented while looking at the nice beach, "Guess we can do the beach first and then head back and go to the cliffs." He began head down towards the sandy beach. He kept his eyes open and would occasionally look out to the water to make sure no boats were on the water.

Fifi bounded along, examining the backsides of the extremely low dunes as if she expected to find caves hiding in the meter high swells of sand. Unsurprisingly, there were no such hidden caves. "Oh, oomp!" There was, however, the occasional bit of driftwood, which she managed to trip over, faceplanting in the sand. "Owie!"

The most trouble Doyle was having was simply walking in the sand. He easily avoided the driftwood pieces and didn't think of warning Fifi. Hearing her call out he stopped. Turning to face her he saw that she was face down in the sand. "What are you doing?" He asked. Was she really that... that.... ditzy?!

Fifi sat up, spitting sand. "There's driftwood!" she said plantively, looking confused as to how she'd ended up in the sand. Standing, she brushed herself off, sand falling in a gritty shower.

Doyle gave her a blank stare. "Clearly." He said. Once she was up he was walking away. He looked around some more but didn't see anything. "Have you spotted anything?" He asked. Man this mission sucked. Already there were no signs. He bet that the hq hadn't even heard anything about Team Aqua being here and was just giving them busy work.

Fifi trailed along behind Doyle, looking like a kicked puppy. "There's a lot of driftwood," Fifi said solemnly when he asked if she had spotted anything.

Doyle paused to looked back at Fifi. Really?! She really just said that. "Thank you Captain Obvious." He said. He looked back out to the water and just stopped. The water was still clear of boats and turning his head all he saw was beach. "Man this sucks. Still have a ways to go on this side and then we have to go and check out the other side." He muttered to himself while sighing.

Fifi giggled like Doyle had made a joke. "I'm not a captain, I don't have boat, silly!"

Doyle wanted nothing more than a wall. For him to beat his head on repeatedly. He opened his mouth to say something and then closed it. Nope not even going to bother to explain it. He simply began walking again. He stepped over a piece of driftwood and spotted several more up ahead.

"Are you okay? You have a frowny look....stress is bad for blood pressure," Fifi said earnestly. She started to stumble over another piece of driftwood, then recovered. "Hehe, I'm okay!"

Doyle could only shake his head. Stress is bad for his blood pressure. "More like Fifi is bad for blood pressure." He muttered. He didn't even bother to look back this time. He walked around the next few pieces of driftwood and then spotted a Krabby walking about the beach. Before he could do anything it disappeared into the water. "I think we'll have better luck finding pokemon than Team Aqua."
