The fight last night left the pale girl sore and stiff. She really, honest to God just hurt and didn't want to do anything at all today. There was a large, fist sized bruised on her flat stomach that was causing her to hurt when she sat up, laid down, it didn't matter. It hurt so bad. Then there was the long bruise on her side that didn't help matters at all.
Okay, getting into fights as a senshi did have normal results. Her knees were skinned up and her feet were just throbbing as she stood in the mirror, shirt raised up to see herself. She looked like an abused wife or something that she'd seen on TV. The only comfort was that the other girl ended up looking worse than she did. Gently, she brought a hand to touch her stomach. Lila was coming over today, they'd made plans before to meet up at Serenity's house and go out and do something, but at the same time, she didn't want to walk.
She'd lost track of time. Her door was wide open because she was used to being alone and nanny and maids were women. "Ow.."

The maid had opened the door and ushered Lila up to the young mistresses room (and goddamn, was Lila thrown at the very idea of having a maid, the closest they'd come was a cleaning lady that came once a week because two parents and four kids was a not-fun combination.) She walked upstairs, fully prepared to have to knock on Serenity's door, and instead she got to see an opened door and a bruised girlfriend.
She knew that she was pretty beat up too, under her makeup and clothes and everything, thanks to the fight last night - and that was sort of a consequence of being a Negaverse Lieutenant - but who the hell had hit Serenity?
"Babe, what happened to you?" She asked, her voice gentle. If she found out who hurt her girlfriend, she was going to take her first starseed.Saint Sergio gasp look at me all not-sucking at tags

The door being pushed open enough to let someone else into the room went completely unnoticed by the girl examining herself. Sighing a bit, she let her fingers just run gently over one bruise on her side before she heard someone's voice.
Startled, Serenity turned around and snatched up part of her blanket from her bed and just pushed it to hid herself. "N-no one! I fell.." Right. Lying already. But she had to. Hopefully she wasn't a bad liar. Sighing hard, she flashed Lila a smile and then just dropped the blanket again to shuffle to her closet to grab a pair of jeans. "I was going to the kitchen last night and something was on one of the steps and I fell. I'm fine though. Just.. Uh.. a few bruises is all."
She grabbed a pair of jeans with holes in it and slid them over her hips, doing them up quickly and sighed lightly. "...I was supposed to be ready by now, sorry.."

Lila frowned. "I didn't say who," she pointed out, which made her even more worried. Wasn't "I fell" the single most common excuse out there? She turned around so as to avoid watching her girlfriend change, which she supposed might be a little awkward, leaning against the doorframe.
"Alright," she sighed, accepting the excuse. "It's fine, sweetheart, I don't mind waiting a little. Are you sure you even want to go out? That looks like it hurt." She really hoped that Serenity's fall story was true, because if not there was someone out there who deserved to have a very, very bad day.

Crap, she messed up. Serenity just rubbed her face with her hands as she finished getting changed and winced when she twisted a way that hurt one of the bruises on her side. What was Serenity supposed to do? 'Oh yeah, I'm a senshi and I got into a fight with some weird girl yesterday'? That wouldn't fly without ...a lot of mistakes. For one she couldn't let anyone know about this. Sighing lightly, the white haired girl turned back to her girlfriend and just shrugged.
"Mn. I don't mind. It's painful, but if we do things slow, it should be totally fine." The giggle that left wasn't forced, but it was tentative. Either way, she sat on her bed and pulled on a pair of boots with very little heels. More likely she wouldn't be able to move well enough for actual heels today, so a gentle slope for the short girl would help. "I mean, we can stay here and order in if you want. I've got all the take-out menus. You know how parents are."

Lila sighed. "As long as you're sure - we'll just have to keep it light, I don't want you any more hurt than you are." And she didn't want to strain any of her own injuries. Ugh, being an officer was hard, especially since she couldn't talk about it.
"Take-out sounds really great - I don't really care what we do, I just want to spend time with you."

"I'm sure, I'm sure. So, take-out and a movie?" She moved over to the other girl and wrapped her arms around her lightly, leaning in to kiss Lila's chin and then her lips, nipping them sweetly. Honestly, being held was good and she truly believed it would help her heal faster. "Chinese? Italian? Mexican? Take your pick," she whispered, giggling a little before wincing.
Okay. Stupid everything hurting. At least Lila had believed her, or didn't push further for answers. While she absolutely hated lying, she had to keep secrets now. It's just the way things were. Biting down on her lip, she nosed into Lila's collarbone and then sighed "I want you to pick and I'll pay. No arguments."
