"sort of chatterbox thing"? World's most elegant title, no? Teasing, teasing. But my other guild has a "Random Chatter Thread". Perhaps something a little more definite, for the title of this one?

Heyo, all -
Having survived the Thanksgiving holiday, I was all set to come back and be way more active than I have been able to be for the past couple of weeks (product launching at work for which I am the point person, boo hiss mutter) when my boss hit me with a challenge.
It's a good challenge, it really is - it's going to make my life waaaaay better in the long run, because this particular challenge leads to promotions, and people stopping asking me to do project management instead of stuff I actually *want* to do.
But it also means that my free time at work is going to take a nose-dive for the next six to eighteen weeks, depending on how fast I can come up to speed on what I need to do. I'll still be hanging out and "around-ish," but folks should assume that Juni's got her head buried in her Japanese language textbooks as she attempts to mainline the language and raise an imperious middle finger to a particularly bad teacher.
I'll try to be around on Tuesday evenings, as those are my nights off as night-shift Small Monster manager, but I can't promise anything. neutral And of course stuff that's happening in the MT can keep going as I can do bits and pieces of that on lunch break or the bus ride home.
