I pose a question. Do you think the first spiderman movie would have been better If Gwen Stacy was the love interest, and if she would have died at the end of the movie? Also, wouldn't that have made the romantic story in the second one more interesting?
Also, organic web shooters suck.

I agree with you on the first point, but the problem is that Joe Sixpack doesn't know who Gwen Stacy is. That and they probably would have cast Gwen Stefani. xp

Dude, Joe Sixpack didn't know who MJ or the Osbournes, were either. All they knew was Red and Blue spandex, and spins a web anysize.
Gwen would have just a love interest to any average guy just coming in to see the movie.

Spider_Jerusalem I agree with you on the first point, but the problem is that Joe Sixpack doesn't know who Gwen Stacy is. That and they probably would have cast Gwen Stefani. xp Mmmm . . . Gwen Stefani . . . *wouldn't pay to see her movies, and has a love/hate opinion of her music, but . . .*

I do give them credit for not having spiderman just be with her at the end of the movie. I would've been pretty pissed if they had.

I dont think they'd cast Gwen Stefani as her. I mean they did a pretty good job with the rest of the cast.

Yes... that movie where she leaves the groom at the alter, and for some odd reason we are supposed to see her as a good person and not a total jackass, and Spiderman is supposed to like girls who are fickle and stupid. Yes, THAT movie.

AmberReflection I do give them credit for not having spiderman just be with her at the end of the movie. I would've been pretty pissed if they had. I agree. It would have been wrong on so many levels. I wouldn't have liked that ending at all.

They have to make sure that the general public will like the movie, not just people who know about Spider-Man's past. And the average person relates MJ as Spidey's woman, so if they had Gwen, people would see the movie and go WHAT THE ********, WHO IS THIS STACY GIRL?!
