Quote: Pheobe wandered the storm for what seemed like hours. Sneezing, she looked ahead for any sign of any form of shelter. Her body ached down to the bones. She knew she was bad off now.. very bad off.. She shouldn't have even rushed out like she had.. not sick.. Still she'd been angry.. hurt.. why? she couldn't even remember.. it had been days, months ago since she'd left and all she'd managed to do is make herself sick.. and get lost in a storm. Thunder crackled, the wind howled but the lightnig flashing through the sky showed her a bit of what seemed to be a path around rocky terrain. "one wrong placement of a hoof and you're a gonne pheobe.. just remember.." Still she pressed on hoping for some releife from the storm. Another crackle and the smell of ozone scorching was thick in the air. The lightning peirced a rock just behind her. With a yelo of surprise, she jolted forwarm without much thought to where her hooves were going. One loose rock.. that's all it took. She found herself sliding at first then tumbling uncontrollably. A sharp pain to her head was felt as her head hit a rock below and her world faded black. There she lay unconcious and burning with fever, bruised and bleeding from a few smaller wounds. Nothing serious but things that would most certainly need to be mended.

Yumitoko II Akuba had been taking food in from his small stash points around his home, it was for the winter. A season which he knew would be harsh on many, but not as such on himself, he had a strong resilience and a childish sense of excitement for the season. He'd seen dark dull clouds settling in over head and thought nothing of it until the rumbles started. He placed down his basket next to the pile of hay he called his 'bed' and returned outside. Each roar rumbled through his whole being, it made part of him want to turn back in but some of his family were still out there. He tried to calm himself by thinking about how they'd probably come back soon, but the concern overwhelmed him and so he proceeded to move onward. His thoughts turned to his two daughters Symphony and Stripe, he trusted Sy to not be flying at a time like this if she could help it, but he knew this was unlikely as she was out with Ivory who could not fly so it would be extremely unlikely at this time, he hoped they had all found some form of a cover. "Please don't be a tree", he mumbled under his breath thinking about how forgetful his older daughter always seemed to be, even if she was less ditzy these days, her memory was not all there. Most recently she had been among the rocky terrains with Echo, although sometimes Echo would like to ditch her and leave her by herself. "Bugger." This may again have been the case and he knew she feared storms the worst when she was young. He bolted off without a second thought. Upon reaching the area which she had been as of recent he could not see her. The skies flashed again, he took that as a warning from the skies to turn back but he couldn't now. If anything he saw it as him against the clouds. The wind blew hair up into his face blinding him for a moment, he shook himself free but could still feel his mane clinging to him. "Stripe? Stripe?! Are you there?" He called with the concern and urgency similar to that of any other conceded parent but he heard no reply. The rocks crunched and crumbled under his feet.

lysia_nyteblade The sound of rocks stirring and being kicked about caused her ear to twitch. "Nnnng.." She let out a small groan from where she lay her head was a fog. Where was she? The rain fell on her burning form as she rolled to lay upright rather than up against the rock she'd lost consciousness too. Her head instantly swirled the world seemed like it was dancing in some nauseatingly swirling dance. Instantly she felt like laying back down. Lightning cracked and flashed once more giving light to her striped form for only a moment before she gave way and let herself fall back to rest in the mud once again.

Yumitoko II Another rumble sounded and the wind now whistled down his old ears, his ears flinched at the feeling but that was nothing compared to when the rain fell, he hated every drop as it clung to his mane making it much heavier than it was supposed to be, tangling up around his legs making it harder to walk too. He huffed and moved onwards listening to the crunch beneath his hooves, he could hear them rattling down the sides of the path. It had seemed no-one had been here recently, no hoof prints, that is, until he came across a part of the path which seemed to have been heavily disturbed… he patted it lighting with a hood and scraped across the surface to see how loose the soil was. "Is anyone out here?" He yelled with a rippling roar which sliced through the low rumblings of the thunder. Akuba looked down the side of the path to see a mare quite far down,"hello? Excuse me?" Her mane appeared to be red and her face was blue, she looked terribly hurt although he wasn't a hundred per cent sure. He knew it was so stupid to trust his instincts at this time when his brain was telling him it might be a trick, but he had too much compassion to not check up on people. It was quite steep and very close to leg breaking rocks and head banging trees but he was sure he could make it if luck was on his side. He took a deep breath and put a hoof down the side of the rubble pathway with care but it was too late, the dirt under his hooves had given way and he was fighting to stay on his limbs, it had taken him by surprise but he managed it until the end until the sudden friction of the ground below cause him to lose his footing and to bash his ankle against a big ugly rock. "Miss?" He grumbled while trying to stand but his ankle didn't want to take too much weight.

lysia_nyteblade She'd thought she'd dreamed the stallion over head up the rocky face above her, calling out. Then when she felt the earth falling to join her and heard the sound of something heavy falling as well, she risked lifting her head once more. "I live.." Her head sank back as that swirling explosion of motion and pain filled her head again. So much pain... and... she was forgetting something... wasn't she? "Pheobe.. I'm pheobe.. the world's spinning." It was about all she could muster before her vision faded black once more as the rain pummeled on harder.

Yumitoko II Akuba limped over to the mare in a hurried manner,"Pheobe? Pheobe, stay with me Pheobe. You're going to be aright." He remembered what Keii had taught him,"please don't move. I know you're in pain." He just needed her to stay responsive, if he lost that then he knew she'd been in trouble. "Can you tell me where it's hurting? Is it your head?" He could see the outside damage but only she could tell her best in case there was something he'd missed. "Pheobe?"

lysia_nyteblade She opened her eyes to look at him. "Where? All over..." With that she sneezed again and was immediately regretting the cold and fever. "Hit my head..." She took in a breath and could smell the faint metallic scent of blood. "Am I impaled??" Her mind was obviously wandering towards the worst.. not that she could remember much of what she'd been doing before this... She attempted to lift her head wanting very much to assess her own damage but halted her actions. "I think I'm going to hurl." With that her head sloshed back into the mud and a small puddle that was beginning to form under her head.

Yumitoko II Akuba shook his head and sighed, he was glad she could atleast say so, he listened to her question and checked for sharper rocks underneath her,"not as such", he spoke flatly,"but I'm afraid you do have some nasty cuts and bruises." He knew he couldn't move her too much in a state like this, not at a time of the storm. "Ugh..", he mumbled under his breath. He knelt down by her,"I'm going to have to move you, you can't stay here." If she stayed on the rocks any longer she'd had a permanent rockery embedded int her side. He dared not to touch a wound before he could get her onto soft ground. He lifted her head with his own, trying to cushion her head, feeling almost nauseous himself. He didn't want her to stay in her own puddle.

lysia_nyteblade "Can't... stay..." Her mind was becoming a fog. Everything seemed so surreal to her.. even the pain was beginning to feel like it was drifting but she willed herself to hang on for a little longer.. Just a teeny bit longer... "I can try my legs..." She grunted as she heaved herself, trying to roll so her legs were under her. No good.. she was just managing to slide and slosh in the mud that was beginning to form a bog around them. One more flop and flailing attempt, and she finally managed to roll herself and stay upright without flopping back into the stallion. Heaving and huffing, she fought past the scent of blood to catch her breath. Her head bobbed up and up and up a moment before she let out another mighty sneeze. "Achoo!" Groggily, she tested one hoof then the other and gradually, shakily, she pulled herself up to stand. "I feel... dizzy...." She wanted to get out of the rain, lay down and sleep.. the only trouble was... she hurt too much to move.
